The Comedian they've shown looks great too. The only thing that bothered me was the box art. Looks like the interview with Tom Wait that inspired Heath Ledger's Joker. A pic of the smiiley face badge with a drop of blood would have sufficed

I bought the filix toys rorschach because I personally prefer 1/12 scale, it’s super good, I recommend it to watchmen fans, the Jackie Earle Haley likeness is fantastic, hat fits on the heads nice and snug, and the neck connector is a nice ball joint, small issue is the wrist pegs, sometimes they pop off on the right hand, but it’s very easy to reconnect them, so no big deal also the belt has metal wiring so it is flexible, definitely great for 1/12. I might purchase Soosoo toys Rorschach in the future, not too sure.
Preordered this way back in the Summer with high hopes. It blew my expectation away, it's basically perfect. I feel like this figure will appreciate and gain value over time even if it's unlicensed.

Overall great figure, but I do think it made the cardinal sin of not being compatible with its own accessories. Specifically the masked headsculpt wont attach to the neck peg since the socket on the neck is smaller than the ball used for the unmasked sculpt.
I really hope they do something similar for their version of Gambit's coat that they did hear. Flaking and peeling is one of the biggest things I worry about.
Hey Justin - just wondering - did you have any trouble putting the masked Rorschach heads on ? Have seen that the neck ball-joint hole is smaller/narrowe on them as opposed to the Hermann face sculpted head .....good to know ! Appreciated! 🍷😏

The third masked head you showed off was definitely my favorite as well, I believe it was ripped straight from the movie poster! More of these guys recently popped up on eBay, I may have to cave and pick one up!
SooSoo Toys just continues to get it done, don't they? Even Sideshow would have to acknowledge (begrudgingly). Great movie, Snyder also gets it done when others say it can't be done.
In another review someone mentions the hole in the (mask) heads was smaller then the peg and it was difficult to swap heads. Was your head holes smaller or all the same size?
@@JustinsCollection It is, I wouldn't have wasted my time asking if I haven't seen the hole diameter being a lot smaller for myself in said review. Where heating the sculpt up might not work on such a small hole.

How did you ever attach the masked version to the body. The hole on the masked heads is way smaller than the maskless version. Luckily I had an extra neck peg and with a little sanding down I made it fit.
Just curious why is it you sometimes bag hot toys for using the same base for there figures but soso toys always use the same base with a slight paint difference and you always seem happy with that
Because they're using the same BAD bases. The footprint base that was dumb the first time so they kept re-using it? SooSoo bases are simple, consistent with their entire line and work for each character.
Justin just a question I recently purchase reissue version of Rorschach when I change the head to mask version it doesn't fit I've checked the hole. The size of connection hole between real head and mask are different does this problem happen to original one?
I read that Batman's height is 6'2" with waight of 95 kg and Rorschach height was 5'7" ... And I really liked Ben Affleck as Batman .. he was tall big good ,,

Hot Toys, and every other manufacturer, take note of this. We are tired of pleather. Use plastic for belts and these kinds of materials for leather garments.
I can already tell you it’s an amazing figure. My good mate was able to give me one. It’s hands down one of my top 5 figures of 2022. And we’re just in February.
The golden era of Soosoo! That leather looking cloth should be used more often. It’s great not to have deterioration

Heat the head first, the connector portion is rubber that will conform to the shape of the neck peg. They tend to shrink in the packaging.
