Here is some background on your featured 2019 Mustang GT PP2. I am the original owner. I special ordered it to my specifications. It was fun building that Mustang to the specs I wanted. When I saw some early on-line photos of that paint shade, I knew I had to order one. The Dealer told me they would not stock Need-for-Green. He was afraid it wouldn't sell. I loved the color and ordered one sight unseen. Also the PP2 option was just starting to get promoted in Magazines. Most had never heard of it, including the Dealer. PP2 made for almost Shelby like performance at Mustang prices. Ordering the Recaro cloth seats added to the uniqueness. FYI: The Mustang GT's Recaro's foam is softer and more comfortable than the Shelby Recaro's. Jennifer & John are taking great care of my former Mustang. It was a pleasure seeing your Channel's video. You got the facts correct.🖕
You stated the exact reason I bought the PP2 ... I could not justify the cost of a GT350 for $20k more. Is the 350 better? Absolutely, but bang for the buck, the PP2 is sick!! I was out playing some cat & mouse with my work friend in his 17 GT350 last weekend and he could not pull away. Some of that is his inexperience, but I attribute a lot to the PP2. Looking forward to your head to head comparison. Thanks for the content!
bought new. No, haven't seen one go new that cheap no way. but the value will hold 100x better regardless. or you can get a used 2016 with 10k miles or so and it will still hold value more.
So I'm looking at a 2019 GT PP2 for 40k. Still not sure if this is the route I'm going or not BUT I just wanted to add the price I'm being offered. Also I'm in St. Louis since at times price varies in states
I was 14 when the first Mustang hit the streets. I was never a Ford guy, or rich enough to buy the cars I wished I could. I now think my 1997 F-150 XLT with 4.6 motor is one of the best quality vehicles ever made. Maybe I could rent one of those!
Buying a PP2 was a no brainer for me. I got my PP2 for $41k. I got a Base GT 301A PP2. Hate leather seats, still have sync 3 and all the wonderful capabilities. It drives like a beast. Really cannot talk myself into spending 20k-30k more for a GT350.
Nice work as usual!!! The quality I have come to expect from this channel. I CAN'T wait for the PP2 vs GT350 review. I have been looking for one for a long time.
I think for the price it's a great deal but for the one that you drove if it's only 6 grand more to get A350 Most people might just spend the 6 grand. But I do like the fact that you can Get APP one for around 40000.
looking to get my first mustang. im bouncing between the gt350 and pp2 gt. i know the shelby will hold value more but i here they like to sip on motor oil more than they should.
It's a shame Ford screwed up the front wheel offset on these rims. They actually stick out past the fenders, check one out in person and you'll really notice it. The rear wheels are perfect and flush with the fenders. C'mon Ford!
I think what happened was there was simply not enough tire to have a track time identical to the 1le. That extra amount of tire past the fender was probably just enough. Its my most hated thing about the pp2. I would love a replica of these wheels for my 15 pp1 but only if the wheels are flush in the front.
@@sergeysmelnik YES! I feel the same way, love the color and design of the PP2 wheels, but wish they had the same design on the PP1. Hard to believe Ford is still using the same PP1 wheel design on the 2019`s that they had on the 2015+ GT. I guess the easiest way to fix the offset issue on the PP2 is buy the GT350 front fenders so it's flush with the bigger wheel. 😳
This is a serious track vehicle and Ford gave you the opportunity to dial in some negative camber which will tuck the upper outside edge of the tire in level with the wheel well lip and save the outside edge of the front tires for track and auto-x driving. I know this will wear the inside edge of tire a little faster but, If you are going to bitch about a little bit of tire sticking out past the fender edge get a pimp mobile and leave the driving to serious drivers.
Arnold Anderson Oh wow its a serious track vehicle for serious drivers like you and not peasants like us. Youre such a big man. Then tell me, why didnt ford install transmission and differrential coolers? Did you know the diff overheats in a few laps and the car goes into limp mode? Its been reported by people on mustang6g and one of the magazines. Did you know that ford says its actually NOT a serious track vehicle and that its just a street car capable of some tracking? Yes ford put themselves into a bit of a pickle by saying its not a track vehicle and not installing coolers yet theyre using track rated tires. Theres whole threads about this mustang6g and camaro6. It sounds like you dont really know what youre talking about. The reason the wheels stick out is because they had to fit those really wide tires otherwise the lap times would be too far off the 1LE.
Now 71 I'm more in th o a quiter strong accelerating great handling great brakes car. This sounds nearly perfect. Had 3 1 65 2 66s gt-350 but young loud hopped up but very very fun at that time early to mid 1970s.
I am so much done with Manual Transmissions. I now think it’s only a “state-of-mind” just like being “macho” or something on a similar lines. Case in point is here is the objection from the reviewer. What’s the point of a manual tranny when it’s unable to satisfy the driver finding the slots for the cogs in a buttery motion. Porsche, Ferrari down to BMW all have successfully shifted to the Manu-matics and results in a win-win situation be it off-track or on-track performance. Even Ford’s own Halo car Ford GT only best available in an automatic format. Ford itself lost quite a huge sum as Focus ST only comes with a stick shift as opposed to VW Golf GTI, flying off the showroom floor with DSG automatics. I think it’s about time Motorists (Driver & Motoring Journalists ) should accepts automatic as the way forward.
For that small price difference I would be all over it. Unfortunately we don't get the PP2 here.... Did you get any info on which springs that are used on the PP2
Great quality video...GREAT CAR !!! I'm just not sure how much stock I would put in the driving opinions of a performance supercar from someone who clearly has only had his drivers license for two months. But still thumbs up.

The 2018 camaro ss 1le is also awesome
it's actually faster too around laguna

How often do you & your PP2 Homie hit theTrack brother ? I'm trying to decide on either a a PP2 & much tire money, or a GT350 my man ?
Performance aside, the GT350 is a much nicer looking car.
I will admit, the GT350 is a great looking car.
Also amazing quality.
Great car 🚙 and awesome vid man!!
The PP2 is much easier to modify too, some few bolt ons and a tune will smoke a lot on the street
why is it easier to modify, can't you do the same things to a 350?
Helllloooooo?
Car looks great and it sounds good, and the view of the place is really nice, good video. 👍
Just trade my 2015 Mustang GT premium for a 2018 Mustang GT premium and I’m loving it should’ve done it sooner
What a great video excellent content. Hats off to you!
Gt350, will hold its value alot better than a gt. Only bad thing is the aftermarket modding world is much better with the gt.
Great Video....well done. Keep up the good work!

Great review bro, how does she do over speed bumps & the cup 2's in the rain dude ?
I have a 2019 pp2 for summer fun, just out of curiosity what car do you actually own???

Gt350 based on the transmission alone

Rick Duff I believe it's a go pro 360 or whatever it's called

best color ever
Good review, interesting car. You might want to respect the double yellows a little more though.
How much for the package?
Great scenery, Informative video.. Hopefully you didn't get a six speed with week aluminum shift forks..
