- Fastest lap from an unfortunately disrupted race, yellows for a few laps, SC leading to a red flag with no restart.. regardless 9 secs in front in a few laps at my local track

Cheers that's definitely true! Missing around 100bhp somewhere somehow so they didn't quite align perfectly but clearly well enough 😅

The car is looking on point. You got the set up right there for that lap and managed to get the tyres to wake up this time? looking forward to seeing more of the racing. The front end on this lap was impressive virtually 0 understeer bar the last few corners there was the tiny amount. Looks like you have go the weight transfer and areo working in almost perfect harmony from the video I no the felling may differ... Well done lads when you at Snetterton this year?
This lap is on a052 not slicks so no issue with temps… Snetterton is 17/18 Aug
@@petelawton-hcr_works6059 ah makes sense why it looked like you have the grip looks like a different car on the a052. You Still having issues getting the slicks to switch on in this colder weather we are having this year? Did you test them round Cadwell?
@@danielgreen4213 we didn’t try them this weekend and not had time or funds to do a test day so just stick with a052 for now.
@@petelawton-hcr_works6059 yes fully understand in terms of testing and the cost! Looked good any way how they holding up by the end if the race much thermal deg on them? Save the slicks for the warmer weather. Prob with slicks in our experience is you need the mechanical grip to swich them on in the colder weather so need a good aero balance.
Look what the FWD touring cars do go out do a hot lap or 2 in qualifying then hop into the pits and switch the font and rear axle just to get the temp in the rears when the weather is colder! Then go out and do and do there push lap....

How is it a lap record with a yellow flag showing ??? Or was I the only one that saw it?
Yes I saw it and there was a slippery surface flag too, slowed entry slightly until I saw tyre stack. Lost a little over 3 tenths compared to out lap
