Those people that went to your classes and you taught techniques did go away with something - knowledge! Invaluable, adaptable and ever growing because of your lives and all of the other platforms where you share with us. So thank you Tim Holtz, Mario, the design teams and the companies that support you.
I wasn't able to watch "live" but couldn't wait to be able to see the re-play. You are truly a gift to the art industry! I love everything from the products you design/develop, the content of your videos, your voice and the cadence of it, and the fact that you "don't" generally do complete makes! I'm not a naturally creative person (blank canvas' aren't "me doing me"), yet with the more techniques I learn, I'll possibly get there. When there's a finished card or other, it compels me to want to copy it because I'm so impressed, and get stuck trying to make something that's my own version. It also warms my heart to see you and Mario interact with each other and be so mutually supportive! Lastly, in the world we live in today, I thank you for genuinely reminding us that "you get what you get and you don't throw a fit" and "if you don't have anything nice to say, find something nice to say"... now we all just need to do it and say it!❤🧡💛💚💙💜
I super appreciate how thorough you demonstrate your products. No one does it like you and it has inspired me to keep creating. These videos are just gems. Thank you and all your team of people who help make these possible. Please keep them coming!
I’m a self taught watercolorist and oil painter but after I retired from teaching Math I found your channel accidentally and “Holy moly” I have fallen in love with all paper crafts and mixed media!!! I’m just starting but I love your products ❤. I have always loved antiques anything from “years gone by” The kindness is so refreshing Thank you Nancy Rolfe Texas
Mr. Holtz .. just want to say how grateful I am for your channel. You're actually a teacher as well as an artist because you explain in a way that is so clear and when you demonstrate, that just seals it in my mind ... now I get it! Thank you again and God bless your gift and business!
You guys are such a blessing to our lives. Without you I wouldn’t be creating. It soothes my soul in times of stress and challenges. Love you both!!!!!!!
I love what you said about the benefit of learning TECHNIQUES. I couldn't agree more!!! Thankyou Tim and Thankyou Mario. I needed to hear a Live today!!! Tim, you are brilliant!!! Karen from Maine
Tim, I am a new, not yet an official “maker”.. I want to thank you for the inspiration. I now slow life down and observe the colors around me. Now, I actually see things and refer to what I see as..your beautiful colors. Uncharted Mariner, stormy sky, ripe persimmon.. I can’t stop myself. Thank you for helping me see things more beautifully. You’re the BEST and have truly influenced me for the better. Now, if I can just learn to blend. 🤣
Love the tim talk. Ive been diagnosed with terminal cancer( im not looking for pity) but i wanted you to know that the Saturday demos etc make my week. I can still scrsppbook so its great
I've been seeing one of my junk journal gals struggling with Glaze in her videos, so I decided to come and learn from the boss.😉 I have such a better understanding now!! Thank you Tim & Mario! You never disappoint! I'm not into the mega mixed media creations like many of your makers, but do want to use my Glaze for my junk jouraling. Most helpful to me was the color variations depending upon what you put under it...the water trick (which is what this gal was having the most trouble with)...and that it's translucent, and how i prefer that many times for the vintage look. The combination of Glaze & Crackle is so exciting to me! I'm ready to play & experiment! Thanks again! I also just ordered the mini squeegees on Amazon! Haha. Btw, many of us junk journal peeps are thrilled to see our beloved Luise Heinzl on your makers team!🎉 Good choice! I'm sure it will help that she is already obsessed with all of her TH products!😄 Hope all is happiness and health in your lives! Loved your 4th of July decorations once again! It would seem you two could use a bigger house....?🤷🏻🤭 🌞❤
Totally get the whole vault series now thanks to your demos and your amazing makers!!! Thank you always Tim & Mario. So much work in the background to bring these to the industry ❤
Tim, I have been wracking my creative mind of what I can use to make a grouping of very colorful, 4x6 or 5x7 art pieces. I wanted abstract or just something with multiple colors. Watching you do the layered pieces made the light bulb go off!! So I’m adding to my embossing glazes, by 12😊. Thank you!!!
Love all your tidbits of information! Looking forward to 20 lives and lots of new products! Bring on Halloween and Christmas (well, especially Christmas since it's my favorite holiday to create for!)! Eek, Boo and Ho, Ho, Ho!
Hello Tim & Mario… sorry I wasn’t able to watch ‘LIVE’ as I was 4 hours mowing my back lawn - I did think of you at one point with your patch of turf. LOL … I think “GLAZE” is the PERFECT name for your Distress Embossing Colors.. I love that you show so many ways to swatch colors as well as so many ways to actually USE them… I thoroughly enjoyed your demo… I love that you combined old colors with the new colors and encouraged us to play with what we have… I loved that you could tell Mario exactly where to find the sand paper / steel wool tools… Your social media information was interesting - I don’t do Instagram but I am subscribed, I ‘like’ all your videos and I receive notifications when you post new videos/lives… finally… I love that you mentioned doing your best - I think it’s important that we put forth the effort that will lead us to a successful outcome because otherwise, what’s the point? I hope you both have a wonderful weekend and upcoming week and will look forward to seeing you next Saturday! 🙂
Hi Tim and Mario....LONG time follower and watcher....first time commenting. LOVE what you do and really enjoy your Live videos....I've been listening/watching while in my Art room....thank you for always inspiring creativity. Have beautiful weekend....see you next Saturday 🙂
Just got past the swatch explanation and have to say you do such an excellent job of explaining the qualities of the glaze and how to use it. I learn so much watching your videos! It makes me want to get ALL the products in all the colors! You are a blessing to the craft community. ❤
OMG the message you communicated toward the end of the video was OUTSTANDING……always anticipating and wanting to do the “next best thing”. I have always said, I am “good” at everything but I’m not GREAT at anything……you have inspired me now to take time to learn and master the technique……become GREAT at things!!! Thank You Tim and Mario!!! Love you❤
Wow what beautiful colours. Love you guys anyway I ain’t got any those new colours yet but I did get out my old stuff inking and embossing away. Thank you Tim and Mario ❤
I missed the live😔, but am so grateful to be able to watch this now. I don't comment much when I do watch, BUT just want you to know that I love you guys and I love your products. I have gained so much knowledge & inspiration from your tutorials. Thank you so much. ❤
Thanks for great learning techniques and teaching us with such great encouraging personalities. Love Mario also. I found your squeegees on Amazon-2 for 7.00. Will get them tomorrow.
So glad to catch up on this live. Another incredible live filled with amazing information. So grateful for your experience and expertise and the accessible way you teach and share your knowledge, thank you Tim! xoxo
I came across this video and I was blown away! The information you gave in the beginning of the video is amazing and gave me a different look to how I will use my Distress Embossing glaze. I have so many colors of glaze and now I have so many ideas of what to do. I also placed an order for the Butterflies adornments and supplies to make them. I can't wait! Love your videos!
Hi Tim and Mario thanks for sharing your thoughts and design process. This was a special treat and it was so inspirational .Have a great week and Happy Crafting from Scotland.x

Hi, Tim!!! I love the effect of the translucent eps! I've always loved the Distress colors from you and Ranger. You are a fountain of information. All of the products used are linked in the chat during the live. Following the live, all products used are listed + linked on my website timholtz.com (which is linked in the description box).
@@timholtz So is the sealer for the paste to not dry really just a press and seal from Glad or is it something else??????
@@heidim6468 Yes. It’s just Press n’ Seal.
@timholtz how does the distress line work with acrylic paints.
Distress Embossing Glaze works great over acrylic paint.
🤔🤔🤗🤗😍😍🇪🇪спасибо большое за информацию
What happens if you mix the glaze with frosted crystal???
Try it. It creates a muted effect, but the color becomes splotchy.
Want to try on acetate like stained glass
