Great song from the criminally underrated album , why many fans of Helloween didn't move from Keepers album even until today, for me Pink Bubbles are a superb album along with Chameleon 👍👍👍
2021! I've only managed to hear Heavy Metal Hamsters from this album before, and this one's giving me the same vibes. Doing my homework before I hopefully see them live next year, although I doubt they'll play much of the older stuff...
The album was a welcome departure from what had already become a neo-classical power metal cliche - that genre peaked with the Keepers and Helloween went further. Sadly, fans wanted to hear the same song and the same album all over again.
I bet they band members agree that it was a mistake to change directions. They had just peaked and there was still much to be explored in the genre... they let this task for the bands that came after them, influenced by they keepers album... Haven't Kai disbanded, I am sure the songs he wrote for his heading for tomorrow gamma ray album would have been here.
@@Fernando-zpt It doesn't matter what the band members are saying about this album. It shouldn't matter what rock critics said about this album back when it was released. It needs to be re-evaluated without bias and as an independent entity. I believe it was misinterpreted and unfairly treated by the rock audience of the day, and even more radically I believe that with this album they achieved a lot more artistically than with the Keeper albums.
As a youngster, I didn't necessarily like it when bands departed form a tried and true formula. "Winds of Change" after "Savage Amusement", to stay in the general vicinity, was such a letdown. Or Slave to the Grind after Skid Row: That took some time getting used to (but ultimately I came to like it.) But with Pink Bubbles Go Ape, I was transfixed right out of the Box. It's inventive, tongue-in-cheek, but doesn't hide behind a false front of ironic detachment. And it sounds entirely like Helloween should sound, just different. A masterpiece that I'd not want to be without. (Even as I rarely listen to that sort of music, nowadays.)
everything helloween did after is still awesome nd kept the style, it's not a cliche many bands did it in many diferent ways, including helloween in its own dscography and it always worked, except for some bands that did the same as others or were too generic after the genre was already stablished, this anti-epic/neoclassical/power speech sucks, its no cliche its a style, maybe some shouldnt just listen if they think true metal should be something different or music should be some inovaative complex boring-sometmes shit
I liked it, but it wasn't welcomed by most. The reality was this type of music was going out of style and the album didn't have any immediate catchy songs to draw people in.
[Music and lyrics: M. Kiske] We poison our hearts We poison our seas We burn down the paradise We're stoppin' good waves We're losin' our trees The future looks bright ahead I don't wonder we'll go under in this river of lies We're lost in this time--we create so fine The future we already fear Seems like no way out, seems like there's no doubt The future looks bright ahead We're the kids of the century--we're lost in our games No time for the memories we look in the haze We're the kids of the century it wasn't our fault Ev'rything's done mum, we fall Let's keep on crying But sometimes I don't wanna fall Ev'rytime when you look around things will smile at you Ev'rytime when you turn around you smell the truth But you run away from the lies you can't say Don't run away from the lies you can't say We're the kids. . .
Bella faccia da parte della Noise a pubblicare un brano degli Helloween già con la Emi. Con quel contenzioso Legale li avete rovinati! Si sono ripresi con Master of the rings. Non potevano vendere dischi in america e in Asia. Pessimo gusto!

my favorite álbum
Buen tema
This is sepic - should be THE anthem of the 20th Century - mankind behaving like a bunch of kids "lost in our games"...out of touch with mother earth.
Out of touch with God, reality, truth
[Music and lyrics: M. Kiske]
We poison our hearts
We poison our seas
We burn down the paradise
We're stoppin' good waves
We're losin' our trees
The future looks bright ahead
I don't wonder we'll go under in this river of lies
We're lost in this time--we create so fine
The future we already fear
Seems like no way out, seems like there's no doubt
The future looks bright ahead
We're the kids of the century--we're lost in our games
No time for the memories we look in the haze
We're the kids of the century it wasn't our fault
Ev'rything's done mum, we fall
Let's keep on crying
But sometimes I don't wanna fall
Ev'rytime when you look around things will smile at you
Ev'rytime when you turn around you smell the truth
But you run away from the lies you can't say
Don't run away from the lies you can't say
We're the kids. . .

1992
is that when this song was released ?
Listen in 1.5x…
Greta Thunberg would love this. Sorry! /A swede
You're a dick for mentioning her in anything that has to do with something cool like Helloween. You suck
Although this album has some intelligent vocal lines, thanks to kiske, it suffers in the field of compositions...
Some people should never compose music.
why ?
Wtf man!! This álbum is awesome...
yeah, I agree, u should never do it.
Who enjoying this "masterpiece" in 2024?
Me 🤘🔥
I never really gave this album a chance. 33 years and a few minutes ago, it just clicked. Better late than never.
Qué gran disco!!!! Qué buen tema este!!! Gracias Helloween por tanta buena música!!! Gracias por compartirlo!!! Saludos.
