- Golden Touch is a Tavern 5 spell that costs 5 gold. It's quite expensive but the possible outcome of it can make a huge difference. It makes a random minion in the Tavern golden. Sure, you can force the golden minion by buying the rest of the minions in shop but it's very expensive and not possible if you don't have a good economy. In my scenario, I was struggling with getting a proper build and decided to commit to Mechs knowing that it's not a great comp and probably won't win the game. However, I used golden Touch on a shop full of minions and it landed on a Brann. This was very lucky and also allowed me to pivot into a very strong board. Later comes a lot of APM and stats so I hope you enjoy watching it!

Liked a lot the subtitltes, english is not my first language, so sometimes it's really hard to understand some sentences, and the youtube subtitles are often innacurate, so it really helped, thx!

Like the idea of subtitles, but use the RUclips subtitles function instead so people can disable them, change them, upload their own language's or auto translate

Yo question, Did they change how blood gems work? I thought if they were applied in battle they were permanent but the last game I played all my guys would go from being in the hundreds down to base stats again.

@@TrollyUP super crazy that I've never noticed that. Also odd seeing as I've gone up against people with no BC triggers/recursion on their bg who still stack super hard. Super hard placebo effect on me I guess
@@HeckerBonker People often sell their generator capabilities in the later matches to ensure victory, makes it hard to see how well they were highrolling and how early.
But yea, any combat buff on board is temporary.

At 3:37, Jeef doesn't triple Malchezaar. Did he not notice or did he decide that paying 3 gold to discover a 6 drop was too expensive (or 4 gold, counting the fact that he loses a minion to sell)? I also find it interesting he immediately after that avoids Elise while having free refreshes.
seems like he wanted to level next turn anyway so no reason to commit to those cards if he can find 6's naturally :D

Not necessarily. Floating watcher is a low cap demon build. Buff shop and consume is a higher cap build but it usually requires beasts to be in or an early murkeye and brann
@@pjacefilmsIt takes way more setup for the eat build. Usually the card is watcher + cultist/Rivendare, maybe some divine shields.

I don't like the subtitle, I find it distracting. There is a subtitle feature already on RUclips and that's optional so do we really need these?
I personally dont like the auto generated subtitles, usually they are inaccurate, and I don't think these were that big so it was a nice addition
Gotcha, the plan is to have these manual subtitles uploaded into YT. This way the subtitles would stay accurate, you could turn it off and on. This will also allow people to use subtitles for other languages - Jeef Video Editor

as a non native english speaker your english is not too hard to understand and there's a youtube subtitle generator that works just fine (it's true it's not the most accurate sometimes but good enought) so adding this feature seems unnecesary

Jeef you’re a legend for having the student mindset when 6k players make snarky comments on RUclips.
You were pretty cognisent of your misplays as you made them (not buying shield for reaper, not selling Tethys earlier)
But what the armchair quarterbacks don’t understand is that you will inevitably make small mistakes when you’re doing high APM comps.
But in this game, you didn’t make any large mistakes and correctly transitioned from demons to mechs to pirates. Well done.
