Having grown up using solder to seal seams, over the years, I did for a while use various brands of tank sealer kits on my custom bobbers and choppers and I have to say that if you have the skill to sweat a seal of plumbers solder over the seams of tanks, do it. In the long run it's more reliable easier to do and should a weld fail at any time, much easier to repair.
would love to know where it says the floorboard bracket fits on the outside of the frame strut...got to be a typo as that would never work..also the tank rubbers are for a standard tank so no surprise they don't fit . looking like its going to be a great looking scoot! oh one top tip for cutting hole, and first finding center ... a laser pointer directed at the center of the carb mouth, then fit panel...hey presto the laser point gives you the corresponding center..
LOve it! (I use pvc rattle spray to protect contact points on my Lammys, works so much better than tape. And gives the metal a soft bpiece to rest against and stops all eccess noise) RE gaskets: they absolutely never seem to fit correctly lol especially the Brake Box Gasket, I usually toss them all in a pot of warm water to sften them, then I use double sided tape to plae them exactly where they need to be which also keeps them in place until the next time they are pulled off! And shoe braks NOPE! the first thing I dump and never want to see again are hub brakes and shoes, I absolutely switch out for disc. My Lammies go far too fast for measly shoes haha! Keep it up the vids and work are astonishing!
Lambretta block really small doe....the fin make it look bigger.. -: Lambretta easy to build...for cuburettor Suzuki TS, Mikuni, Ulama Power jet, KTM dirt bike can fit too..., for EFi.. Neco, Nitro,Raccus, y15, Sniper, BlackNight 250cc, Virago 535cc can fit nicely....for twin idle sounds like RX7 mini waver....with custom neck mout...bubbububub... btw love the tank....
Very informative, nicely done but corporate MB compromised... I remember when he sent me a 2 rebores up (!) rebore & piston. I wanted to go to the IOW & didn't ask why I'd been f*cked over just cos I wanted to go...!

Oh, by the way. I found on this last build of mine that it is enough just to cut off a bit (3mm) of brake shoe pad on the leading edge.
