Philly is over 100 miles away, this facility didn't "take" any jobs from anyone there. If people lose their job to a robot, they might want to consider upgrading their skills. It's not that hard.
@@timberline1487they it did ,the company want robots to do the jobs ,they shutdown sorts in two Philly area and sent work there .I work there and they about to take more work
@@Mckenzaythe idea is to basically send preload work straight to the buildings instead of other buildings to unload, sort and send the work out. They are going to shut down the Island City Night sort in 2024. Our building might close the night sort in 2 yours. Maybe sooner. Were on Long Island and it's a way to send less trailers to long Island and save on tolls too. For us it's more because of Bayonne NJ but, same idea for other biildings
