Picked up my MacBook Air m2 in Midnight in July, as soon as was available. 1TB hard drive, 16 GB RAM. Favorite. Apple. Computer. Ever. Everything about this pushes my buttons to 10 - the design, the size, and absolutely the performance. Just can't get over having something this small and beautiful be so powerful. This will last me a decade or more, easily.

I got the 16gb version with 2TB SSD & love it, not issues here

I bought the base model m2 air and am worried about the finite storage capacity/lifetime. I bought from Costco so will see how it holds up once new laptops come out in the new year.

I love my M2 MacBook Air. Just got it a couple weeks ago on a BB Open Box dea that was too good to pass upl. It ended up literally an open box (rated excellent) and hadn't been unwrapped or ever booted up. The 60 day countdown for purchasing AppleCare+ was only at 55 days left.
Ended up getting a midnight with 512GB with 8GB of Ram and 10-core GPU. Ended up getting it for just under $1000 after tax.
I seriously love using it.

Hi there, CJ! After one of your videos about this MacBook around 4 months ago, I decided to go and purchase one and I've been pretty happy about it since then. I'm glad I listened to you and not to all the negative opinions of so many developers out here on RUclips. Thank you! I decided to go with the starlight one, although I just love the midnight color, but I'd go just crazy with all the smudges. Also, I went with the basic model as I'm a professor and I knew the basic model would be more than enough for me. Apple should pay you some commission! 😁 And I agree on everything you say about this MacBook Air in this video. I've been experiencing it myself and I haven't regret one single bit bought it. Your videos are very informative and a pleasure to watch! Thanks!
Saw a review where the guy was calling it the worst thing ever because it was 29 secs slower than the M1. swear they want to be contrarian because it gets them more views...or they are spoiled rotten.

Question: You don't have any heat issues? Still no fans in the M2 Air? I sure wish it had a SDXC card slot like the MBPs.
it is way too expensive you pay 1500 EUR for the base model with pathetic 256 GB space and 8 GB RAM. If you get 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD you almost pay as much as the 14 inch macbook pro model and get a better display, more ports and active cooling.
Price conversions overseas is way different than in the states unfortunately

I wouldn't say it's the best laptop. Every laptop serves a different need. Since you are studying to be a sound engineer, it is the best ameture laptop for any form of digital arts (sound, video editors, photographers, and front-end web development).
M1 MacBook Pro 14 is the best for full-time professionals in the digital arts who use their laptop on the go.

I’d imagine someone who needs to do pro work would be good with a m2 air for on the go and a Mac mini with m2 pro chip for at home. Since you use your MacBook Pro as a desktop you may as well use an actual desktop.

I went to buy this computer then I saw the price and saw the M1 iMac. I saw the iMac 24 screen in person, I was hooked and bought the iMac instead. Listening to these talking heads got me! Lol

LOVE LOVE LOVE my M2 Air and I have the base model. I use it daily at work (I’m a high school teacher and coach) and for my graduate work for my masters. This laptop does EVERYTHING I need it to and more!

I love it I have the base model Midnight 2months in I use everyday for my Business and personal use. It runs smooth all day battery life, and saves my iPhone 12 mini from dying at least twice a day.... That's another subject!! You were the one who made me want to get off that Intel Mac lol. Always great reviews and they be fun especially speaking on this great machine

Wanted to get the macbook pro M2 13 inch but its design is just TOO outdated. I just couldnt look passed it. Same build since 2016?!? Went with the Air M2 512 and am loving it. But will go with pro if they update the design in the 23 model with M3 chip. All that doom and gloom stuff is for the birds. This machine is great and reliable.

I've been a Windows user and recently I've wanted to switch over to Mac. I was debating which MacBook to get, MB Air M2 or MB Pro 14. Thanks to your review I settled to buy the MB Air M2, once I got use to using it, it's the best laptop/computer I've ever own. It just WORKS...it always WORKS!
Haha welcome to Mac. I have 7 staff who all have windows, two have mac, neither Mac ever stop, every one of the windows machine as some point in time
My favorite Mac so far. Fast, smooth, and quiet. No heating issues, and I regularly work with Photoshop and edit video. I'm so happy that you ignored the developer types, who all seem to be working from the same script.

Since the MacBook Pro is stationary, a Mac Studio as your workstation and an M2 MacBook Air as your travel companion would be the optimal combination.
