I always find inspiration with your cards. ….and I end up buying the same embossing folders! I’m glad you mentioned the ultimate and I did decide to buy it and it is amazing! It makes such a difference and I love the die which comes with it, because now I use all my stencils with the ultimate 2 - no more shifting and if I take the stencil off for some reason, it goes back exactly!

It doesn’t really, I prefer stencilling on the flat cardstock. I did a video recently using the Lisa Horton Musical embossing folder and did a side by side comparison with stencilling then embossing and embossing then stencilling and the results were very similar to each other. It was extremely hard to tell which was which
Loved all four of these cards and successfully tried three of them (bit addicted lol) I have a question though please. Card number four I used Ranger Black Distress ink with the stencil but when i tried to blend the interference inks on top the black ink smudged. Do you know what I may have done wrong? Thanks so much, I love your tutorials
The only thing I can guess is maybe your black is very juicy and it wasn’t quite dry so it smudged. I use black soot distress and then blend interference with it often and never have issues with it smudging but my pad is also on the dryer side so it dries super quick because there’s not a lot of ink.

So very beautiful!! I have seen others that emboss first then use the stencils. You stencil and then emboss does it matter which way?
