Hi, is it possible to only replace the soundcard/audio amp(?) (I do have the tools for such an operation) or you have to replace the entire motherboard? I did some experiments with an audio amp and some speakers (apparently something shorted and it sent 13V/ 0.400A directly to my headphones jack) and it ended in my phone entering in protection and shutting down; after I started it again my right headphone channel stopped working. I'm assuming the phone audio amp was damaged.
I have HTC 816 mobile but the screen broken, now someone have HTC 820 but his motherboard is not working, i was thinking about buying his phone and put my HTC 816 motherboard on it to make benefit of the working screen. do you get me now ?
