- That's right NavaTheBeast and Kyle back went at it again but instead of doing the Marine PFT we both tried to knock out the Air Force PT test or the USAF fitness test. This is NavaTheBeast's first time attempting to do the Air Force PT test. If you guys are curious to see how we did in this Airman vs Marine video be sure to watch until the end! Thanks for supporting the US armed forces! God Bless!

Army in the comments after seeing the “push ups”: hold my beer.
Definitely not one push-up completed smh. They know better.
Marines actually do tricep pushups normally, they had to do Air Force push ups
Like at least go down all the way, and go up all the way lol
Really, every push up the Marine did 0,0,0,0,0,0,0 and that's a no-go.
Exactly lmao
Yep; we all know that marines are generally more physically strong while airmen are generally more academically strong. In the end, though, the differences are small and are really more due to the differences in specialty. Marines need to be more physically strong because of their increased combat role. Airmen have a lot more jobs that are less physically demanding, but require more intellectual capability. However, both branches require both qualities. In the end, both are part of the United States military.
John C so true tho!!
John C then there’s the Marine airman, who can both read and understand an engineering textbook and kill you with it.
@@RADIOACTIVEBUNY air force has people that will put a bullet between your eyes from 100 ft if they need to.. Every one is different due to the situation.
If I was ground troop I would love for a drone to be over my head so I can sleep. Everyone benefits from someone else. At the end of the day, it's a team who wins. Not one person
for all those idiots who think you have to be smarter to be in the air force... lol. the marines have nearly all the same enlisted jobs as the air force.. so....... na.
So TRUE. Brotherly love and service rivalry is ALWAYS healthy! I spent 20 years in the Corps and there wasn't ONE time we'd be running our PFT, I'd see the Navy running their PRT 1.5 miles and think to myself, "Damn, I'm halfway to finish, but I'd ALREADY be done if I was a Sailor!" 😂😂😂 Overall, proud I served in the Corps, and appreciate those that serve/served in other branches! GET SOME. 💪⚡⚡
In the Army we call those ZERO'S
In the air force they are also zErOs. They both didnt go low enough.
Fr, lets get even with that marching surface
they're marines what do you expect
@@Internet_Guy99 Muscles Are Required Intelligence Not Expected. Everyone makes jokes about the Marines are the best at pt yet they show that? I expect him to know how to beat his face.
The Navy does too 🤣
Six years in the USAF in the 1970’s & I NEVER did one PT test during my entire enlistment including basic training. I had the measles in basic so I was in sick bay when the PT test was given. During the last week of basic, the TI asked who hadn’t taken or passed the PT test & I was the only one. The TI told me to be ready for it the next morning, but the next morning was cold and windy. The TI looked at me and said “You passed!”.
Push-ups - no rep, no rep, no rep... Or in Drill Sergeant terms - 1, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3...

It's BX for Air Force.
hahahahaha
The G force test is where things get rough in the Air force
Wait, walking back? Doesn't the air force have private taxis?
Nah I think they take their jets and fly them to go to the place needed. Need a cup of coffee but the boiler is 3 feet away? Sorry mate gotta get them keys.

Not true at all spoken from a active duty soldier right now, you damn well know people don't do those things with this correct form as you call it and by reg i believe it only says your elbows have to bend to be parallel to your back.
+Richard Hudspeth does your chin or chest have to touch the ground?
We have to do it elbows 90 degrees and up fully. Or you'll be hearing "1,1,1,1,1,1"

The whole time the marine was doing the push up i can hear a PT instructure counting 1....1....1....1.....1
Not a single one of those marine pushups would have counted (AF Special Operations 2012 - Present)
Noticed that also (Army 99-04)
Maybe 2 or 3 of the airman’s would have. What’s your point?
LongDongDaddyFromCincinnati the point is that it’s not a correct pushup, your elbows need to be down by your side.
@@williamperry8288 Thank you, i was wondering about this. i do push ups with my elbows in, but everyone i watch does them with elbows flared out.

the zero G space force PT test is insane
Those are some bullshit push ups. The arms need to fully extend.
let's see you do maximum wide grips, let's see how high and low you can go
Bluegillpro12 What does that have to do with proper push up form?
YungMono that was proper form, like I said, try it, and see how many you can do
+Bluegillpro12 Proper form does not necessarily mean maximum width. just means to 90 degrees and fully extended at the top
+Bluegillpro12 if you try to rep out as many as you can for any exercise with any form you'll get tired regardless
Air Force PT test...can you walk 100 yards in less than 4 hours?
Passed!
Air Force basic in 1985. 6 weeks long. By the 6th week we were running a mile and a half. But it was more like a brisk walk. We jogged in formation at a very slow pace. When it rained we ran in place under a canopy. It was cake.
Basic has changed a lot lol
🤣
AF basic training 1988, UM....never saw that. However, I was very disappointed in the lack of how physical it was. My hockey practices were alot tougher.

Kojack the standard air force pushup requirement is for elbows to break 90 degrees and feet need to be 2 feet apart. These guys are doing dips not pushups.

*BLACK* *SCREEN* yeah i know but idk what else to call them.

Their talking about the PT test just to sware in as a 17 or 18 yr old posibly never being involved in sports through teen years. Usmc, AF, Army, Navy and Coast Gaurd could honestly care less about anything more than making you pass tests as they know youll shape up in boot camp. look guys im in the army here, and regardless of what branch you are in, those push-ups would have counted. It's not about form, because regardless of form they still hurt after a while and its hard to knock out as many as some guys do. Those looked pretty good to me. So good job guys, that's just my opinion.
***** I agree. Watching your videos I'd like to assume you're a pretty wholehearted and hard-working individual ( of course I don't see how you are behind the scenes ;) ). But I respect that, where a lot of these people military or not see one flaw, which may not even actually be a flaw and use it to try and bring you down. Which is human nature I guess. In my opinion, even before I joined the Armed Forces, I believed you shouldn't talk down on pretty much anyone who has served, because they made the sacrifice that the accuser didn't, which is risking their lives VOLUNTARILY I might add, to selflessly serve their country. That to me gets the most out of my respect. Sorry for the long message (late night rant since i'm in the states) but good job to you guys, and keep the videos coming!
No... no they wouldn't have. Not in the Army. 0 Army pushups performed. It's not about anyone being put down it's just a difference in requirements/regs by branch.
“...
ON THE COMMAND ‘GO’, BEGIN THE PUSH-UP BY BENDING YOUR ELBOWS AND LOWERING YOUR ENTIRE BODY AS A SINGLE UNIT UNTIL YOUR UPPER ARMS ARE AT LEAST PARALLEL TO THE GROUND. THEN, RETURN TO THE STARTING POSITION BY RAISING YOUR ENTIRE BODY UNTIL YOUR ARMS ARE FULLY EXTENDED. YOUR BODY MUST REMAIN RIGID IN A GENERALLY STRAIGHT LINE AND MOVE AS A UNIT WHILE PERFORMING EACH REPETITION.
...”
+Highjak86 when I was in the 101st, they definately didn't count if we did not break the plane. one of my later platoon sergeants, former ranger black hat, would train us to do pushups down to your partners fist. that made the difference for our platoons pt scores.
Most graders in the Army would have passed him, but there are some that wouldn't have counted them. His pushups weren't perfect. They Your arms and your shoulders should be completely even and parallel well in the down position of the pushup. His weren't quite down all the way. But, to be honest, that's how I've done pushups during an APFT before and 2 out of 3 graders will accept it as close enough.
I'm in the Army, too. The fuck is wrong with you? The Marine's didn't count at all. His arms weren't full extended. Obviously you've never administered an APFT.

well in army regulation as long you fully extend ur arms coming up on a repetition and fully bend ur elbow so its parrallel to ur body its counts #ARMY
Shav Scott I haven't read the Army reg, but I'm willing to be there's more to it than that. Also, the point of Victor Williams' comment is that neither of the guys in this video fully extended their elbows (especially not the Marine).
Victor Williams only way the airforce can win against a marine is disqualification
With the run, you gotta remember that the marines have to run 3 miles in under 28 minutes. So 28 divided by 3, thats 9.3

I always like watching two different youtubers I watch collaborating it’s so entertaining
I think a better way of doing it to see who’s more challenging is for a Marine to actually go to Air Force boot camp and vise versa and than let them both speak about the differences they felt.

People talking shit on those push ups and they probably don't know air force standard push ups which you have to go down to where your arms break 90 and come up without locking out your elbows
Did them correctly for 6 years. You both did garbage push-ups. Nava's were way worse though. What was the range on his? Like 20 degrees? Going down to 90 and coming back up to 110, maybe 115 is not a push-up. You don't have to fully extend but at least come up past 150.
All you have to do is bob your head during push-ups during the Pt test for it to count. It's fuckin pathetic.
