In the past I had voted Labour and Green and could never see myself supporting Act with its neoliberal roots. But after the last Govt with Labour Green and TPM I felt that the collective woke ideology of the left had swung way too far and has put us on the pathway to both financial and moral bankruptcy. I dont totally agree with Seymour but on issues like gun laws, treaty of waitangi etc I am just thankful that Act are there speaking up. National would do well to listen to them.

Fossil fuels kill our planet, even if you don't support climate change issues they cause the pollution they produce kills millions every year around the world. Fossil fuels will run out so we need to transition to alternative now, not later after more people die from pollution & the changing climate. If fossil fuels are not causing the climate change they are not helping to elevate the problem that scientist all agree is real & needs to be addressed.

@@robertmariu6783 Hell no privatisation turns essential services into a for profit business more interested in making a profit than providing the best service.
You also end up with issues like the London water supply, went privatised, ran for profit with minimal maintenance & no infrastructure upgrades. Now there is both a supply shortage & increasing pipe breakages so the company is demanding money from the taxpayer to both repair the existing system & upgrade it to meet the increasing water supply demand, both things they were meant to be doing from customers bills but instead sent increasing profits to shareholders.

That bunch have been voted out but the stink remains. Ardern set up a special immigration section that fast tracked her WEF activists into New Zealand. Over 300 were inserted into positions of power and it will take a stiff broom to sweep them out. Especially when they are now in parliament. Check out the greens party ??

  • @TheFalconerNZ

Fossil fuels are a lazy way to fix this issue, fossil fuels WILL run out so we should be moving to alternatives. Using YESTERDAY'S solutions to try & fix tomorrow's problems does not work. There is a power shortage but I remember when I was a kid we were told by regular adds to turn off our lights & appliances when not needed but we are now building houses that have external lights running all night, not for security, security lights do this better but for aesthetics & running massive TV advertising boards. The answer is to build housing & promote existing house to become energy self sufficient but energy companies don't want that as it will kill their profits. Short term pain in new housing prices for long term energy savings.
