Now you are going to make the rest of us step up our game in our collections. So far, you got us all beat. Great collection. So jealous and happy you showed it to us. Thank you.
I’m here to share not compete! A collection could be 1% of this but if it moves and person and has meaning to them it’s just as good in my book! Hope you love yours as much as I love mine.
Wow! Thank you so much! I try to take a relatively impersonal approach to the collection and have it laid out as I imagine a museum would do it. I hope it's just the start of a good day for you!
Great collection! Thx for sharing. Are any of those Anovos helmets? I didn't think they actually shipped product! LOL! I've been waiting on my X-Wing Pilot Helmet for over three years! Greatest Ponzi Scheme in the Galaxy!
Love the user name! Thank you so much! Yeah a few of them are, TFA ST, Rey X-wing & I just picked up the Kylo Ren this week. I too have probably $2k worth of things on order from Anovos... who knows if we’ll ever see any of it.
Grew up with those and sometimes buy them when they are cheap for future children to consume haha. Still love getting the ships and reworking/painting them to be models.
Brother you have an amazing collection! You definitely need to put out more content with longer videos! Where did you find all these treasures? Big fan and collector of star wars here!
Thank you fellow “Jonny”! I agree with you! I need to make more content!! As for the collection... eBay, Etsy, FB groups & makers, and made some myself. What do you collect?
@@StarWarsCollected I am definitely working on it vigorously! Finishing a room dedicated to my collection thanks to my wife. Lol. You gotta let me know which of the helmets you built yourself brother.
Yep! I have plenty of the 3.75” from when I was a kid, and I still buy vehicles in the scale from time to time as a quick “model” but I prefer 1:1 props the most and then statues and Sideshow/Hot Toys after that. No real rules though, just buy what I like whether it’s a $10 item or a $1,000 item.
..and what jonny b didn't mention was the fact he made most of this with tooth picks, silly puddy, and magic markers. all for 57 dollars and 28 cents!!
You can start with some Hasbro Black series for about $100 a piece. Otherwise, check out ebay and etsy. Cheapest thing to do is to buy the raw casts and finish and paint them yourself.
Any recommendations for websites for someone wanting to start a collection? Personally, I love the prequel era (especially any Maul figures/busts.) Really cool video, nice collection!
Hi Jacob! It all depends on what you want to collect, but Etsy, Ebay, and checking out the RPF are all good starts. Also place like Entertainmentearth.com can give you a good idea of what's available broadly, but also checking out the manufacturers like sideshow.com and gentle giant's website are helpful too. It may take awhile to figure out exactly your collection's goal, but you have to start somewhere.
Oh wow! Thank you! Some are custom, some are mass produced, some are a limited run by others, some I've made. I just collect what a I like and try to think of them as artifacts rather than movie props.
Hey! This is one of the few easy ones to answer! This is actually just an xcoser version. Suffers from some of the classic issues with that manufactures material choice, but not too bad over all! Looks like it's going for a bit over $100 on eBay and higher elsewhere, which is more than I paid for it and I would say isn't quite worth that.
Hey! It's actually not from Star Wars. It's called "The Chosen One" by Cody Martin. Not sure where all you're able to find his music, but it's something I licensed from Soundstripe.com
@@StarWarsCollected I barely started collecting Star wars figures/random things. Mainly pops. I dont have that much space where I live to have a massive collection but if I did it would look somehting like what you have. I really dig the helmets that's my favorite part of your collection.
I don't think any of mine were quite that expensive. I think a few in the $300 area, but a lot of them started as resin casts, or some are 3D printed and then finished and painted by me.
@@StarWarsCollected Ah, I was gonna ask if they were customs.. I was sure there wasn't that much variety in the Anovos range. (Though there is 34 different products listed on BBTS, which is way more than I realised.) $350-650 is way too rich for my blood. Though I do have a nice high end item on preorder.. the 6th scale Snowspeeder diorama from JazzInc! It's about $1300 before tax and shipping, but I'm paying in 18 monthly installments. I have the HotToys Hoth Luke on order of course, plus Ahsoka, Rex and the 501st trooper. Do you think you'll pick those up? Even if you get bored with them, they are guaranteed to appreciate like crazy!
@@drewlovelyhell4892 Anovos currently owes me 3 helmets and a whole suit of First Order armor, they are painfully slow and at this point I would be hesitant to buy anything from them that isn't in stock. I hadn't seen the snow speed er before, that's pretty amazing! I too have Rex and Ahsoka on order and have recently finished off a 332nd Trooper helmet with the Ahsoka markings, and have a fantastic Rex helmet cast to finish off come spring time. You're right, some of the Hot Toys figures go through the roof, but then again I was able to pick up all of my sequel trilogy collectibles for around $125 a piece, so it I guess it does depend.
@@StarWarsCollected Hah hah, yeah, I'm trying to offload my sequel Hot Toys at the moment while they're still worth something. I bought them before TFA came out, and lets just say the trilogy didn't live up to my expectations.. 😕 Love my Jyn Erso figure though, and I have the Death Trooper on order too.
@@drewlovelyhell4892 I'd love to have the HT Jyn someday when the price is right. All of the Rogue One figures really shot up in value over the last few years!
