I LOVE Tom and Jerry. Even have a stuffed version of them. Grew up on these cartoons. Love the older versions the most miss seeing them. Have 6 hr VHS tape I made of it. Wish they still ran older episodes. They were the best. Still a fan to this day. I'm 62. Kudos for making this video. 👍👍👍
I'm 50 and i loved watching Tom and Jerry when i was a kid
Once again you have hit on another one of my favorite cartoons. I would get upset a lot because it seemed like Jerry actually was meaner than Tom. He would do things to hurt Tom and Tom could never get any revenge on Jerry no matter what he did. Thank you once again Facts Verse for another great memory. Loved it! Our whole family used to watch Tom and Jerry. My mom didn’t speak and understand English very well but she got Tom and Jerry! Good times!
I never understood the bad feeling to mammy two shoes, I was just a kid. For me she was funny but it was not a negitive feeling, more like Neil Carter on give me a break. Funny just funny. No bad feeling attached. I only learned the bad after I was like 16. But when I watch them today it's still just that funny good feeling, nothing bad. That's the way they should come off.

Tom & Jerry. No one will get tired of this classic anime. Even tried to ban it for being violent in many countries and that wasn’t mentioned here. Two most adorable characters not for getting Spike and his nephew.

One of those classic cartoons that just timeless and one of my all time favorite childhood cartoon shows that the animation still holds up.
This cartoon series was also extremely popular in Russia during the mid-1990s. Pirated videos of the series were being sold in markets and on street corners everywhere.

Didn’t realize Tom and Jerry were that old. I thought maybe 60s. It was always one of my favorite cartoons and I wasn’t big on cartoons when i was a kid. So $50 for the one who come up with the name huh? Doesn’t sound like much now but thats over $900 in todays money....not bad.

I AM STILL A BIG FAN OF TOM AND JERRY
I have always wondered about the myth that has been told about the other tom and jerry a van Buren cartoon , where it seems that joe and bill worked at the van Buren studios, and wanted to use the name,
I always loved Tom and Jerry i did KIND OF feel bad for tom once in a while not being able to catch Jerry but that's the whole point of the show
FOOTNOTE: mammy two shoes isn't the maid , she's the homeowner!! Evidence? In many episodes mammy was shown to be living in this house without a employer anywhere in sight! In the episode SATURDAY EVENING CAT , she's dressing up in her own room that's obvious to big to be a maid's room , later on she relaxes in a couch and begins blasting swing music, something no maid be allowed to do !!!
P S ; in the first cartoon of the movie series, mammy two shoes calls Tom, jasper, despite the opening title says tom and jerry ! ! Jerry's name isn't said at all! !!
Odd how Whoopy disagrees with the mammy even existing in the cartoon but has no issue with the very vulgar and immoral rap artists who actually do harm to the young.

I remember the episode featured in fact #7. I knew #8, but I haven't seen any of the episodes from the 90's on. I also knew of the episode where, if you pause it in just the right spot, you can see Mammy Two-Shoes's face.

How about the Fact that during the 'Video Nasties' period in the UK activist Mary Whitehouse successfully lobbied for Tom & Jerry to be banned in the UK due to its depictions of violence. So for us kids in the UK in the 80s we had a period of a couple of years where we couldn't watch Tom & Jerry cartoons.

Chuck Jones made Tom do Wile E Coyote's schtick which is kinda ironic since the Coyote & Roadrunner started as a parody of cat & mouse cartoons
