Em (minha opinião) ninguém dentro do heavy metal em geral, seja Halford, Dio, Dickinson, Kotipelto, Matos, Lione, Sammet, Deris etc... Tem a voz tão bonita quanto a do Kiske ainda que dos médios aos ultra agudos. Kiske mantém seu timbre intacto em qualquer nota dentro de sua tessitura. Isso é maravilhoso e quase unânime dentro do gênero.
I wouldn't call Chameleon *really* good. It has its reputation as their worst album for a reason. There's some good stuff on it, though. Would love to hear them play Giants or I Believe live.
How is it possible after almost 30 years that kiske sings this song so perfectly? There is a record of this live music in koln in 1992. In my view Rolland Grapow is missing from this meeting. I would also like Uli Kush to participate as they were part of the group for a long time and Uli not only played drums but also composed. But I am happy with the return and the possibility of listening to songs that Helloween would not normally play. I would like to hear the song Number one and Your turn. but I'm already happy to see Andi, Kiske and Hansen in perfect harmony. It's definitely flawless here... but then with an official release you never know whether it's been subsequently touched up in the studio. You'd have to hear a bootleg to know for sure.
for a non-speed metal fanatic like me Pink Bubbles is a decent album, those 4 songs I mentioned above is proof. And how can people ignore Mankind? Epic song, no disrespect to Deris but only Kiske can sing that song. Pumpkins united!

This is something incredible! It just takes my breath away. I hope to see Helloween performing also songs from Chameleon as they didn't pay much attention to it back in 90's.

Deris cantando fase kiske só presta em Dr Stein e Eagle fly free (quando ele canta ao seu modo utilizando os drives e com tom mais baixo) de resto, me perdoem, mas não rola. Fica muito ruim. Já deris em suas próprias músicas canta de forma tão perfeita que dá surra em geral do mesmo gênero.
I'm still angry at them for not playing this masterpiece in Sao Paulo, but decided to do so in Rio Grande do Sul in the Pumpkins United World Tour... it's clearly a damn hard song on the vocals, but damn, Kiske still sings this as if he were in the 80s.
Chameleon e Pink Bubbles Go Ape enterraram o Helloween. Que a banda tenha bastante senso ao comporem novas canções com o Kiske. Ele canta muito mas o gosto não bate com o público do Helloween.
Enterraram? A banda estava em processo de reformulação. E essas músicas kids of the century, The chance, Number One ,Mankind, mostram o potencial do Rolland Grapow. Engraçado que ninguém criticou dessa forma o Weikath quando ele dispensou o Rolland por telefone, e ninguém fez absolutamente nada para o Uli Kush permanecer. Espero que seja feito alguns comparativos com os álbuns da era Kiske e Andi. Houveram muitas transições quer seja por substituições quer sejam por adaptações porém todas as mudanças trazem valores agregados como técnicas vocais, instrumentais e de arranjo. Podem não soar bem o chamelleon para alguns, porém pôde trazer muitos novos fãs e dessa forma puderam conhecer o legado anterior e posterior da era Kiske/ Hansen.
Eu gosto muito mais do Chameleon e Pink Bubbles do que qualquer álbum que fizeram depois da saída da dupla Grapow/Kusch! O Dark Ride pra mim é o último disco realmente foda do Helloween mas esse novo disco com Hansen e Kiske deverá ser espetacular, tudo indica que a banda está 110% agora!
Na época o Metal era um mundo absoluto, dentro do próprio gênero...muitas bandas sofreram porque tentaram ser mais palatáveis no inicio dos anos 90, e a merda aconteceu, o Grunge nasceu (Não que eu não goste), mas sejamos sinceros o Metal e o Hard rock deixou de ser o interesse das grandes massas, já não estavam gostando tanto de rock quanto nos anos 80. E justamente por isso... pois o metal é um mercado fechado.(Alguns bandas de power metal surgiram e sobreviveram aos anos 90, porque eram diferentes em suas propostas. E ai veio o New Metal e vocês já sabem...Se este album fosse lançado hoje talvez muitas pessoas teriam amado e os criticos também! Eu sou prova disso. Comecei a ouvir Helloween em 2002 com 14 anos e como esses discos não soavam como Keepers eu não gostei nem um pouco, mas hoje com mais de 30 anos, eu gosto muito! Por que a músicas é diferente daquela época, então em alguns casos é o momento músical do mundo que pode ditar se um disco é bom ou ruim...

Chameleon é o melhor álbum do helloween em termos de musicalidade.
Pode não ser o velho Power metal. Mas tá longe de ser um álbum de rock ruim.
