One of the most beautiful song in a OSB.....you can feel deep inside exactly what the song says. Touches your soul with those violins...and you remember with melancholy that endless love. what could have been and never happened. Transports you to that place and you feel that those ashes will remain alive forever... It's amazing
Lyrics: We have all the time in the world Time enough for life To unfold all the precious things Love has in store We have all the love in the world If that's all we have You will find We need nothing more Every step of the way will find us With the cares of the world far behind us We have all the time in the world Just for love Nothing more, nothing less Only love Every step of the way will find us With the cares of the world far behind us, yes We have all the time in the world Just for love Nothing more, nothing less Only love Only Love
Maybe not so much of a Bond film feel to it, so in that regards it might be mediocre at the very least. But take a step back and look at the film as a whole and it is quite a beautiful movie.
Oddly, one of my complaints about the ending of OHMSS is that they didn't play this song/instrumental at the end and instead opted for the Bond theme (which is a bit odd as considering Tracy is shot and killed at the end of that movie it feels jarring having the upbeat, blaring Bond tune playing over the image of the bullet hole in the window/her slumped over dead body). On the other hand I kinda wish NTTD had ended with the Bond theme, or had at least transitioned into it quickly, as playing We Have All The Time In The World over it, while a fantastic song, just felt like a downer. Ok, I get the ending isn't all roses and sunshine, but it's optimistic with Madeline and Mathilde going off into the sunset and starting a new life. Anyway, I like your edit.
I think the reason the Bond theme plays at the end of OHMSS was to not leave the audience on a downer. "Diamonds Are Forever" was to be the follow up and it was important to keep audiences interested how this story unfolds.
Did you ever find where this version is from? I thought maybe someone used tools to remove the vocals. The flute that comes in at 2:19 is from an instrumental, but different version at the end of the soundtrack.

The best Bond film or the worst I still can't get my head round it
I think it has the best ending. I just felt overwhelmed.

Totally in me head too.
0:40 John Barry: *Plays this nice tender Melody*
also Movie: *A tomb literally fucking explodes*
The James Bond franchise in a nutshell.
It can entertain you, but it can also break your heart.

Best movie soundtrack ever I’m glad Hans Zimmer did a similar soundtrack like this one!!!!
some scenes were from different movies.. i spotted one from casino royale, and one from spectre for sure. but there could be more....

As "Brits"......"We're not overly bothered - nor interested in either your views or your pathetic "little" complaints." 🇬🇧
@@markemsworth4235 Ok... as a Brit myself I don't care either about what you think about an 8 month old comment...
It would be be Mr James Bond 007, I love all things B on d,,
Tracey Had my Heart... in OHMSS
Vesper had my heart in NTTD
Mathilde breaks my Heart NOW
Great song. The Movies ending doesn't make sense tho.

Using the music from a far superior movie to legitimize a fake Bond movie. So many fake Bond fans.
