What he is saying is true but like all things it varies by area and state. In my state it matters greatly on what county it's in. In my area it doesn't matter if it's in a park or land they are spendy. Still about half the cost of a house. But even in parks a $6,000 double wide in 2006 is now $100,000. And that's in a park and not on concrete. Built in 72.

Anchor down to concrete to withstand high speed winds and order the storm shelter as a backup in case it’s an F5 and you should be in good shape! We had a tornado hit Drumwright Oklahoma and most the older homes were leveled. The irony was the news channel did an interview and the two mobile homes in the interview behind the residents were in good shape.

It's hard to believe but true. I bought my in 2020 for $40,062 and it's already value at $79,000 and it's a 1984 model. Of course I live in a cheaper area, then where you're at.

if you paid that for a modular home. it was because. you are into selling modular homes for business. or perhaps the real value was where the land was located.

In my area a manufactured home is about 25% the cost of a house with the same square footage. But houses start at $800,000.
