Stevie "Fast" Jackson and Phil Shuler have put the OG Shadow and Shadow 2.0 thru its paces over the years with quite a few different combinations. From Nitrous on Big Tires and wheelie bars to Screw Blower and Radials with no bars. Here is a look back from the OG to the current Shadow 2.0 over the last few years.

There's bleachers for spectators folks.

That car was mean as all hell in all forms, but my favorite was the blown version. Watching him gapping all the pro mods and shit he did was epic. That car was a monster. All his cars seem to be that way lol. Stevie is a legend for sure

Wheelbase don’t mean shit it’s all about what’s under the hood and in the rear end not the wheel base the mustang obviously has a better motor and drivetrain
The Shadow was my favorite Radial vs. The World car. That's where I first discovered it a few years ago. It definitely went out with a bang.

OG Shadow ANY WAY, but mostly small tire... i Hate Promods in RVW/PDR and even Outlaw 632 the past couple of years... Steel roof and quarters are what i appreciate more...
I really miss the Orange Coupe (I believe Shadow is the same car, it was just orange before and after his wreck @ Yellow Bullet Nats he went to a new color/engine combo?🤷🏼♂️). That ProCharger with the zoomies did it for me!!!

6. OG Shadow Wrapped Small Tire
Look at the dummies, crowding, around the cars. Trying to get killed!
This is not too hard for me...here is my pick and the reasoning behind it. First off, between nitrous, turbo, or blower/supercharger power adders, to me, there is no question-It just doesn't get any better than a big roots or screw blower or possibly a 139 or 143mm Procharger. Soooo....there goes #1 and #2 Shadows. Now, it comes down to the rattle-trap Fox body or a 5th Gen Camaro, and again, there is no comparison. Mustangs have always been a hunk of shit compared to most all other cars in the category. And I get so sick of seeing 28 of a 32 car field being Mustangs. Don't get me wrong...they make a great race car, and I have a 1993 trunk car project in my garage right this second I have been working on for years. But anyhow, yeah, the Camaro wins that round. Now, in the finals are two Camaro, blown versions of the Shadow, one with a steam roller tire and the other 315 drag radials. I am guessing the car is a little more controllable with the big tires, but I like watching cars get squirly, and the smaller tires also look 10 times better. So, the winner is #8 by at least a half of a car link.

The Mustang Shadow was legendary. The Camaro version of the Shadow will never be on the same level as the Mustang.

I have worked for some associates of Stevie, hauled the shadow 2.0 back from the chassis shop in Illinois, they have one heck of a race program. Not saying a blind squirrel can get a nut once in a while but to outrun them guys, best come packing.

I've been at drag races lately like 3 or 4 years ago and I've seen the mob talking about all those people at the starting line with pints of whiskey in their back pocket. It's unbelievable. Back in the day the officials wouldn't even let any spectator in the staging lanes let alone the starting Lane. I hate that shit. I don't know why nhra doesn't clamp down on that.. one of these days somebody's going to get killed.
