That was interesting Peter to see those results. I’ve never even heard of that other program but wow it does a great job and fast too. Thanks for sharing mate 👍🙏

Hey Adrian, thanks heaps mate. It really does perform extremely well especially with deeper stacks. On my old PC Zerene was at least twice as fast as PS. Thanks for watching!

Amazing - I may try this software if I get the 25mm 5X lens you have!!! 🤗

Great demonstration! Am interested whether the PMAX only method had retained noise from the original frames, or if it had introduced that as part of the stacking process?

Thanks a lot Seafox! I think the noise level has remained essentially the same as it was in the original frames. Might do a bit more pixel peeping! Thanks again for watching! Have a great day!

Does it work well outside of a studio with potentially windy/movement conditions?

Hi there. In windy conditions when the subject is moving, focus-stacking is very challenging, even with the use of a tripod as all the different focal planes will be difficult to align. ( hope I didn’t misunderstand your question) Cheers.

@@peterviragphoto No, that's good, thank you. Yes, I'm looking for a focus stacking software that might work good with windy conditions. I shoot wildflowers and it's always windy in the mountains. I've not had great results with PS...

Hey there. I see. Well, this stacking software is significantly better than PS so you should give the trial version a go. 30 days are free with no commitment so I’d check it out. Thanks for dropping by and good luck! P.s. Love to see some wild flowers from you:)
