- Aladdin is my boy and they buffed him. I can understand why people don't gel with his playstyle but personally it is my favorite and now it's even better.

I love broken builds. If you do wanna post more runs with less editing. At least in-between your more edited and in-depth videos I would watch them all.
Thanks for the support! I'll normally edit like this to try and save some time but when I do challenge runs I normally show the whole build so should have a good mix of both
It was entertaining as hell, and disgusting. This was probably one of the best Alladin showcases haha. SHEESH. I almost wished you would have picked Hope Diamond as well, but doesn't even seem needed.

You'd only do 1 damage per hit but you'd be built like a Honey Badger.

hey man, love your videos - I'm sure you're gonna get a ton more love from new players trying out the game! I just won my first run after watching your how to play aladdin guide along with how to efficiently clear the map. It's insane how big a difference it made, the act 3 boss never stood a chance. Keep up the good work !

I played first time in months yesterday, to check out 1.0, and made it to Arthur. I failed because they destroyed the three. Meanwhile, you're 2-shoting him in under a second. My man trivialized the entire game lol

@@matijatrajkovic6496 Haha thank you! Glad the vids are helpful, pathing is probably the biggest learning hurdle in the game and once you get it I feel like the game becomes a lot more enjoyable

Thanks so much for teaching me about the glory of The Boi. Yesterday I had my first Nightmare Baba Yaga kill, and while my (similar) build wasn't as broken as yours by far, it still felt really comfortable. I think it was my first time reaching lvl 9 in c2 in Nightmare. All thanks to your videos.

i grinded aladin a bit when the game wasnt out, thinking that there is more to that character :D the dash attack alone into defence, into the dagget, everything feel soo smooth and fluid i love this character :D

Aladdin when everything is working is the smoothest character in the game, so fun to play. Geppetto is good but almost the complete opposite of Aladdin, gotta sloooow down with the old man haha

Holy smokes, this damage is insane. I enjoy aladdin most of all, but im only rank 5. Is it possible some of those upgrades only unlock when he's higher level or so? I've never seen master thief for example so far.
Also, would you say you can also play aladdin strongly speccing into special or power or is this attack build by far the best?
You unlock talents as you level up. I can't recall which levels had which talents but master thief is level 7 / 8 if I recall correctly. Level 9 is the max and unlocks the second upgrade to ultimates. (Hopefully this isn't considered a spoiler since the game's book also says unlocks at # )
@@GraysGx5000 yeah just gotta level the character up to get them all, I’m not sure of the order as I had the game in early access and have everything unlocked. And I don’t really recommend building into his special, doesn’t do that much damage. His power build is really strong with the talent swordjinn but it takes some getting use to, attack build is my favorite though

I've been really watching hungry grass the last couple of days, every single time I got it after a death (at any point before picking it up) it worked retroactively, and every other time it wasn't. So that seems conclusive enough to me.
Ohh that's interesting, do you know if it was retroactive from all the orbs after the death or all orbs during the run? But that's super useful knowledge to know it it is worth taking late game, huge find
@@positive4ce that is something I'd really have to go through a vod to count 😂. I'm pretty sure it was only all orbs since death as that is how I can imagine the code would begin counting. Most recently was a carmilla game which was a super early death and it gave me around 30dmg in chapter 2 when I grabbed it

Man I'm pretty sure hungry grass was never intended to work retroactively. First that would be written in the description, and second that would be pretty broken. That would make it a 100% take at the end of the game. Plus if you think about it, the object would become quite boring, all the fun of it is slowly accumulating your attack points through healing orbs during your run, getting everything at once would be much less interesting.
So I'm quite confident you can stop asking if it's retroactive or not ^^ (In this run, when you took hungry grass you had attack points because of Excalibur, not because of hungry grass)
@@TMironneau oooh gotcha, someone commented saying that it seems to be retroactive if you have died at any point in the run but if you haven’t died then it’ll stack from picking it up. Completely agree though, I think it is meant to work like philosophers stone and be a good early game item

@@openone3183 yeah I think when it does trigger retro it's a bug, and I'm so oblivious sometimes when I record haha, brain is just thinking about too many things
