I always like the way you are so candid and honest about your photography. When you said “I got bored” when creating the fine art image 😂 I think we have all been there at times, though it was still a lovely image processed as it was.
I find I can loose interest in things in a split second. It's usually the result of trying things and them just not working: stopping at that point avoid the swift arrival of frustration! Often, just over-thinking something can have dramatic effects on something - usually negative - and that's true of images too.
early morning light simply can't be bettered - so much softer than sunset. i really struggle with severe pain and nausea/sickness in the mornings now. i just can't seem to get out :-( i find on wet sand really ramming the tripod in repeatedly over 2 or 3 waves will eventually anchor it securely enough for a long exposure. just remember to thoroughly clean it later!
Very enjoyable, Andrew. Your video envokes a great feeling of being with you on that beautiful beach. Splendid photos as usual, especially the last one.
Great video and narrative, I like the way you explain, what you see and why you are taking the images. Fully understand regarding 'fine art' watched Gary Goughs video from Happisburgh, though I somewhat appreciate the end result, the process?, I am not sure is for me!
For sure, the process for "fine art" (whatever that means as I have never heard a convincing explanation), can be laborious. It helps a lot if you create the image in camera with that in mind to start with as you can simplify things early on.
Another great video Andy, I'm thinking about coming up that way again first weekend of Nov, if you're around maybe we could meet up? Take care mate. Steve
Very nice shots. I would likely have spent an hour or more on my stomach at the slatted seawall with the stones trapped between the slats searching for macro scenes, both skyward and seaward. I would pop by to attempt this, but google says it's about 4800 miles to my NE. Good stuff.
I'm with you Andrew. I'm often up before dawn but then there's coffee...
I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew in Witton Woods - nice start to the day.
Good to meet you too, John. Nice chat. Thanks.
Great video. Interesting.
you always something of interest/different to provoke thoughts
10:52 B+W : now that is good!
That shot definitely looks better without the block, excellent video Andy.
Thanks, John.
I am torn on that block now though. Perhaps it helps fill an empty space.
Great video and great photos as always. Definitely prefer the photo without the block 😊
Awesome, thank you! The block might split opinions.

Ah yes over thinking. Something my brain decides to do all too often.

Cleaning? What's that? Must be one of those other things I forget to do.
Sorry to hear of your increasing difficulties, Nick. Nobody deserves this.
nice images and I like your processing style as well as the "feel" of your videoing and commentary. glad I found you!
Thank you.

Nice video and beautiful photos, I like to photograph more often in the same location, especially at different times of the year 😉thanks for sharing👍
Thank you
I really enjoyed the mono version of the stump. Wonderful video and take care. 👍😎
Thank you.
Nice captures, Andy! Thanks for taking us along!
Thanks. Hope you are well.
Hi, Andrew.
I really like the video.
The results are very pretty, especially the black-and-white versions.
Take care.
Antoine.
You're always drawn to the mono images.
Be well, Antoine.
Andy
@@AndyBanner, it's just because I like black and white more than color.
But I am trying color now too, my friend.
From what I recall seeing of your still life work, you're very good at both.
@@AndyBanner Thanks I really appreciate this.

Let me know your plans a day or so in advance, Steve.

If you put some decent shoes on, John, you could be here for Christmas.... :-)
Thanks for your kind words and support.
Sorry for the late watch. Been driving for work all day
I am not timing you, Eric :-)
Grateful for your regular support
Nice reference to Maggie May 😅
Most people don't laugh at all of my jokes.... :-)

I am so "unhip" that I had to ask ChatGPT what "based" means....
So, assuming you're using the more modern understanding of it, thank you. :-)
