I recently completed a second, smaller Star Destroyer--basically the Tyrant's little brother--and you can get instructions for it here: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-9018/raskolnikov/moderately-sized-star-destroyer-w-full-interior/
Just wondering, how much money did you pay for all of the pieces to all of your ships individually? (Like the price of tyrant, and the price of the smaller one) It'd be interesting to know the price range that it actually costs, thanks!
This disassembly really shows how epic this whole MOC is. The way the sub-assemblies are being slided off to remove them is really clever and the slide-to-lock-mechanisms are nothing but awesome! To be able to build something of this scale with that many details is waaaay beyond me. THANK YOU SO MUCH for showing us all those details. I sincerely hope you will publish/ sell building instructions for this one or a smaller scale 'cause i wanna build it!
Thanks, glad you noticed the slide locks, since they're a personal favorite. Even though they're really simple, I get a kind of irrational feeling of satisfaction every time I unlock 'em. And yeah, still working on a smaller scale version, but it's going to have a somewhat different (and hopefully improved) panel removal system. The goal is to have all the top panels removable in seconds, rather than minutes.
I still cant stop watching this one or the other one, great work doomhandle, youv actually inspired me to build my own, i wont fully copy you tho and i already have the name of mine picked out, but i do have more questions tho for you about it, is there anyway i can message you or email you?
Dude this build is insane! Looking at this you wonder how Lego could screw up on the original UCS Star Destroyer with the stability and magnet methods... I subbed!
Heh, instructions just aren't feasible for the Tyrant for lots of reasons, like the lack of repeating patterns, no digital files, sheer number of parts, etc. I am going to try to have instructions available for a smaller star destroyer in a few months, though.
Truly awe inspiring, it is amazing how well you designed all of the stunningly intricate locking mechanisms between the sections of the star destroyer. And just the sheer scale! I imagine director Krennic saying "the power that we are dealing with here is immeasurable" referring to this ship. It stretches the boundaries for what's possible with lego. You are unbelievably incredible, keep it up!
0:00 at the first Picture i was thinking this is a Real Star Destroyer from a Movie or Game Picture. But on the 2nd look i realise this is already the Lego one ... Amazing Work !!!
I knew this moc before this vid and boy it is my most loved lego construction, nothing will ever change that! So many incredible techniques and how the panels fit together is stunning! This piece of work is legendary!
I just saw your fleet featured on Beyond the Brick and immediately came to your channel to see more. This build is absolutely mind blowing. I'm very much an amateur when it comes to Lego. Seeing the intricacies of this... the engineering of the support structure, the sliding locks and hinging, your attention to detail on the interior... WOW. I alternated between slack jawed staring and fangirl squealing in delight every time a new level was revealed. I thought the 2019 Destroyer kit was awesome. Then I saw this, and now it looks like duplo in comparison. Lol. You're either a genius or a magician. This is stunning... gorgeous. 😍
Incredible ! It is wonderful , you are a genie. Very good job. I like your ship very much with the characters inside, the little ship and the probes. Wonderful 👍
Just incredible. Already have a copy of your AT-AT instructions, and would love anything more you can put out. You are, IMO, the best MOC maker I've seen when it comes to Star Wars MOCs.
Easily the best star wars noc ever. That is just epic. (With that many pieces as you have I would build something big and epic but not even half as good as this is)
Man, I thought I took my Lego sets seriously, then comes this guy, build a 5 foot long Star Destroyer with an impressive interior complete with tie interceptors, and even a lamda shuttle...
WOW, it looks amazing, and a lot of cool ideas such as the prob droids or the turrets. I also like the idea that you can play all around the star destroyer by taking some parts of it. Really great, I subbed
That is really outstanding work. The exterior alone is wonderful, but the amount of thought you have put into the interior is breathtaking. It looks more playable than most of LEGO sets. Comical and Whimsical. I especially like the landing vehicle, the way it folds up and fits figures is amazing. I would be interested to see other sets of that midi-scale housing mini figures. Would be interested to see how you made a chunky Millennium Falcon with 500 pieces of ess, something like that.
Thanks! Glad, you liked the landing craft. Building stuff in the "hangar bay scale" actually can be pretty parts intensive, sometimes. The TIE Interceptors ended up having 320 pieces each -- needed to use lots of tiny pieces to create detail at that smaller scale. I don't have too many plans to continue building in that scale, but I did recently build a pair of regular TIE fighters that fold up and fit in the hangar bay of a smaller star destroyer that I'm working on. They also can fit in the Tyrant, in place of the shuttle, to give it a bigger fighter complement.
I understand, adding detail can really suck up time too. I really appreciate that you put work like this up. It's inspiring, like the art of engineering. Maybe, you find time to show more, but just completing the ISD is a real achievement. I hope you feel justly proud. I have an SSD and, one day I hope to find time to make it chunkier, a kind of caricature, So, I can enhance all that wasted interior space and use it, reinforce the panels and make them removable. Maybe add some micro-figures. They have some in the battle of Hoth set, but I'm crossing my fingers for some in the helicarrier micro-figure scale one day. There's never enough hours in the day to get these things done though. Good luck with your future projects.
Mate best set i have ever seen and so jealous you have it well done and its all custom so fantastic you deserve way more subs and likes in fact i think for your efforts on that you should be the best you-tuber out there
You should be a LEGO designer and help them to step up their game. There are people who could afford Mega builds like yours. It's awesome!! I subbed, too! Thanks.
Great job! One of the best builds I have ever seen. I know you already said that a build guide is impossible but how about a more detailed overview just so that we can appreciate your work that much better.
usually I don't subscribe to people due to one video, but this build is awesome and I think you deserve a lot of subscribers. I will subscribe and like.
Lol, thanks :) There are bigger ones out there, but I think this may be the biggest ISD that (1) has a fully detailed interior and (2) has a relatively accurate, angled underside.
Yeah, it's MY biggest ISD--I just haven't claimed that it's the biggest in the world :) There's one in Poland and one in South Korea that are both bigger, but they don't have interiors. A few people also have made flat-bottomed, playset-style ISDs, which pretty much eliminates any engineering issues involving the weight and size of the ship. So, the Tyrant may be in the top 5 or so "biggest LEGO ISDs," but I think it's only number 1 if you narrow the category down to non-flat-bottomed models with interiors.
I NEED, detailed internal shots and data so i can understand better how to build mine! I am just finishing up with the UCS Millennium Falcon. please help.

what about the instructions for this monster
Can you make the instructions of the lambda shuttle
doomhandle can you do speed build this lego pls amazing lego man :)
doomhandle how much is the star destroyer? $$$$$$$$$$

Sounds really cool! Can't wait to see more LEGO updates from you :D
Fantastic to see the Tyrant in even more detail - and fascinating to see how it all locks together. Truly a masterpiece, I am deeply impressed.
I came back to watch again...
I still cant stop watching this one or the other one, great work doomhandle, youv actually inspired me to build my own, i wont fully copy you tho and i already have the name of mine picked out, but i do have more questions tho for you about it, is there anyway i can message you or email you?
The fact you can fit room, handy gadgets, looks, and stability into this is amazing
This star destroyer is quite literally the greatest thing I have ever seen, let alone the greatest LEGO model in existence!
Pure insanity. Great work. OUTSTANDING work.
Dude this build is insane! Looking at this you wonder how Lego could screw up on the original UCS Star Destroyer with the stability and magnet methods... I subbed!
To be fair to LEGO, I used a lot more parts. They try to keep costs down.
doomhandle Yeah I know but still, there must be better ways to get a steady contruction with maybe a few hunrdred more parts.
doomhandle do u know when your going to release the instructions for this build??
Heh, instructions just aren't feasible for the Tyrant for lots of reasons, like the lack of repeating patterns, no digital files, sheer number of parts, etc. I am going to try to have instructions available for a smaller star destroyer in a few months, though.
doomhandle Will look forward to that :)

Defiantly the greatest mock on RUclips. No question. Simply stunning
This is the best build I've ever seen. I'd love to build an exact same moc
Very well done. I love all the little bells and whistles you incorporated into this.
I loved how you could fit the imperial shuttle thingy inside the star destroyer like that very clever
Easily the best star wars noc ever. That is just epic. (With that many pieces as you have I would build something big and epic but not even half as good as this is)
I'm not that into LEGO anymore but this is actually insane
I can't get it in words how amazing this is.
great job I have never seen such complexity in lego.
Kudos. Ive looked at a lot of SW MOCs and this is by far the best ive seen. Brilliant!
Very good looking Star Destroyer MOC, great one and good work. at the end of all take a Beer, good boy.
Love love love the interdictor in the background, we need to see that up close!

Thanks!
Impressive, very impressive, the force is strong with this One !!
Please, the world needs instructions for such greatness.
This was the build that inspired me to make my own imperial I Star Destroyer moc. Now after three redesigns it is 3 ft long
This is beyond... its hard to describe. How ? The duck 😱
That's one of the bedt buildings I have ever seen so far ! ; D
The definition of jaw dropping!

Awesome!! :o It's one of the most beautiful things I could see! :D
Thanks!
what abount an Mon calamari cruiser ? That would be awesome
I've definitely put some thought into it (quite a bit of thought, actually). Awfully difficult design, though. We'll see.
doomhandle thats not going to be possible its more complex and has awful shapes for lego standards
The greatest difficulty is not with the exterior, it's keeping it stable.
Build just rocks.
this must be a set dude! cuz it's awesome!
THERE IS NO REASON TO DISLIKE THIS
This is incredible!
Absolutely fantastic!

Ahhhhhhhhh just amazing it's so awesome
Will you build any other awesome builds like this one now?
Impressive most impressive
I'd like to know the details on how you made and completed this project! Very very impressive work!
The build process is explained in some detail here: imgur.com/a/obQGE
Wow! Thank you!!! You gave me something to keep my mind occupied!
Mesmerizing build bro!!
This thing is too damn brilliant

Great job! One of the best builds I have ever seen. I know you already said that a build guide is impossible but how about a more detailed overview just so that we can appreciate your work that much better.
Thanks! Any particular part of the ship you want to see more of? Or are you looking more for written explanations or narration, etc.?
I am still waiting for instruction to released on this!
Your on my recommended and I enjoyed it!
Nice vid!
usually I don't subscribe to people due to one video, but this build is awesome and I think you deserve a lot of subscribers. I will subscribe and like.
Haha, thanks. There's gonna be a little more content within the next week, at least.
More impressive than legoland or any other lego creation

This is amazing! You should build a Venator.
I like this a lot more than the Chimera ISD
this should be a set.
at least 4000 dollars and it would have around 30,000 pieces
I love your builds
Dude u should make a video on how to make the lander craft
Lee Campbell please do it
I know it was already said, but this is the best MOC I have ever seen. By far. So well done. How long did it take you to build?
Thanks, it took a little over year
@@doomhandle only a year?
oh my f$%# god!!!! It's a 8th wonder of the world, it's so amazing!!!!
think you could do a tutorial on the tie intercepter
You should do a fully articulated Mass Effect Reaper.
Are you a god of Lego building sir?
How can you make a build like that pretty solid
Genius Architekt!
Man I fucking LOVE Star Trek
Alfons Schmit then why are u here?
is it just to irritate people.
I dont understand what you are trying to tell me. Im just saying that I love star trek
