Body check used to be way different. I think back in the day, it scaled in damage based on your armor value? So it worked with the double up talent to give you a bigger burst of damage by having a huge amount of armor
I remember that. It was all I did playing as Hammer. I'm kinda glad they can't be destroyed anymore until the whole fort comes down. That was a good change even if you can't harass them anymore
The number of times I watch Pally videos and, regardless of how enjoyable they are (very, I love the HotS vids) the Number. Of Times. I am screaming "PICK YOUR DAMN TALENT, PALLY!!" is next level :'D
This is the only map where I choose a different level 4 talent. I don't remember what it's called but it gives you a W reset if you kill an enemy unit with it. It's awesome for flying through the shrine monsters. That being said I feel like pally could definitely work on w'ing more during his trades on Garrosh
I think conditions like heal and damage reduction are very undervalued because of how it makes people misjudge fights. I've noticed if people are attacking a low health target and you reduce their damage they tend to stay way longer than they should, presumably because the que to leave they were planning on was the target dying, not the length of time that ought to make them die.
I think the simple truth is that the level 20 upgrade is very specific for it to be useful, it increases the heal reduction and adds another charge, but not like that stacks on the same enemy. Although, this game might be the one were its good, funnily enough.
That was, indeed, a damage Muradin. Also, D.Va should have swapped places with you during most of that game. Clearing lanes should never be the warchief job.
Just a observation, you usually had a lot of uses of bodycheck leftover that could have been weaved in, since you have 2 baseline. For example every time leoric creepy hand was on you, it could have reduced his sustain a lot and in many situations, just slowing someone would have been the setup needed to get a kill.
One pretty big factor for the 20 upgrade being picked so much less is that not every game makes it to 20 in the first place. Then you have the issue where the level 1 is pretty much fine for what it is and doesn't really need the upgrade.
This series may have changed my mind on Garrosh. He left a bad taste in my mouth because of how busted his kit was on release, but he seems much more reigned in nowadays
You can drag the activatible talents around on the upper toolbar, right? So you could still use muscle memory on 2 for Undomitable after swapping it for Body Check, I think.
why is Pally talking about Double Up working against a Pyroblast? Armor does not reduce spell damage, no? That's what Spell armor is for, right? or did I get that wrong?
Any chance of you doing a deep dive on Thrall? I know youve previously said he hasnt been a character that has really clicked with you. But i feel that if you take the time youd really like him as a poking diving bruiser
I was going to say that the fact you didn't go for the talent that gives you W cooldown on hero hit is just sad. W build is just necessary if you're going to be melee so much.
28:57 why tf would you even consider throwing a muradin which 100% has his jump? He will just jump out. Meanwhile you dont see valla on the minimap so there is a very big likelyhood she will follow her team (aka her tank muradin) Instead of throwing their tanks and bruisers you need to focus on throwing their squishy heroes. All you had to do is keep standing in the bush wait for valla. First taunt her so she cant press any buttons then immediately throw her in and she dies. since she is taunted for 2 seconds. Then again i dont expect a high level bronze player to understand this. Pally you suck
Last time I was this early Garrosh threw me into enemy forts
Body check used to be way different.

Over 1k healing prevented on that Leoric, nice.
Also, I love in the quiet moments you can hear the cheers and gasps when El Jefe uses his abilities.
remember when you could destroy the sippy cups?
I remember that. It was all I did playing as Hammer. I'm kinda glad they can't be destroyed anymore until the whole fort comes down. That was a good change even if you can't harass them anymore
It's one of the best mechanical changes they ever did along with removing tower/fort ammo.
Ah yes, throw spiders and zombie wall on the cup instead of going to lane and watch your opponent fold :D
Yea it was so boring. People making entire comps to destroy shit while also never fighting or playing the game
I remember playing the slug a lot when towers only had so much ammo and could run out
The number of times I watch Pally videos and, regardless of how enjoyable they are (very, I love the HotS vids) the Number. Of Times. I am screaming "PICK YOUR DAMN TALENT, PALLY!!" is next level :'D
That haymaker kill on genji was glorious.
This talent alone makes me imagine how more versatile some characters could be.

Always a treat to see a 30+ minute Hots video from Pally.
i. i never realised garrosh's skin has a folding chair for an axe.
He is a wrestler using a solid steel chair as a weapon!
Pally i love your Hots Videos.
I stopef playing hots years ago, but watching your gameplay and hearing your wonderful voice/commentary is so nice.
23:55 - Siege of Orgrimmar MoP, minions=players ticking Garrosh down be like.

Pally raging for missed ability then face checking valla lol
Boy this brought back memories from that one old video called "Brightwing ACTIVATE!"
I think the simple truth is that the level 20 upgrade is very specific for it to be useful, it increases the heal reduction and adds another charge, but not like that stacks on the same enemy. Although, this game might be the one were its good, funnily enough.

Agreed. Garrosh probably has one of the worst lane-clears in the game, especially that build. Leaving him to defend was just irresponsible
Xul has something similar. His LV 1 talents grant him a shield that you can then upgrade at LV 7 and 20 if I remember correctly.
Just a observation, you usually had a lot of uses of bodycheck leftover that could have been weaved in, since you have 2 baseline. Nasty wombo combo
Garish throws enemy towards allies
Malfurion roots them
Tassadar walls enemy’s allies away
All these years later, and we're still signing checks with butts.
The main problem with double up is it's armor, not spell armor. So leoric tickle and Guldan abilities aren't reduced by it.
Pretty sure you can throw a DVa bomb as it's loading, after she casts it.
I think we deserve another Garrosh video just for that :D
You did well, considering Valla/Stukov is such a nightmare.

Damn Pally! What a throw mate!
This series may have changed my mind on Garrosh. He left a bad taste in my mouth because of how busted his kit was on release, but he seems much more reigned in nowadays
I can't wait for you to play the ultimate tank... Probius.😂
Garrosh running after Gul'dan to body check him is never going to not be funny.
I'd like to see "not-predetermined-garros", where you pick talents based on the game only
You can drag the activatible talents around on the upper toolbar, right? So you could still use muscle memory on 2 for Undomitable after swapping it for Body Check, I think.
4:38 Gul'Dan is a warlock, not a shaman!
To be fair, he was a shaman a long time ago.
But Pally was talking about the Fallen Shaman summoning monster in lane
I wonder if most of those body check games just didnt make it to 20 to take the upgrade.
16:00. But what about elevnsies or afternoon tea. Do they know about them😂😂😂😂😂?
Hey man Ravenswatch is out, are you gonna make videos about it? I really liked the EA ones
why is Pally talking about Double Up working against a Pyroblast? Armor does not reduce spell damage, no? That's what Spell armor is for, right? or did I get that wrong?
Garrosh trait gives Armor, which reduces all damage. Physical Armor, from something like Dwarf Block, only blocks attack (orange) damage.
Any chance of you doing a deep dive on Thrall? I know youve previously said he hasnt been a character that has really clicked with you. But i feel that if you take the time youd really like him as a poking diving bruiser
Really cool run.
Can you throw mercenaries as well? (chug the shaman into tower, etc)
nice exploration
8 buttons garrosh vs an all silence/stun team
I was going to say that the fact you didn't go for the talent that gives you W cooldown on hero hit is just sad. W build is just necessary if you're going to be melee so much.
This game is so much better than league or dota...
First, stuck in the car for 3 hours more thanks for the content ❤
Main tank uther???
4 Garrosh in a row?
Fox on genji counts as using an exploit. Reported 👮
Always good to see the evil tyrant lose.
It didn't seem like the talent was the issue. Y'all just went AFK for the middle of the game and fed.
you are reading my comment.
You assume I'm not illiterate, how could you know?!

I hate skins that are not serius or thematic. Stop using these skins
Can we finally get interesting characters? Like Valeera, Malthael or Varian?
I hate that the algorithm will never put you on my feed. WTF youtube??!!
I caught this match on stream, so I can only complain loudly at youtube.
