30 years on and people are still talking about Zino. I’ve had the pleasure of smoking some Cuban Davidoff cigars over the years and they were by far the some of the best cigars I’ve ever had. Zino Davidoff is a legend. Talk about a truly remarkable and amazing life.

Grande Zino Davidoff ! Rimarrà il portavoce nr.1 nel mondo . Se oggi conosciamo il mondo del "sigaro" lo dobbiamo a Lui .
    Grazie

It's just too bad Zino Davidoff didn't put his enthusiasm and optimism behind promoting a healthy product.

Bigwave2003 - Zino lent his name not only to his own brand of cigars, but many other "gentlemen's" items such as cologne, ties, and other fashionable accoutrements . He also donated millions of dollars over the years to orphanages and multiple youth programs both in Europe and the USA. Folks need to understand ~ Davidoff cigars (as well as any cigars, but especially Davidoff) are not meant to be smoked 10 or 20 every single day. Zino was a man who enjoyed life. The finer things in life may not be the way YOU decide to spend 45 mins of your day, but I've been in the fine cigars business myself for the better part of 20 years. It's an adult decision to enjoy certain things in life - just as a cognac, bourbon, or even a beautiful woman - all can be hazardous to your health to one degree or another. Leave responsible cigar enthusiasts be, and perhaps try a Davidoff. For a beginner, I'd highly recommend a Tubo 2000. Fantastic smoke, about 40-50 mins. If you like pairing, try a light bourbon such as Basil Hayden's with a dash of water, or a Walker Red Label with a dash. If you want to make it great, a pasta and/or chicken dish would be best to lead into your post-dinner aperitifs. If you're more of a steak guy, try a Davidoff Special "R" after the steak, and a glass of port (Fonseca Bin series is very good as of late) or a medium-to-light-heavy scotch such as Balvenie or Talisker. Ambrosia. 👍
