Saw some people musing that a lot of the Rise clip compilations and edits tend to reuse the same clips, and some editors lamented that they didn't have enough Mikey and Raph scenes. Although clips like the library rap and "'dr. delicate touch feels nothing" are EXTREMELY iconic (and physically pained me to exclude from these videos), I feel that the show has so many more hilarious scenes to offer that tends to get overlooked!
So, I decided on a whim to start a compilation series of the less common scenes from the show! What did I just sign myself up for!
Like many others, I got obsessed with this version of the turtles during the sudden popularity explosion following the movie's release. I was suddenly bombarded with clips and edits on yt, twt, and tiktok even though I was never a huge tmnt fan before, only having seen 2003 and 2012 sporadically as well as the 2007 and first bayverse movies. But the animation and designs hooked me in, so I gave it a shot and I'M GLAD I BLOODY DID

the “geology stinks” line infuriates me on a level i cannot describe mostly because my mother is a planetary geologist who worked on the first two mars rovers and geology is a path i’m genuinely considering in my life.
but on the other hand it is actually funny because rocks are spectacularly boring on a surface level.

Well that too, but mostly it's the corporate people changing hands mid-season 1, and they started nuking the shows the previous team had greenlit. Because office politics. That's why both the show and the toys were so poorly-marketed too, they shunted the show onto nicktoons and made it even harder to find. This happened to Korra s4 too further back, but rottmnt didn't have the advantage of having the avatar brand to its name. They then pan the low ratings (cause no one's heard of it and can't bloody find it) as a way to justify their cancellation.
Why is it always the good shows die out because of fkn TOY SALES??? Teen Titans, TMNT 2012, Young Justice, and now ROTTMNT.
If Nickelodeon wanted us to buy toys so badly they'd have to make ones that are show-accurate and aren't McDonald's toy quality

in the month since I got hyperfixated on the show, I've watched s1 three times going on four (I'm 2/3rds of the way through a fourth watch) + rewatches of my favourite episodes. I've also watched the movie 11 times, sadly s2 only once even though one of my favourite episodes (the clothes don't make the turtle) is in there
