I don’t have the band on my back molars, instead I have this weird looking bracket that the wire goes into and holds it in place, what’s the difference with the two? Is one better than the other?
The brackets are better than the band. The band gave me big cavities that needed root canal so my new ortho put breckets better because they are more hygienic.

Yes and yes! -Roughly how long does the process take? Getting your braces takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour! -anything i should do before the appointment? Well just eat all your favorite foods because after you get your braces there are some foods you are going to have to avoid. -advice for the few hours after getting my braces on? You can take some Advil or Tylenol after you appointment and soft cold foods. -Any foods that i can eat after my appointment? Mostly soft foods like ice cream, mashed potatoes, soups Thanks for the love and support to our channel!
My orthodontist said I might get my appliance off next apt and I really hope I can get it off I’m tired of the elastics and I’m ready for the braces part hahaha

Hi! I have a question about an upper orthodontic expander. I'm getting my braces this week and my orthodontist said I will need an expander to make my tooth line wider... I'm a little scared about this, especially: is it hard to talk with it? I mean if I will talk slurredly while having it in my mouth 😂 And sorry for my English if I wrote somenthing wrong but I'm not fluent in it haha

@@kimanam3477 Thanks for the kind words, I got my braces off a little over a week ago and it went fine! ^^ My orthodontist did file down my front/top teeth a bit, which was kind of surprising/uncomfortable since he just said "I'm going to polish your teeth now". lol

Yep, you are awake, it didn't hurt at all for me, though! Don't worry, your teeth will most likely be a bit sore after you get them on, but it's really not that bad :)

i’ve heard the directly bonded brackets are newer than the bands however the bands are a bit stronger
I have those too they just hold the wire in place I think
