@Nikolai_The_Crazed if you request paper documents from your employer they are legally obligated reguardless of portal access. They also can not require you to go to an unsecured network such as mcdonalds or public library to access your protected information to print them off.
You can still report 1099 income under Section C of the standard 1040 tax form, even if the employer never gives you the document. However, as others have said, you need to also report the employer to the IRS.

While in the featured condo HOA story the owners eventually triumphed, and got away with much reduced repair costs (and I wouldn't be surprised if the people in charge had seen an opportunity to overcharge people in the aftermath of the shock to pocket money), IIRC the main issue which led to the collapse of the Champlain Towers South condominium was that the HOA fees were chronically too low to build up a reserve for any truly major repairs and that's all there was. So once the combination of poor construction and harsh sea weather really begun to show on the building, and the true extent of the required repairs begun to rear its ugly head, the condo owners and the HOA (which was also made out of the owners) squabbled and squabbled over the huge cost for years until the building literally collapsed on them from neglect.
The cause of the Champlain Towers collapse is still being investigated but recent evidence is pointing to shoddy construction and maybe no amount of repairs could have salvaged the towers but it is true that when engineering firms recommended repairs they were too expensive to have been covered by normal reserves (which are normally somewhat underfunded) and the board either didn't want to bring up special assessments to fund repairs or they were voted down). Nevertheless, I think the whole story sounds suspect because in most states condominiums are required by law to have a board made up of owners of units in the condominium. @@Sheila3444 Exactly. If she had dead, 100% blind eyes (rather than legally blind but nominally sighted) how did she know that Karen showed her right leg?
Yeah that Karen just tried to steal a federally protected medical device which if I recall is a minimum 3-5 year federal prison sentence in the usa(service animals are under the medical aid laws like a oxygen tank or pacemaker so as to prevent people from harming, touching or interfering with them and causing the fines and penalties for assaulting or removing the animal from said blind person in this instance. Incase people are confused as to how a legally blind person can see a leg for example. Legally blind doesn’t mean totally blind(dead eyes blind in some cases). Blindness is a scale and can have different versions of blindness. For example a person can see the outside world as hazey and super bright with blurry patches that could be something or someone right in front of them but they can only make out rough estimates of the person or thing they are looking at like they may be able to notice a bright light outline of someone having a wide stance due to the outside light being brighter then the person’s body in contrast which is why some people with this blindness wear sunglasses or fully tented glasses like fully 100% blind people to protect what little vision is left. Another example is if someone has spotty vision covering say 70-80% of their vision then they are legally blind even if they have moderate to low vision in the areas that they don’t have the spots covering. A bonus tip for people is blind people have different styles of canes that have different stripe patterns or colors in some parts of the world that denote their vision impairment percentage or type of vision lose.
I tried looking into it, and in Washington state, it looks like stealing a service dog is considered theft in the first degree. This has a risk of facing a max of 10 years in prison and a fine up to $20,000 USD. RWC 9.91.170 is where I got the theft in the first degree from. Honestly, I find trying to read through this is a bit of a pain.

But there are HOAs that also do the opposite, and then they are SOL when there are big expenses. Also, they may not be paying for general upkeep like they should. I am thinking of all the HOA and building issues with Surfside (building collapsed in 2021). They didn't have the reserves they should have and the building was in horrible repair. The sister building had a better HOA, and the building is in better condition.
4:51 the name of the crime is “conversion”. You pay X money for Y product but you get Z that is different and fails to meet X value or function. Ex: you buy a car, and they deliver a trolley.
First story: As soon as I heard “in talk with lawyers” I was so happy. Too many stories are just “HOA send me fines but I’m not a member so I ignored it” and that can land you in serious issues since it means the HOA may be in good faith with their actions since you never informed them of the mistake. Always tell people “hey, I’m not part of your association, stop sending me fines” and if they make it hard then send it in email form. As long as you do that they can’t deny knowing you’re not a member.
Unfortunately because of the bite, Jack will at least have to go for a behavioral assessment and additional training, if not being washed altogether. Being protective and biting are not allowed under the ADA (this is assuming this happened in the US).
Nobody would ever humor such nonsense or agree to be proven that a person is blind. If they actually theyd be in for extreme self sabotage. Edit: i doubt a service dog would actually bite especially with just being taken control of another, especially a seeing eye dog lol.
Why... why are some people so hung up about other people being disabled? And why are they attacking blind people? For no reason!? I am autistic and I wear glasses. It affects nobody but me and yet my carrier refuses to cover my new glasses. I know it's not the same as being blind but I am literally a liabilty for the outside world if I don't have my glasses. But I think that story was probably from America. Or at least I have never seen a karen like that in my part of Germany. People can be so weird.
If a person brags that they make that much money they're obviously doing something illegal. I will definitely be after the first month of taking that kind of abuse calling the better Business bureau as well as the labor board about his practices because there's something shady going on there.
2nd story: She doesn't need to pretend to be blind to take her dog into the store. All she has to do is claim that it's an emotional support animal. However, none are so blind as those who refuse to see.😎
Also Emotional Support Animals can be kicked out of a store... in fact they should be kicked out. "Emotional Support" animals are just pets that people are being Karens about. They aren't specially trained, so they shouldn't be allowed to be anywhere like actual Service Animals.
No such thing as an honest HOA, wasn't the hoa supposed to be making repairs out of the fees paid monthly? Dont they have to give hard copies of everything and anything?
For the blind story, im not entirely sure i believe it for a single fact. How the hell did she know the woman was showing her leg, much less her right one? I know there are multiple types of blindness, but most of them would either not see the leg or not be able to reliability tell what leg it was.
The first story highlights the problem very well: What is the difference between a Building Management and a H.O.A? One is employed directly by you, with clear termination clauses and job descriptions. The other is a third party organization that promises to do everything for you.... The very concept of a Home Owners Association is debunked when you realize you can get the same results without the expensive third party and their overhead. Without having some sort of clause that makes it possible for this third party to 'fine' your bank account and foreclose on your property. The people asking for you to give over all of that control do not have your best interests in mind.... Hire someone directly, not a HOA.

The contractor flipping properties: In the US, which I assume because the use of 1099 forms, you would contact the IRS for him not giving the form. It is a crime for a company to not give a 1099 for payments of more than $600 a year, with all payments in the year combined to make that $600.
My friend and I were unemployed he stopped by a home builders offices and walked out with jobs.we were to put up the house frames. My friend must've done some real talking.
Most HOA's are benevolent organizations and actually do good things. You almost never hear about the good ones. They organize the neighborhood to keep common areas like the central clubhouse, pool or building maintained. When entitled, narcissistic, OCD, greedy, stubborn, criminal, A-hats get to be in charge then there are problems. Basically the complaints are louder than the praises.
I'm sorry all HOA's are evil. Unless I am doing something illegal it is none of anyone else's concern what someone else does with their property. HOA's have racist origins and while its illegal to do it now they are still de facto racist and they intentionally will do everything in their power to keep minorities out of their neighborhood. It's not hard to petition a city to get a pool, club, rec area built cause it brings in more tax revenue plus its something that attracts businesses. Everything is done under the guise of property values but in the end its really about control.
Story #1 Doesn’t sound like it’s an HOA but a Co-op where the residents jointly own the building. Beyond even maintenance any structural repairs are jointly their responsibility. There is a Co-op board made up of the residents and chosen by election. However administration, repairs and services are run by a hired management company. If there are a need for major uninsured repairs then each resident is required to contribute a portion of an assessment which is dictated by the terms of the property closing papers. Should the repairs be so massive that it is beyond the means of the resident, then they would obtain a mortgage, increase their current mortgage or sell their unit, possibly at a loss. If this story is true (and I have become leery of these fantastic anti HOA stories) then the members of the board are failing because they are entitled to an annual report from the management company including, financial status, repairs both inside a residential unit and outside, contractor agreements and any other matter a normal homeowner would be entitled to know. Also the residents are at fault for not insisting on annual meetings with the board and management company which in most US states is required. In the end, assuming the story is true, it sounds like a series of neglectful over site by member/owners and the board plus outright larceny by the management company. By the way, sometimes the management company is either owned by the builder/developer or a friend or relatives company of the developer. On new or refurbished structures, the builder can only exercise control for a limited period of time or until a majority of the units have been sold. A lot of older apartment buildings in large cities, I.e., New York were being converted into co-ops starting in the 1970’s. This had the advantage of gentrification of some neighborhoods.
greed could be your demise. wel sed, cause i am wondering if OP from that story will even have time for his son now. 60 houses in 1 year is allot of work.
In other words, you expect them to pay for your incompetent. I would want to know where all that money that they're supposed to be to keep up their maintenance. No I would not want to pay all this money.
Story 1: No sympathy for the condo owners. They were just too lazy to monitor what the HOA was doing with their money and that necessary maintenance was being done.

A bonus tip for people is blind people have different styles of canes that have different stripe patterns or colors in some parts of the world that denote their vision impairment percentage or type of vision lose.
Glad we got a vid. I was sad when I couldn’t watch the army wife one
I was half way through that one when it was gone
I tried looking into it, and in Washington state, it looks like stealing a service dog is considered theft in the first degree. This has a risk of facing a max of 10 years in prison and a fine up to $20,000 USD.
RWC 9.91.170 is where I got the theft in the first degree from. Honestly, I find trying to read through this is a bit of a pain.
I would gladly go as far as necessary to get away from HOA's. Luckily, these dictatorships are largely confined to pricey new developments far out in the suburbs in my city. Great stories, Ripe.

„After hearing about OP's success in both our company and his, I would like to personally ask him a question in front of the whole team.“ (My heart pounding in my throat as each word sounded slower than the last.) - „Will you marry me?“
Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought of this 🤣
That last story is so heart warming.
I remember a story where the blind person in the story toke out their eyeballs.
Karen: I'm allergic to dogs keep that away from me Also Karen: I'm gonna steal the dog
Yes, Karens seem to have a strange relationship with both consistency and the truth.
I think Karen was the liar, claiming to be allergic to dogs just so she can complain. Hey, I'm allergic to Karens and cheap perfume, YOU get out!
I've been saying for a long time, when an HOA is fine or fee happy, consider the board is misappropriation of funds.
@@tiffanysandmeier4753 No amount of money will stop entropy, just delay it for a few years.
4:51 the name of the crime is “conversion”. You pay X money for Y product but you get Z that is different and fails to meet X value or function. Ex: you buy a car, and they deliver a trolley.
First story:
As soon as I heard “in talk with lawyers” I was so happy.
The doggo is such a good puppo
That last story was awesome. and pleas give floofy princess Disnii extra loves.
I am glad in the second story… Karen was allergic to dogs… 🐶 Allergic enough to steal it! Crazy people! 😂😂😂😂
Unfortunately because of the bite, Jack will at least have to go for a behavioral assessment and additional training, if not being washed altogether. Being protective and biting are not allowed under the ADA (this is assuming this happened in the US).
That last story never gets old. I love that one
Nobody would ever humor such nonsense or agree to be proven that a person is blind. If they actually theyd be in for extreme self sabotage.
Edit: i doubt a service dog would actually bite especially with just being taken control of another, especially a seeing eye dog lol.
Howdy Hi again Ripe & Disnii,, today is a great day, Two for 1 story day,, Woo Hoo,,😻😻😻😻🌟🌟🌟🌟
Why... why are some people so hung up about other people being disabled?
I hope OP took Jack to the Vet the moment she got out of the Mall...
Who knows if Karen has had all her shots...
😄😁😆😅😂🤣
♾🌟s and 😻🤗s for Ripe, JB and Disney!
2nd story: She doesn't need to pretend to be blind to take her dog into the store. All she has to do is claim that it's an emotional support animal. However, none are so blind as those who refuse to see.😎
Actually, from a google search, Emotional Support Animals aren't considered service animals.
Also I don't think the Karen knows there's degrees of blindness. You don't have to be 100% unable to see to be considered legally blind.
Also Emotional Support Animals can be kicked out of a store... in fact they should be kicked out. "Emotional Support" animals are just pets that people are being Karens about. They aren't specially trained, so they shouldn't be allowed to be anywhere like actual Service Animals.
Blind means youu can't see. Not that you cant feel
Story #1 "A building went down." Would this happen to be in Florida?
No such thing as an honest HOA, wasn't the hoa supposed to be making repairs out of the fees paid monthly? Dont they have to give hard copies of everything and anything?
For the blind story, im not entirely sure i believe it for a single fact. How the hell did she know the woman was showing her leg, much less her right one? I know there are multiple types of blindness, but most of them would either not see the leg or not be able to reliability tell what leg it was.
Karen probably said 'Here's my leg'
Wow just wow
💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫thanks again for my daily dose of HOA stories Ripe!
It sounds likee the same thing is happening to the Millennium Tower in San Francisco.
Ripe spoiled us a lot when he uploads 2 videos in a day you drop this 👑
The first story highlights the problem very well:
What is the difference between a Building Management and a H.O.A?
One is employed directly by you, with clear termination clauses and job descriptions.
The other is a third party organization that promises to do everything for you....
The very concept of a Home Owners Association is debunked when you realize you can get the same results without the expensive third party and their overhead. Without having some sort of clause that makes it possible for this third party to 'fine' your bank account and foreclose on your property. The people asking for you to give over all of that control do not have your best interests in mind....
Hire someone directly, not a HOA.
Awesome. I was there at just the right time to get two videos tonight. But I can't stop wondering about the army-wife-who-pulled-a-gun story
That’ll come at a later date 😁
It's a problem with the management company the membership hired.
It should be law that any member has the right to demand an audit on any HOA at any time.
@25:06 I can hear your little one meow. ❤
Ripe, I attempted wo watch the video about the army wife trying to take over someone's new house, but it said that the video is private. I am a patreon subscriber. Is this a glitch?
I think the video was deleted, I didn't get to that part unfortunately
it might be that the video was messed up either in edditing or the tittle. it was no army wife in the video when i watched it but a treelaw storry instead.
I deleted the other video because I put in the wrong title story. Idk what happened there while editing lol
@@RipeStories I understand. Thank you for replying.
Story #2: That's it, karen, you've got too much TV. No more TV for you!
The contractor flipping properties: In the US, which I assume because the use of 1099 forms, you would contact the IRS for him not giving the form. It is a crime for a company to not give a 1099 for payments of more than $600 a year, with all payments in the year combined to make that $600.
Contractor story heard before. It an oldie but a goodie.
Ripe narratives very well.
My friend and I were unemployed he stopped by a home builders offices and walked out with jobs.we were to put up the house frames. My friend must've done some real talking.
😎👍
Big thumbs up for the channel...
An HOA for a condo tower is weird. There is little to no exterior maintenance and definitely no community info-structure.
I hated when my parents asked me what I’d done wrong! I was always thinking which thing? 😉
Great job ripe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It was a good video. Will watch it again 😊
First one Florida Surfside, because of the collapse.
The first story might be in miami florida ever since that condo collapsed
sotry one they are very lucky they got rid of there HOA given what happned with surfside down in florida
Last story: given that it was 2019, did the company (and OP) survive the pandemic, lockdown, etc...?
I never get why shops give customers free money when it's another customers bad behaviour at fault
greed could be your demise.
wel sed, cause i am wondering if OP from that story will even have time for his son now.
60 houses in 1 year is allot of work.
You don’t have to completely lose your eyesight to be declared legally blind.
Karen just wanted to be right and exert power.
In other words, you expect them to pay for your incompetent. I would want to know where all that money that they're supposed to be to keep up their maintenance. No I would not want to pay all this money.
⭐️🌟❤️Ripe Hype❤️🌟⭐️
⭐️🌟❤️Disnii Love❤️🌟⭐️
Yeh the condo owner is taking the piss it’s all going in Karen’s pocket there’s no way in hell every condo needs 32 million dollars worth of repairs
For the blind story, why wasn't _KAREN_ not having an allergic reaction if she was allergic to dogs? 🤔

Story 1: No sympathy for the condo owners. They were just too lazy to monitor what the HOA was doing with their money and that necessary maintenance was being done.
