19 now and still listen to this masterpiece, thank you Benny and Mike posner , my mom would always play this while I was growing up them little Lazer sounds always hit 🤣
I know this is superior, but he's said before he takes a lyrics first approach. He corelates the beat around the song he already wrote. Still, possibly the most talented person in music.
As an aspiring producer myself. If i were to have produced this i wouldve jumped around too! Knowing years of hardships are paying off. Knowing your lifes about to change.
I love this so much this was and still will forever be my favorite song from him I listen to it all the time whatever happen to him he so freaking talented
@natebeefy the keyboard is only a controller so it has no sounds of its own. the important part of posner's setup is his software. his sounds are insanely awesome :)
@HermannWinter hmmm.. i'm not hearing any delay in the bass at 1:00. could be just me though. also, don't know what the point of an RPG-8 would be, i couldn't get it to sound anything like what Mike's got. I took a thor and threw 2 square/1 saw waves together, added a soft shaper and a little bit of chorus. came out with a pretty similar sound after i compressed and eq'd it. just gotta play with it a little bit, i guess.
there is this thing called a transpose button on most production keyboards. and that drops or raises the key anywhere from like 4 whole keys up to just a half step which was the case for this certain tune.
Wow the fact he played that bridge part is blowing me away rn
Im mind blown as well... this joint is still 🔥
my guy, he did n o t play the bridge 😂 but all good
def did not perform that but still slaps!
thought that was gross beat lol
He definitely altered/quantized it after he did haha
This channel high key a massive gold mine for up and coming hit makers
Ay what's up Zeuz didn't expect you here

i’m you 😂
Being able to create your own beat and formulate good smooth lyrics that match is sooooo difficult, yet he makes it seem effortless. Pure talent.
I know this is superior, but he's said before he takes a lyrics first approach. He corelates the beat around the song he already wrote. Still, possibly the most talented person in music.
How does it feel to have a comment from 7years ago?
I know this might seem like some bullshit, but sometimes what appears as “talent” might just be hard hard work. Anyways, have a good day :)
@@cclark3 talent and hard work go hand in hand
@@marcusk8388 sometimes, other times people don’t always have crazy talent, they work hard to develop skills

Adventure club remix of this is amazing
Freshman year memories man....
@@fengxiong520 7th grade for me. Remember it like yesterday 2010 was the literal definition of life on autopilot.
The way he just sits in a hotel room and comes up with one of the catchiest beats I've heard is crazy.

Red lol i feel that
it went viral on tiktok
Ten years for me
It just got recommended to me 😊
Mike P and Benny Blanco is an ace pair. 2 musical geniuses that will revolutionize the music industry.
I am from the future. Benny did well. In fact, he produces most of today’s hits. Whereas Mike, don’t hear of him much.
@@bendoverDN he’s happy doing his thing
@@bendoverDN He blew up and found himself in the process. He did revolutionize something for sure.

i have mad respect for mike posner. Normally pop artists aren't involved in the music making process at all. This is impressive.
The talent that just flies out of both of them is unstoppable
Little did this man know he would create one of the most immortal songs of all time.
Extremely false

@danielkart13 it doesn't matter, he is using sounds on his Computer... hes just using the keyboard to control the sounds. But its an M-Audio keyboard
Best bridge in electronic music history.
