DISCLAIMER: This person have very good artifacts
TLDR: around 200-300 EM is great. Anything above this the cost benefit starts to go down. So if you use EM sands use a HP weapon and vice versa
Does this apply to Scarlet sands too?
@@DamslettesSIMP i think this in general apply to any set. If you have too much EM then it means you have less HP. Less HP > less base stat > less damage.

@@DamslettesSIMP If you were too used Scarlet Sand, all in all your EM can be higher a little bit, the cap can be raised to 400. But as always too much is not good, 500 is definitely pushing it.
However, if you have like 32k+ HP, 65+ to 180+ Crit ratio, after E conversion your Atk is around 2800+, you can go ham on the EM.

I've looking for something like this for a while. I got Vortex Vanquisher while I was pulling for Amos Bow a while ago, and was wondering how it would compare to the 4* options, since I don't have any 5* spear, and this was extremely helpful.

bane is always sec wep of choice for hu tao if you don't have homa.

@@fcukhappiness1376 Deathmatch is almost the same as dragon's bane if you have good enough artifacts(and if you get some em/dmg boost from teammates to balance your stats).So use whatever you have.
I just got Homa after using r5 Dragon's bane since forever on her. I can hardly tell the difference in dps even after I adjusted for EM/HP and such when switching weapons. Homa is definitely better, but not by much, to my surprise.

so dragon's bane > pjws? because with pwjs you have to build the stacks for max dmg but it can get a bit in the way of the rotation sometimes?

don’t build atk on your hu tao it will all come from her hp, besides that yes you can use blackcliff however lithic spear and dragons bane would be better especially at R5
It’s better to have 1k atk with more crit rate and way higher hp
Try to get 70:200+ with 1k atk and 35-40k hp for ideal damage. Also blackcliff is ok, there are better 4 star weapons but it’s good for crit

And I also use EM Sands with 29k HP(without Hydro Buff 26k)

@@veliona_vollerei_ I’m using dragons bane and have 60:200 with 35k hp without buff and crit rate circlet and hp sands. It’s entirely possible especially with a crit weapon my substats aren’t the best because a lot went into hp instead of crit rate
so basically primorial jade winged spear is the best substitute if u dont have homa

SoSS is a little bit underwhelming. I thought it’s supposed to be her second BiS, isn’t it ?
It is, due to super high Crit Rate. The passive is additive only, and doesn't rlly benefit her (unless you use EM sand which buff its passive much better)
Here's the thing. To fully utilise SoSS you need to use 4pc Gilded Dreams with em sands. Keep your em between 200-300.
In first rotation, your dmg won't be higher compared to other spears. But in second rotation it can reach near Homa. It's only 5-10% difference, that's why it's called her 2nd BiS.

@@DamslettesSIMP Don't ignore HP because that's still your main source of conversion but with Scarlet Sands you can run much higher EM than normally, around 350+.

you wouldnt use crit dmg circlet with homa, homa already gives 66.2 crit dmg so you need crit rate circlet to balance it out
NAH I THINK MY HU TAO HAS PROBLEMS, MY RATIO IS 230.6CD 86.4CR 277 EM, 23K HP with 4pc crimson (EM SANDS) AND IM ONLY DEALING 20K CHARGE ATTK DMG (TRIPLE CROWNED BTW)
You need some HP :)
The ideal amount of HP for her is 30K+

I have r3 dragon's bane with HP, HP, crit because I CAN'T GET THAT DAMN PYRO GOBLET with stats: 61/200 crit, 300 em, 36k HP with hydro resonance. I do 50k charge atks with only her own buffs.
Ahh yes I do use 4p shim cause I like the effect more + resin efficient to farm because of EoSF

Looks like EM sand is better than HP.
Strictly dmg speaking, EM is 9 time out of 10 is better than HP.
HP just drop more often that's why most people go with that option more.
The only case of HP being better is using Dragon's Bane because the weapon have a lot of EM so using HP is better.
For 4 stars, dragons bane is the best because it already gives over 200 em so you can also have hp sands which boosts the damage more than the other 4 stars
