Its an extra step, but before braiding I soak my synthetic hair (still with the rubber bands on it so it won't get tangled) in ACV and water, rinse it, then let it drip dry. You'll see all of the chemicals that irritate our scalps literally bubble and lift up off of the hair. Gross lol. But since I've started pre-treating the hair, I've had zero scalp issues. Beautiful job on your braids!!
I keep saying imma grow my hair back out but i keep shaving it off. In two weeks im gonna put these in so i dont shave it again LMFAO. I mean im gonna pray on it at least you out here catching my hopes and dreams. All i can do is pray mine come out like this 😭😭😭 might wait for more hair to grow in if i can

Oil the roots now black castor oil mix with tea tree,peppermint and rosemary keep your hair moisturized with braid spray,try keep the braids for three months,if they get fuzzy use foam to lay down frizz,your hair will grow like crazy

Thank you, thank you Sis I so appreciate you sharing. Wow wow yes Sulphur 8. Takes me back to the 70s we used to keep our haircut short for small individual braids. This way no fuzz thru braids with your natural hair running thru your braids. If we didn't cut our hair we had our hair braided to the length of our natural hair or curled, crimped, beaded, etc. We would sit for hours hanging out coming back the next day etc. Depending on time and schedules. No one hairstyle since everybody's hair is different. I'm rambling but I love your attention to your hair and scalp ...awesome job. Beautiful 👑 Queen
