The blind gut is a technical term used, biologically, to describe organisms who lack a distinct mouth and anus, regurgitating waste out of its mouth. Examples include Cnidarians (corals, sea anemones, jellyfish, etc) and flatworms (worms which are flat).

For some reason I got insanely hooked on Space Age gameplay. Until I realized how trivial it was to conquer shit at least. That came right after I got dizzy from how many other species there were. I had ran into the same species multiple times on accident, and nuked a previous friendly faction… That is when I found out how easily others would crumble beneath me. My conquest lasted an hour before I stopped playing for 18 more years. All in all a week well spent

Surprisingly humans as well, this explains all the twerking. If an animal only have one hole for eating and pooping we say it poops from its mouth, not eat through its butt. At certain point of human development we have only one hole as well and that hole eventually becomes our anus. So we are a weird kind of animal who had only one hole initially and later made another hole on the opposite side specifically for eating. We are the animal with a mouth specialized in pooping and the butt specialized in eating.

I have discovered that the crashing in creature stage is usually caused by dying while having anyone in the party.
So if you go solo, you're fine, generally, but it's a lot harder.
Better fix for the issue: Just dont die.

Whenever I die during a nest migration the game crashes and the save file corrupts. Every time
Yeh I always went solo and never had the game crash. I actually didn't know this game was supposed to be challenging, I always played on hard and always beat every stage first try and thought it was too easy.
During the tribal stage, if you socialise the other tribes to blue face happy then they won’t revert to orange or red face angry, thus making it easier to backstab them.
Also, if you gift food directly to their tribe members instead of their food stockpile, they will stay ambivalent forever. However, direct gifting is a lot less consistent, so you may have to send multiple.
So to take from this video, if you are born different and set with challenges just by existing - then you have to overcome these adversities by deceiving, cheating and killing everyone when the chance comes up. Thank you for spreading the positive messages AA.

Maybe all the board directors and the CEO will suddenly explode in a burst of agonizing flame, and then some vaguely competent people who give a few craps about video games will take control and start a bunch of actual, promising projects. One can dream.

I love how many of the creature and tribal stage animations were just happening in the wrong place because the game assumed everybody would put the mouth in a normal spot.
This is my biggest gripe with Spore. Rather than multiple different builds that all work well for different purposes, there's always just one build that works for every stage in the game. In the cell stage, for example, it's mouth on front, small body, gigantic spikes on butt, and then whatever other parts you want. There's no benefit to not having the spike butt and the mouth on the front.
Spore is one of those games that is immensely depressing because of what it could have been. The demos, man, the demos...

If you do more Spore videos, you should try to get connected to the Sporepedia. That way, you'll also be able to see all the weird and wacky things other people have made as part of your own playthrough.

Coolest creature i made was a giant eyeball with arms and legs. It flew and spit, had spikes but everything was so small it fit inside the eyeball. The big version of it was scary and deadly.
FYI, the baby cloning glitch doesnt require changing ALL graphical settings, just effects quality. Works on changing from high to medium too.

Hearing AA do the airplane sounds was great XD
Spore has that funny way of becoming more and more and more broken the longer you have it installed, for no apparent reason but sheer fucking entropy. Just like Sims 3. To mention a minor one, we were quite confused when one day, a great many textures in cell stage and creature stage were replaced by a white void, never to come back (until reinstall and deletion of save files, just in case lol).
The cell stage is oddly the reverse of what a dog does. Instead of rushing in with their head and then slinging their mouth around... They sling their butt upon their foes and then attack with their mouth. Evolution is weird.
I feel like I'm the only person who ever liked the space stage. When I was younger I had a save file where I had a huge space empire complete with tons of trade routes and alliances.
I always liked finding planets that were still in the tribal stage and just obliterating everyone. Then I would terraform the planet till it didn't look the same at all. Idk I always liked it

Fun fact, all members of the family Animalia evolved from a common ancestor that evolved buttholes before mouths. At the time, these microscopic multi-cellular organism didn't need mouths because they were able to consume nutrients through simple absorbtion, but the waste material needed to be disposed of or it would have accumulated and cause problems. So these little amoebae evolved buttholes first.

I remember I had a foolproof strategy for the civilisation phase as a warmonger, which- fittingly enough for this video, also invloved doing something rather counterintuitive
It goes like this: you start by having the absolute minimum amount of vehicles and buildings required to for your nation to function (iirc roughly 8-10 vehicles total)
Survive like this all the way to aircrafts and you basically won- because everything you didn't spend can now be dumped into making planes and achieving instant aerial supermacy
This game is just never prepared for an army that's 90% airforce
