I have the 3.2L V6 model. Decent performance, well balanced, reliable as long as you take care of it, and the looks, easily one of the best looking cars on the road today, yesterday, and tomorrow.
@titoli1 Though it was a couple of years ago I think it was my father driving in this episode and seeing as how I shot it I pretty much remember him leaving the traction control on during that scene. He's performed many a burnout in his day.
Actually, that was caused by the quattro AWD system. You can't let the clutch out so quickly on a car like this without having it buck due to the AWD traction.
what rims are those? can someone help? I've looked around and all i can find is they are part of the s-line? Is it possible to get those wheels on a premium package? Or do you have to upgrade to the Sline package...
@kingfarticus lol, if they put the 3.0T engine in the normal A5 there wouldn't be a need for the S5. They would screw themselves over hugely by doing that. Either way you can still get a looot of power out of the 2.0T engine with some smart tuning. An APR reflash takes the power from 212hp/260tq up to 234hp/333tq, and those are just peak numbers. You get big fat gains across the whole powerband (listed at +74tq @ 2250rpm and +40hp @ 5500rpm). All with no mods besides the reflash. Kei
i was looking on the audi site, and saw that the 2.0 turbo 4 cylinder engines for the a5 and a4 are as fast or faster than the FSI 3.2 liter v6. now ain't that funny? makes you wonder why bother with the extra 2 cylinders when you can get the same performance cheaper, and more economically
@kingfarticus they did not do that because they would only embarrass the 4.2 as they did when they made the A6 2.7T (witch did 0-60mph in 5.8seconds) witch was faster, lighter, cheaper & more fuel efficient than the A6 4.2
@georgio941 That same Mustang while very quick, doesn't even REMOTELY come close to the Audi's fit and finish levels. The interior isn't even a funny comparison, and the two buyers are also very very different people. I like the new Mustang, but if I were looking at an A5...the Mustang would absolutely not be one of the cars I was cross shopping. The 2.0T is a really good engine btw, stock it's smarter than the larger motor getting both power & fuel economy, add in a chip tune and wow! Kei
No, that's true, you did not. However I was simply providing reasons why I think your statement is crazy and why the G37 is ugly. Also, if you put a performance chip, or mod the A5 in any way, you can achieve S5 performance for less money. Not to mention Audi makes one of the best 4 cylinders out there, and their gear boxes are amazing as well. Infiniti is an ugly car, with better performance for more money, until you put more money into the A5. Then it's less performance for more money.
Are you nuts? The Inifniti G37 is ugly as hell. The interiors on Infiniti's are complete crap. Plus, you rarely see Infiniti's on the road because the general public thinks they look like crap. Terrible opinion and a terrible post. Not to mention German maintenance isn't that expensive. I spend roughly 300$ a year on maintenance on average on a BMW. That's pretty cheap.

I agree on how good they look, many years after being discontinued, it’s still capable to turn heads wherever you drive.
Literally about to buy this as a second car. Still looks amazing.
ME TOO. GOOD LUCK. HOW MUCH
How did it go? Might be about to do the same.
I might do the same... but daily
@@zureaiGood choice
I've never been so disappointed in such a beautiful car.
Just bought a 2011 A5. What a wonderful balance between luxury and sport!
@titoli1 Though it was a couple of years ago I think it was my father driving in this episode and seeing as how I shot it I pretty much remember him leaving the traction control on during that scene. He's performed many a burnout in his day.
God, the coupe still looks absolutely gorgeous, my favorite of any car for sale today.
Timeless design. The coupe is the best!
@Chilean14 Yeah, we thought we had shot a better one but didn't. Sorry to let you down on that one!
@BCCHSMD I'd probably go 1) Audi 2) Infiniti 3) BMW at this point in time
1:57 the front of it almost has a sort of veyron look to it...not surprising since bugatti is owned by the vw/audi group
@titoli1 That's called traction control. I'm pretty sure they have that in Italy.
I love this car too!!

amen
looking at a used one
@stevehammes how would you compare this to the Infiniti G37 coupe and the BMW 3 series coupe? Wich of the three do you think is best?
Any word on when the US is going to get the A5 diesel?
You're the only one, the rest of the world loves them.
Do u get these 19 inch rims with S Line Package??
I'm looking at a 2011 A5 coupe in gray.
@aziankid12345 The RS5 is not coming to the USA, its only coming out in Europe...
I really need to start saving up for this..

Beautiful interior and I love the led day time running lights. That seems to be the fad right now.
wow!!!... what a start! LOOOOOOL
Well, at least he didn't stall. Most people (American & Foreign) have to get used to a manual the first time they drive a different car.
@B18BEG6ick I've heard that gradually up to the year 2015 Audi is going to offer TDI in all models except the TT and R8.
Does this come in automatic?
@ApacheBoneknife how much does this car costs?
is this the ibis white or the glacier white
@stevehammes you can see clearly he is lifting the clutch to fast
Love it
MY AUDI IS VERY COOL I LOVE IT

the 2007-present Audi A5 is assembled in
Ingolstadt, Germany
Shah Alam, Malaysia
dang too bad the rs5 isn't coming till at least 2013...
@robbyg555 They'll fit, but they won't want to be back there for extended periods of time. It's more of a headroom issue than legroom.
I'm 16 years old I drive this to school every day I love the way the engine sounds when I start it😈😈😈😈😈😈😈
@georgio941 VERY well said... that's what I was thinking.
Best in its class, Audi A5.

beautiful car, but whats with audi putting vw engines in all their cars, if i want a boring lifeless 4cyl id buy a vw on an audi

i want it but s-line !!
The Car drives well and is well refind, except for the 2.0T motor which is a total let down, It burns as much as oil as a twostroke race bike
@MrTyronePimp my thoughts exactly.must be why ive never seen one person
Audi A5 vs infinity G37 coupe
pls comment
Gorgeous car. Just needs some performance above a V6 toyota camry off the line. Won't get my 37k.
0:50 Lol americans and manual transmission

you sound like chilla frilla.
Am i the only one who gets turned on just by the head lights of audi's?
Looks amazing but that hp figure is pathetic.
its COUPE not COUP!
i think that the 335 is a better value, although this is probably better on your wallet.
