- I shaved off my natural hair 2 months ago, so right now it is super short! It is possible to box braid short hair, just so long as the braids are small enough.

The lady who braided my TWA used this method and my braids are so secure. I was so worried about the pain and braids falling off but amazingly, they're so secure and will last a good 2 months.
How I wish you could really do this to my short hair. Ever since I shaved it all of it has grown to about your length but everywhere I go they say it's too short. They should really watch this😢
I’m 2 months post big chop and everyone keeps telling me my hair is too short. I too had a fade when I big chopped so I am beyond inspired rn. I just need the time and patience to do it on my own.

I'm literally sitting in my living room taking out a bout 20 braids I started yesterday on my twa....my hair length is the same as yours but there's no way I can finish braiding tonight for work tomorrow so I'll have to revisit. Thanks for the inspiration

Six months post bald, going to try this again. I like the way you split up the days. I don't normally do that. Try to get it done in two days. Which now I see isn't the way to go. I'll give myself a week. To start and finish them.

@@AidaKiraya yes! I finished today. had alot of braids like you. Mine is just slightly bigger. It took me four days. It felt like forever.. draining but worth it. Now I don't have to style my hair every week,it's convenient.

It went good. I did them much bigger but I got lots of compliments on them and I loved them. Next time I’ll do them this size though because they only lasted me a couple weeks.

I can't ever get my finger placement right for the two pieces of hair
They never really show exactly how they place it, they just show us the criscrossing of the 2 pieces of hair then they start plaiting

I really regret cutting off my dreads, it’s been 10 months and I’ve only grown back 4 inches of hair it’s honestly torture !

HELL NAHH! That’s sooo much,like I ain’t got that amount of time on my hands seeing as my mom calls me every 10mins to do something in the kitchen.it won’t have taken me 30 hrs,it would’ve been a week and then some.that looks great,like a professional hair dresser did it

Hi what is that hair dividing and braiding method called?? My method was to use one piece and fold it in the middle as two pieces that braid. But now my hair is too short so I’m trying to figure out your method, and find a video with a close up with the technique. Thank you for your video your hair looks amazing before and after ^.^

Did any slide out and how long did you keep them in? My hair is about this length and even when it was longer, I still had major slippage. I think on this short, even if i touch a braid, it will just slide out since not much of my own hair in each braid
I had a couple slide out, not loads. And I only tend to keep my braids in for a week (I get bored really quickly), I kept these in for two weeks.
Yes I wanna know too. Mine slide a lot so I have remake them every once in a while
Question! Any hair that isn't pre feathered is usually rough when used. The one you used isn't pre feathered, so I wanna know if u trimmed the hair to make it neater?

this is how i do when I braid my hair. however since I went natural a couple of years ago I havent braided my hair. A couple of mnths ago I cut my hair into a taperd cut and dyed it. I have been thinking about braiding it but it took forever when I had a lot of hair so now Im scared that it will take even longer. My friends use to make fun of me because I would have to take vacation because it would take so long.

@@soloone5900I big chopped 2mos ago and my hair was slightly longer than hers and I was able to get it braided. My hair didn't break off after taking them out either.
