Perfect timing lunchtime here in Northern California going to grab me a turkey on rye with sprouts and Swiss cheese a Diet Coke and enjoy good bloke outdoors. Thank you my friend for your awesome videos. Love them. Thank you for all your hard work.🙏💙🇺🇸

Stunning video and scenery Liam. Shocking, the state of the Emergency Shelter, what is it with these scum bags? It's worse than when Al Bush cleaned it out.
Been watching your collecting videos and had to do a double take at the channel that posted this comment lol. Getting my first Weta piece next Tuesday!
@@hauntofthecollectorHi!. I am getting bag end on the hill. The 20th anniversary pieces all look good to me so would maybe like to get the other environments from weta too. I really like some of the prime 1 statues as well(Nazgul and uruk berserker etc) but have obviously missed these releases. Sadly I have become aware of just how badly you get f'd over by shipping/import here in the UK.
Great video! I camped on the summit in winter in a Hilleberg Saivo, in 2004 and 2007. We climbed up the south face both times, and both times it was about minus 8C with hardly any wind. In 2007, we had several inches of snow overnight, and awoke to a total whiteout. I had to send my friend ahead 20 metres at a time to act as a direction marker for the compass!
Stunning views. Well done Liam. After a shite Monday at work your vid was a real breath of fresh air. Makes me realise there's more to life than work and bills. Cheers lad.
Thanks Toni, totally agree with that, so much more to life than work and bills, I know its not always easy to think past the day job but gotta make most of the time away from that. 👍🏼
Hi, can I ask you about gloves please? Got a Sealskinz wind/water resistant for winter, but after taking them under Scafold Pike rough condition test with tracking pols and a bit rain... Not great option tbh, after 3-4h wearing them, hands were like in plastic bag. The material is not breathing at all plus it's not water resistant that much as expected. Any tip or idea for Sotish weather conditions good gloves which can keep hands dry and warm under rough conditions? ❤ Stunning view tbh. Worth of effort as always.
I live in Fort William, glad you enjoyed your climb up the Ben,.im also disgusted at the state of the hut,why do people do that,..you got wonderful views.😍😎🏴😊
@@GoodBlokeOutdoors I know what your saying. I live close to Heathrow so not much chance if beauty or fresh air here!!! That's why l enjoy your vids so much.
It was so lovely to see Ben Nevis, in such detail. Thanks for a great video. What beautiful skies. I'm surprised you didn't see the northern lights. I thought I saw something orange in the sky when you did some night filming?
I live in Devon, on Dartmoor. Everytime I stand on Haytor rock I feel ontop of the wolrd, I couldn't begin to imagine how euphoric it feels up there. Love watching videos like yours, thanks man
Great camp and brilliant views Liam. You and a few others, (Mainly you mate.) Have inspired me to do my first bike packing and wild camping trip. Have to admit bricking it a bit but determined to do it. Scotland, Trossachs national park last days of April.
Go for it. I think it takes most people a few nights out (sometimes many nights out in all honesty) to get totally comfortable with wild camping, especially solo, but it opens up so many options for doing outdoor stuff. You should have a great time, if you're not totally 100% before or after you go then definitely get a camp in at a campsite. It's a really good way to just get the whole camping thing dialled in without having to think about it too much. Anyway, you don't need me to tell you, but I hope you enjoy it all the same 😊 (edit : re-reading that you probably already have done some camping I'm assuming so just ignore me 😂 PS there's some nice gravel trails near Aberfoyle in the Trossachs. They opened up as official gravel bike trails a couple of years ago. Can wild camp anywhere around there and water isn't hard to get, even if you head out for a couple of nights)
hi good bloke, i did a solo camp on top 3 years ago, what an experience. no snow about 1deg. just wondering if you heard anything you couldn't explain. about midnight i heard what i thought was someone walking back down the track ,but coming back about 4 hours later. now i know i was the only person up there. have heard of people hearing footsteps by the lake.
Great video, Liam. Exactly my outdoor style.👍Such a shame about the emergency shelter. Regarding frozen water bottles: In case it is likely to freeze, just store your bottles upside down. Water always starts freezing from top. So the water will stay liquid for longer to the spout.
Superb vid as usual m8 👌👍,will do a camp up there myself some day, it's shocking you had to see the hut left in this mess, it was spotless when I was up last year had my lunch in it.some people eh 😢
