@@intence. even if the sun expands that dosen't change the speed of the earth's spin if it does get that big then 1 none of us will be around to see it anyway 2 and unless something massive happens to speed up the earth's spin then it will still take about 24 hours to make 1 rotation on its access and 3 this has not to do with the spin and everything to do with the day/night system and the angles of the light coming from the sun and to get that from the almost 12 hour cycle we have now the sun would have to be touching the earth. PS Technically thinks to the tilt of the earth we already have 24 hours of sun a day on parts of the earth look at the Arctic Circle during the summer in the northern hemisphere it gets sun 24/7 for almost 6 months the same happens to Antarctica when it is winter up north so unless something massive happens to change the speed of the earth's spin it will remain stable it will always take the earth about 24 hours to do a full rotation on its across the angle of the sun and the tilt of the earth towards the sun and where you are on the earth have far more to do with how long or shorter the day is

This means that if a planet is spinning at a certain speed and the sun expands and moves closer to the planet that is spinning then the day and night cycle gets shorter and shorter each time ... This means each day becomes shorter and so does each night but at the same time days would be measured in every 90mins but it's probable that Mars or further out would be our new earth because earth would become to hot for humans unless we evolved

Has anybody noticed the serious errors made in this video? For example....how do you dissolve all the oceans. That’s an impossible task. If the earth rotation is slowing down, in several hundred million years a day should last not 90 minutes but maybe 90 hours or the equivalent of 4 whole days. Millions of tons of gold on the bottom of the seas....then he goes on in his explanation to describe it’ as being all desolved in the water but shows a pan full of gravel.
