so i bought this and never intended to use the money clip. i have a wallet and will always prefer that to a money clip. if i had one credit card that had no limit then MAYBE. big maybe. anyways i clip it to my belt/trousers and it is at that point a very simple and comfortable edc in that respect and regard. but i am glad i came across your video you guys are wonderful. great energy great information and practical and honest about it. will definitely be subscribing and sorting through more of your vids. thanks again. cheers.
Meaningless video. The only metric you used was if it held five cards or not. Absolutely a waste of my time. How about sharpness of the knife? Security of the knife not to fall out? Overall weight? How much cash it can hold? Combination of bills plus cash? Finishing? There are many metrics that you completely ignored.
Knife had an ok edge, we would recommend sharpening it once you receive it. The knife itself stays very secure, but I wish it released a little easier just because I am impatient and prefer my knife ready to go as soon as possible. As far as what it can hold (cards/cash), not much. If you have 3 cards and 2-3 bills the knife becomes impossible to get out until you remove something from the clip. The only time this could be useful is if you only have 2-4 cards and no cash or just cash. Hope this helps!! 🙂
Since I almost lost my wallet. I keep my debit card, extra linscense and insurance at home in my wallet. All I carry is credit card, spare I'd, and a Costco card. I don't carry cash but tor me I see that knife is a last attempt to get away. It's good enough for me. At least if I loose my credit card and I'd I cN cancell it and order a new id
I think the GDC is a "I forgot the milk" carry where you gotta run to do a quick errand. Don't necessarily need a lot from your wallet. Maybe 1 bill and your ID and debit card. I have a thing for knives and I carry a Gerber EAB which is a utility knife with a money clip. It isn't great for a money clip. Sure you can fit 4-5 bills in kind of snugly; but its not the primary purpose. It's better as a general cutting tool. But most of Gerbers products are cutting tools at a lower standard of quality.
TBH I'd separate another compartment for the cards behind the knife, with just a small addition of some stronger elastic bands, the knife sheath itself could "bulge" into the cash and strap, cards would be secure behind 2 flat pieces of metal or 1 metal 1 carbon fiber layer. Knife release would be easier hence toward the paper. Overall it would be slightly thicker, but you could hit 2 flies with 1 swat LOL!
As if you needed to use the knife as many times as you use any of the cards or money. Getting the knife out doesn't have to be an easy task. You will probably use the knife once a week. These guys didn't use common sense.
I looked at these, but never did buy one. I've never gotten on board with the whole minimalist wallet movement, as I use my leather wallet to hold a pretty good amount of items besides credit cards & cash. I usually carry some bandages & a book of matches in mine along with a small, very flat single-blade folder. It's just a "no-name" little knife that was sold at a souvenir stand in Portugal that my aunt bought for my father when she went to Portugal on vacation years ago. It may just be a "throw-away" knife, but it has always had a keen edge and is the slimmest knife I own, it makes a good knife of "last resort" IMO.
I actually bought this thing strictly on impulse, years ago, because I thought it was cool to have that little knife built in. Until this day, I haven’t used it at all. Not even a test run. Lol.. What a waste of money that was. 🤦🏽♂️💸💸💸
Thanks guys. You just saved me from myself!
I was gifted one. I stroped it so sharp it shaves like butter. I use the money clip for a bit of cash I might need

This seems perfect strictly for making a perfect hole for shotgunning beers
I had not really though of that! Good point!! 🍻
UNBX thank you!
Glad to hear from you guys again!
I carry 3 cards and usually 2-3 bills and mine works great. But if I put one more card in, I cannot get the knife out.
If imma carry something this compact, honestly that's about all I need. Is 3 cards and a couple of bills.
Can you flip the knife and lock it in so the sheath is a handle?
Jose Corona No, it only fits into the sheath to store the blade.
You answered my questions! Thanks!

Haha! Luckily it's not very expensive!
I only take 3 cards with me on my money clip now. If I have cash then I will take only 2 cards so for me it will work
Thanks for review. Saved me the disappointment.
If it was the Leatherman brand that made it you would have praised it I'm sure
Good for broke college student basically, lol
Wait now I want it...
IDE use it
License, debit card cause im not a broke bitch, few bills and this works great. Edc carry? No. For a concert or going out to a bar? Buy it.
Didn't even review the blade itself wtf?
Symptomatic of the usual Gerber hit or miss - come up with a concept but don't field test it before it's on shelves.
Made in China or Taiwan?
Its a knife ...winner winner chicken dinner.. im a knife collector can you tell ...😜😜
No
It’s a money clip... meaning cash.. this video is a thumbs down from me. Don’t watch.
Not 4 me too so .... 🥴🧘
Dude your pressing the back part where the clip is that is why you cant pull the blade.. crap review
In case you need to pay for something in the woods
