Dude there’s nothing wrong with the fourth movie. Also you are saying it ruined the legacy of gore, ted, and terry however this is very misleading because you MUST be implying that either all or none worked on 4/5 but ted worked on 4. 4 was great idk why you’re saying it tarnished ALL their reputation only ted worked on it
You’re absolutely right. The intricate and insanely woven plot line with each character is so good. The trilogy is a masterpiece and it’s unfortunate that they made 4/5 the way they did.
I always loved this trilogy. Dead Man’s Chest is my favourite, and while At World’s End is a little bit of a mess, it all comes together at the end The fourth was pointless and boring, but it still FELT like a Pirates film. The fifth is one of the most contemptible movies I’ve ever seen. It’s a fan Reddit given a budget. But it’s so far removed in tone, personality and . . . continuity even, from the original trilogy that it can be easily ignored forever. Like any Highlander film after the first Highlander
trilogy is perfect, and i agree that 4th is not even close, but it still has few moments that feel like good old pirates, many iconic characters are gone, but jack and barbossa give movie some life, but this is completly gone in 5th movie.
I absolutely love the Pirates trilogy. The music in 2 and 3 are so incredible, some of Zimmers best work. It is so disappointing how low critics rated it. I enjoy 2 and 3 more than the first. The Maelstrom battle is my favorite scene.
I’m so happy you called it a trilogy. They should have just stopped these movies after At World’s End. These movies were my childhood. I was born in 2005 but watched all the movies at an extremely you age and fell in love with them. Also Davy Jones is my favorite Disney Villain to date. His theme is amazing (the little music box) and his story is one of tragedy, betrayal, love, and evil. It just works so amazingly well.
At World's End gets alot of crap for being the worst in the trilogy. I absolute enjoyed it. I actually felt all the meetings and alliances were good and made it all much more serious and high stakes. Anyway, just my opinion
I feel like I could defend this trilogy for hours. It is so underrated. I'm glad that you did this video and you seem to have very similar opinions to mine whent it comes to your favourite movie, soudtrack, moments and individuals of each movie. I'm glad people are making this types of videos because even though it is not as perfect (in world building and other aspects) like things as LotR, Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc .... it deserves it's spot in the podium among them. Great video!
I’m willing to say that potc awe is the best movie I’ve seen, the characters have good depth, they have serious moments with some comedy involved. The main villain Davy Jones has probably the most saddest backstory of any Disney villain, from love to then heartbreak then pain and suffering, Davy Jones is an emotional villain who hates the idea of love. This is the reason he is my favourite villain of all time as he has so much depth more depth than any other villain Disney has.
This trilogy was part of my childhood. I saw The Curse of the Black Pearl on DVD back when I was four years old, and I loved every second of it. Then I saw Dead Man's Chest in theaters when I was seven years old, and then I saw At World's End in theaters when I was eight years old.
they dont make movies like these anymore, i truly feel like writers gave it all when making this trilogy, specially 2 and 3. I simply cannot find new movies with such lenght and dept. Many people are saying that 3rd movie is just to long, but i dont think so because movie is filled with so many intertwined stories, it gives each character time.
honestly I grew up with the original trilogy, and watched them religiously all the time lmao. I genuinely was attached to them emotionally, and I'll be honest without them I am sure I wouldn't be who I am today, so I'm thankfully. I just wish they didn't make more past 4,because now it has been tarnished from the magic it once had
I love the first 3 and they are absolute masterpieces, but I actually like the 4th one, it was like a cool new start that didnt try to set up anything new for the sake of it, it just tried to be a new and cool andventure which is was, great music, great visuals and the same feel and the pirates movies should have, the 5 th one tho lacked à LOT of things, maybe Jack himself cause he wasnt himself in that film and the overall story was so simple and not very fleshed out
AT WORLD’S END is a movie you have to watch at least 10 times. People criticize it because they don’t understand it! Every character has their own journey in that movie. THEIR OWN GOALS! It all became personal… Jack doesn’t want to die from Davy Jones, will is desperate to save his father! Elizabeth had alot to work with in that movie, her guilt of killing Jack! Trying to make up with Will. And getting her revenge on Beckett! I understand the movie so I’m good. 😉☠️☠️💀
I recently did a rewatch of the whole series and the fourth film was WAY better than i remembered. The fifth I still don't like but I would advise people who didn't like the fourth one to give it another chance. Nice video btw.
Honestly I'm tired of everyone praising the first movie!!! 🙃 Dead men's chest is literally the best written movie out of the three!! Gore verbinski's is hands down one of the better written trilogies out there!!! Along with the two writers who wrote these films!! Part 2 had the most clever dialogue. Like when Will challenging Davy Jones. Davy Jones asks him how do you know about the key? Will replies and says, that's NOT part of the game is it? 😏 You can STILL walk away!! 😏 Or when jack brilliantly manipulated Elizabeth by taking advantage of her feelings of trying to find will. By telling her if you want to save will, you have to want to seek out the chest of Davy Jones!! Jack was struggling with the compass to try to figure out what does he want?! Jack couldn't get the answer so he took advantage of Elizabeth's feelings for his advantage! 🤯🤯 At World's End. Is a huge mess but I absolutely love how fun it is in the final battle! It’s sooooo beautiful with the effects and the storytelling as well. 😤💙💙💙 At least in the final third movie all the characters accomplished their goals!!! They all got what they wanted. Will saved his father, Elizabeth was able to keep will alive and get her revenge on Beckett! Jack won the battle against Davy Jones. Honestly you have to be out of your mind to really think the first movie was superior. From a writing point of view. Dead man’s chest with storytelling, clever dialogue, and higher risks involved!! Again for my writing point of view. The Director and the writers really pulled through in part 2. I can’t ask enough! ☠️☠️☠️ 4/5 are filler movies to me! 🤢 I Will Always Forever Love 1-3 pirates! ☠️☠️☠️☠️ filmento’s pirate analysis really helped me love the movies even more.
Yeah, this trilogy holds so well even though it was slammed and wasn't received well during their time. It was really memorable and made end credits popular.
The Pirates Trilogy holds a special place in my heart that i rank up there in my favorite movies of all time great acting action music and visuals , Davy Jones as one of my favorite villains 4 is decent but not at level of the trilogy, more of a Barbossa story with Jack along for the ride. but the lack of soem continuty or not feeling like a proper sequel still bugs me. 5 however..... i liked it when i first saw it due to fact it was great seeing another Pirates film but subsequent rewatches i now despise it and the definition of wasted potential done. The Beginning (though well done has AWE continuity problems) Jack not feeling like Jack, Barbossa was good again Salazar was a fine villain, and ending was really great but to get to it was medicore to bad Though my major issue is the assassination/retcon of established lore from the Trilogy and novels AND the completed wasted opportunity to have an epic ship battle featuring all 4 of the legendary ships: Black Pearl , Flying Dutchman, Queen Anne's Revenge and Silent Mary , had they had that grand spectacle i would have forgiven a lot of the film but they didnt so it is unforgivable A friend of mine calculated how the Trilogy works 50% Verbinski 10% Zimmer 5% other composers 10% Elliott/Rossio 5% Beattie/Wolpert 10% Depp 2% Rush 8% everyone else As you can see director Gore Verbinski was what made the trilogy work
4:12 dude same thank you! The first movie to me was just a fun and adventure movie! But DEAD MEN’S CHEST has more steaks and risks, The character writing is superior for all three characters too! ☠️☠️☠️
I actually really dig the tragic love story of Calypso and Davy Jones soo damn sad but the saddest in dead man's chest and At world's end is Bootstrap Bill and desension into madness. Its soo damn sad
These movies are criminally underrated and I can't help but feel the 4th and 5th drag it's fantastic legacy down into the mud for the average movie goer forgetting the definitive swashbuckling adventure for a generation
The music you played while speaking almost brought a tear to my eye, it reflected how I feel about the series. It was sad, but had an epic few to it. It's hard to describe. Also, thanks for mentioning the Elizabeth, Ragetti and Pintel vs. Jones' crew running sword fight! You're the only person I've seen praise it. I thought it was fantastic, with each yelling "Sword!" as needed.😂
1:45 *a pirate who is optimistic even when nothing good is coming his way and always has a plan to spring himself forward as the adventure is what he was always after and adventures don’t last forever so that’s ok
I am with you I like the first 3 Pirates of the Caribbean movies to and I do agree it seems like there are a lot movies that I like those are the movies that everyone seems to hate on and is underrated. Even tho there are people that likes the movies those people gets unnoticed. Just because the movie did not do well at the box office and movie critics gives the movies bad reviews and people that think their opinions are the only ones that is important does not mean that the movies are all that bad and that there are not people out there that do love the movies because there are. Everyone has there own likes and dislikes Just because some people claim it sucks others don't.
Jack Sparrow may seem inept, but he is always a step ahead of everyone; is a very competent swordsman; has never killed anyone; and is the best pirate, ever! Johnny Depp took great pains to create this beloved ( and my favorite) fictional character. Only Johnny Depp is Captain Jack Sparrow!
I love the trilogy, and before potc 5, I always hated the way will and elizabeth end up because they deserve more than that - yes they are together now but i dont think they deserved that fate.
Barbossa also gets the best line in the entire series: "Fer sure ya hafta be lost ta find th' place what can't be found. Elsewise everyone'd know where it is."
I mean it's made billions and is lived all over the world. I don't see how it's underrated. It's much more beautifully written than many give it credit for.
This is from the Liars Dice Deleted Scene, it's a more extended sequence that adds more context and it foreshadows Will's Fate. It's a cool scene, I suggest taking a look - M
These movies are also among my favourites. The characters have so much depth paired with an evolving story that makes them feel like people, yet somehow cartoony in the case of Jack. I definitely think these were among the last truly great Disney movies, all thanks to Gore and the writing team. truly unique and memorable, something that the other films (4 more so that 5) failed to capture. Pirates 5 is still good, just not in comparison to the Golden Trilogy. I hope they don't make any more.
The detail put int9 the movies is one of the best things about the movies personally. It makes them more enjoyable to watch again as you pick up more and more of the hidden details each time
I remember saying that Disney+ is the "family-friendly" streaming service, but then I remembered that the 3rd POTC film literally begins with a kid being hanged. Kind of surprised Disney let Gore Verbinski go that far. These movies have a better justification for the PG-13 rating than most MCU movies (no, I'm not hating on the MCU, I actually love it, it's just a fact I'm stating)
W analysis. One of the best trilogies of all Time. I would have loved a continuation of Elizabeth as Pirate King and how her and jacks fates enter twined. You could still had the same finish of how they saved will but with a story like that played off the first 3 movies set up. The last 2 movies where still cool but I was so invested in the first 2 lore but the last movie did a GREAT job showing how Jack earned his name!
I love the original trilogy and I'm happy people like you are still making videos about the franchise. I would love to see another POC trilogy with new characters and new adventures
The first 3 Pirates movies will always be my comfort films, especially Dead Man's Chest. I grew up with them and they have a special place in my heart.
Pirates of the Caribbean hold a special place in my heart! Everytime a new movie came out in blockbuster, my father would rent it and we would have a movie night with snacks, my sister and I and our mother and father, together, watching the movies....fuck im crying now because I just realized how important those memories are and have never thought of it until now. My dad is dead since 2012 of May 5th. ........good night.
Just SO you know The Cannibals Island was essential to the story because the Chief is believed to be a "god" trapped in human form, and the flesh must be eaten to free the "god" from its prison. This is a direct connection, thematically, to Calypso, who is trapped in human form (Tia Dalma) in and is later released at World's. This was the whole point of her resurrecting Barbosa.
I’m confused, I saw each of these movies multiple times on their release and the theaters were always PACKED, how are they underrated? Maybe they are underrated by kids that are like 10-16 now but they sure as hell weren’t when they came out
Pirates is my 2 nd favourite movie franchise along lord of the rings. I adore johnny depp he really brought movie to life and made it what it is if he didnt take to writing it i dont think we would ever know how good it would be
As great as the third film is, I have to say my favourite is dead man's chest. It's such a complete movie - everything you could want from an adventure film. The mysterious quest to find the legendary chest, the split lovers trying to reunite, one of the best villains in cinema history portrayed in a much scarier and exciting way than the third film, and some of the best fight scenes with the kraken i've seen in movies alltogether. Not to mention, the hero's fitting ending, literally sinking with his ship at the end.
You missed one detail that was already hinted in the first movie that connects with the second movie. In Curse of the black pearl, there was a scene where Jack Sparrow's arm was in a shot and you can see tattoos as well as a burnt scar with the letter "p". In Dead Man's chest, when Lord Beckett was giving his monologue in the beginning of the movie, he hinted that both him and Jack Sparrow crossed path before while picking up a burning metal rod with the tip having the letter "p". Indicating that Jack Sparrow was once in the captivity of Lord Beckett
I grew up with the first 3 movies. I don't care what the critics said. The movies are amazing, creative and fun to watch. Even the CGI, most notably with the Dutchman's crew hold up till this date.
The first 30 minutes of DMC I could skip generally, but once Jones hits the screen, I could, and often do, watch it through and enjoy it. That, and over the years I have watched it so much I've come to memorize a lot of the lines and even songs in my head, to the point I could act them out in similar accents. The 99 souls scene stands out. Always fun to do it and see people's reaction who are taken back and concerned. Truth is though, I just really enjoy the movie, as well as the whole original trilogy. It may not be masterpieces of cinema to some, but it's very solid and a great watch.
I love those movies too! I even think 4 and 5 are underrated. 4 is decidedly worst in the series... but I had no problems with that. First 3 were super epic... and I like how 4 was just lower-scale treasure adventure hunt story. Nothing wrong with that. And personally, I find 2 & 3 to be even better than 1 (yeah, very unpopular opinion). I love that franchise.
This is my favorite series and I think the first 3 are classics. It’s a tight race but I think 3 might be my favorite. 4 and 5 just kinda made me upset. Between the two I thought 4 was slightly better than 5. They just lost their magic.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But you would need one Maelstrom of an argument to convince anybody that 4 and 5 can and do compare to 1, 2, and 3.
I think pirates of the carribian Is THE BEST movie of all . Bc all the consistent changes of the characters but also keeps there personality and who they are
I remember thinking that Elizabeth Swann and Norrington had the truest change of all the characters. Barbossa may be second. Every one else was just a more mature version of themselves in my opinion. That being said, I have always loved this trilogy. Stranger tides gets a pass from me cause I remember liking it somewhat but I love a good story that flows and doesn’t change with the wind. That’s what Pirates 1-3 was. Each engaging and truly enjoyable on its own and followed a very clear through line to the end. Like you said, the characters remained true to their nature (made logical character decisions) Ughhh and the cgi for it’s time is insane! Correct me if I’m wrong but the first pirates movie saved Disney studios I think right? Cause they didn’t have a lot going for them in the live action department? Disney channel had just got its come up in the nineties with even stevens Jett Jackson and Lizzie Maguire I believe, but the studio didn’t have movies they were known for? I could be wrong it’s all hazy now….
I will defend the original Pirates trilogy with my life, till the day I'm being transported into the afterlife.

Davy Jones asks him how do you know about the key?
Will replies and says, that's NOT part of the game is it? 😏 You can STILL walk away!! 😏
As for pirates 4/5 they are not even Canon they are filler movies. The story ended at worlds end! ☠️
@@edwincipkar3197 The fourth and fifth film are not canon to me at all lol
I always loved this trilogy. Dead Man’s Chest is my favourite, and while At World’s End is a little bit of a mess, it all comes together at the end
The fourth was pointless and boring, but it still FELT like a Pirates film.
The fifth is one of the most contemptible movies I’ve ever seen. It’s a fan Reddit given a budget. But it’s so far removed in tone, personality and . . . continuity even, from the original trilogy that it can be easily ignored forever. Like any Highlander film after the first Highlander
Oh gawd i hate the 5th one
trilogy is perfect, and i agree that 4th is not even close, but it still has few moments that feel like good old pirates, many iconic characters are gone, but jack and barbossa give movie some life, but this is completly gone in 5th movie.
I agree completely. Being a history fan i loved the English/Spanish rivalry in the 4th one tho
I liked the 5th more than the 4th, to be honest.
@@bigchungus6827 The fifth bored me. I found my attention wandering far too much. It sucks, though, because I thought Salazar was a great villain.
Agreed! The Calypso moments were amazing!
It's the worst one of the trilogy, but it's still like 4/5
I feel like I could defend this trilogy for hours.
Glad to know that you also enjoyed them, but some of us are old enough to remember that they were never underrated.
A very well done review of the trilogy. Congratulations!
I get teary-eyed when Elizabeth has to say goodbye to Will! 😭😭😭😭
The golden age of the 2000's was with Potc
This trilogy was part of my childhood. I saw The Curse of the Black Pearl on DVD back when I was four years old, and I loved every second of it. Then I saw Dead Man's Chest in theaters when I was seven years old, and then I saw At World's End in theaters when I was eight years old.
At world end is one of my favorite movies ever and definitely one of the most underrated moves ever.
they dont make movies like these anymore, i truly feel like writers gave it all when making this trilogy, specially 2 and 3. I simply cannot find new movies with such lenght and dept. Many people are saying that 3rd movie is just to long, but i dont think so because movie is filled with so many intertwined stories, it gives each character time.
5:59 dude WHAT? I never notice! ☠️☠️☠️
Awesome Job! Channel looks new. Hoping it grows. Keep it up!
Thank you so much!! - M & N
honestly I grew up with the original trilogy, and watched them religiously all the time lmao. I genuinely was attached to them emotionally, and I'll be honest without them I am sure I wouldn't be who I am today, so I'm thankfully. I just wish they didn't make more past 4,because now it has been tarnished from the magic it once had
Wow such s welldone video for a small channel…goodjob and yes poc the first three some of my fav movies of all time
Thank you! We really appreciate it - M & N
I love the first 3 and they are absolute masterpieces, but I actually like the 4th one, it was like a cool new start that didnt try to set up anything new for the sake of it, it just tried to be a new and cool andventure which is was, great music, great visuals and the same feel and the pirates movies should have, the 5 th one tho lacked à LOT of things, maybe Jack himself cause he wasnt himself in that film and the overall story was so simple and not very fleshed out
4th one was different but still a fun stand-alone movie. 5th one though...
I liked the fourth one too
I completely agree!! All of these three are masterpieces. At world’s end is my favourite.
wholeheartedly agree with every word said in the video, keep it up man
7:45 that’s the main reason why I love the second movie the most. They all grown up! Elizabeth really became her own character in this movie. 😇
Nice "What shall we die for?" background music
Exelent analysis! Great job!
Someone else who prefers 2 and 3 to PotC 1! All in all, the original trilogy is amazing and should be way more appreciated today.
Holy Jesus Christ the quality on this
Damn
17:35 THANK YOU, YESSSSSSS! ☠️☠️☠️
Honestly I'm tired of everyone praising the first movie!!! 🙃
Dead men's chest is literally the best written movie out of the three!!
Or when jack brilliantly manipulated Elizabeth by taking advantage of her feelings of trying to find will. By telling her if you want to save will, you have to want to seek out the chest of Davy Jones!!
Jack was struggling with the compass to try to figure out what does he want?!
Jack couldn't get the answer so he took advantage of Elizabeth's feelings for his advantage! 🤯🤯
At World's End. Is a huge mess but I absolutely love how fun it is in the final battle! It’s sooooo beautiful with the effects and the storytelling as well. 😤💙💙💙
At least in the final third movie all the characters accomplished their goals!!!
4/5 are filler movies to me! 🤢
I Will Always Forever Love 1-3 pirates! ☠️☠️☠️☠️
filmento’s pirate analysis really helped me love the movies even more.
Can you please explain more why At World’s end is a mess?
@@marianthim.2454 story at the start is tooo slow and boring
I watched all 3 yesterday and it was a great jorney once again.
Yeah, this trilogy holds so well even though it was slammed and wasn't received well during their time. It was really memorable and made end credits popular.
The Pirates Trilogy holds a special place in my heart that i rank up there in my favorite movies of all time great acting action music and visuals , Davy Jones as one of my favorite villains
4 is decent but not at level of the trilogy, more of a Barbossa story with Jack along for the ride. but the lack of soem continuty or not feeling like a proper sequel still bugs me.
5 however..... i liked it when i first saw it due to fact it was great seeing another Pirates film but subsequent rewatches i now despise it and the definition of wasted potential done. The Beginning (though well done has AWE continuity problems) Jack not feeling like Jack, Barbossa was good again Salazar was a fine villain, and ending was really great but to get to it was medicore to bad
Though my major issue is the assassination/retcon of established lore from the Trilogy and novels AND the completed wasted opportunity to have an epic ship battle featuring all 4 of the legendary ships: Black Pearl , Flying Dutchman, Queen Anne's Revenge and Silent Mary , had they had that grand spectacle i would have forgiven a lot of the film but they didnt so it is unforgivable
A friend of mine calculated how the Trilogy works
50% Verbinski
10% Zimmer
5% other composers
10% Elliott/Rossio
5% Beattie/Wolpert
10% Depp
2% Rush
8% everyone else
As you can see director Gore Verbinski was what made the trilogy work
Gonna rewatch the 3rd movie soon, so excited
Hey, please make more videos I really liked the way you explained everything about movies :)
Gibbs has to be a favorite of mine
on point, subscribed 👌
I love Will and Elizabeth absolutely adore those two
I really like this trilogy a lot especially the second and third movie At World's end is my favorite
Great video mate 👏
4:12 dude same thank you! The first movie to me was just a fun and adventure movie! But DEAD MEN’S CHEST has more steaks and risks, The character writing is superior for all three characters too! ☠️☠️☠️
🥩
love bro 💙
The background music for this was perfect. What music is this?
It's this one, a remix of "Hoist the Colors": ruclips.net/video/nXJ-KsMb99Y/видео.html - M
I feel you there
The original trilogy was legendary ^^
Amazing! My second favorite movie series, after lord of the rings!
Thank you man ! I’m with u on loving these movies, everytime anyone of them are on , I’m watching . ☠️☠️
Thank goodness finally I found someone who can explain the background and connection.
I love the trilogy, and before potc 5, I always hated the way will and elizabeth end up because they deserve more than that - yes they are together now but i dont think they deserved that fate.
Barbossa also gets the best line in the entire series:
"Fer sure ya hafta be lost ta find th' place what can't be found. Elsewise everyone'd know where it is."
I mean it's made billions and is lived all over the world. I don't see how it's underrated.
It's much more beautifully written than many give it credit for.
8:41 what moment was this?! 🙂
This is from the Liars Dice Deleted Scene, it's a more extended sequence that adds more context and it foreshadows Will's Fate. It's a cool scene, I suggest taking a look - M
@@2watch866 I knew it looked different! 😅
this is aging like fine wine
These movies are also among my favourites. The characters have so much depth paired with an evolving story that makes them feel like people, yet somehow cartoony in the case of Jack. I definitely think these were among the last truly great Disney movies, all thanks to Gore and the writing team. truly unique and memorable, something that the other films (4 more so that 5) failed to capture. Pirates 5 is still good, just not in comparison to the Golden Trilogy. I hope they don't make any more.
Best trilogy ever
The detail put int9 the movies is one of the best things about the movies personally. It makes them more enjoyable to watch again as you pick up more and more of the hidden details each time
at worlds end soundtrack is perfect
I remember saying that Disney+ is the "family-friendly" streaming service, but then I remembered that the 3rd POTC film literally begins with a kid being hanged. Kind of surprised Disney let Gore Verbinski go that far. These movies have a better justification for the PG-13 rating than most MCU movies (no, I'm not hating on the MCU, I actually love it, it's just a fact I'm stating)
Yeah, it was different times, now Disney is more strict with their ratings. - M
What if Davy Jones hid the chest in Davy Jones' Locker? That would have been a good plan.
What if he hid it in his "chest " you know where his heart is supposed to be
Almost everything I agree with
only 300 subs? I thought I was watching some 100k sub channel
very well made video and good points, I never knew critics didn't like this trilogy
Just SO you know
The Cannibals Island was essential to the story because the Chief is believed to be a "god" trapped in human form, and the flesh must be eaten to free the "god" from its prison. This is a direct connection, thematically, to Calypso, who is trapped in human form (Tia Dalma) in and is later released at World's. This was the whole point of her resurrecting Barbosa.
Interesting take, I saw the movies a billion times and never thought of it this way - M
Love the first 2 like at world's end
Loved the trilogy wasn't the least bit confusing to me, but then I have eagle eye level attention to detail.
This too is my favorite trilogy of all time for some reason cynical film critics love undermining the artistry of these films
Everyone needs to go watch the deleted scenes that should’ve been in the movies! 🙂
I’m confused, I saw each of these movies multiple times on their release and the theaters were always PACKED, how are they underrated? Maybe they are underrated by kids that are like 10-16 now but they sure as hell weren’t when they came out
I just had the trilogy marathon over the weekend
Very nice video! I love these films!
Pirates is my 2 nd favourite movie franchise along lord of the rings. I adore johnny depp he really brought movie to life and made it what it is if he didnt take to writing it i dont think we would ever know how good it would be
Great vid mate
The Pirates trilogy was my childhood. Captain Jack Sparrow was my childhood crush.
Not many movies catch my attention like this trilogy does.
I’ve been sick and tired of everyone praising the first movie! 🙃 If you ask me. Dead man’s chest is the best written movie! 🎥
Pirates trilogy is great, i rewatch evrry 2-3 years, never gets old
You missed one detail that was already hinted in the first movie that connects with the second movie.
If you haven't seen it yet, I reccommend a deleted scene from the second movie - Liar's Dice Full game (Deleted Scene)
While talking about Dead Man's Chest, I used the deleted scene, I wish they would've kept that in - M
Oh man I agree with everything you said
I grew up with the first 3 movies. I don't care what the critics said. The movies are amazing, creative and fun to watch. Even the CGI, most notably with the Dutchman's crew hold up till this date.
6:00 I never noticed this before!
The island scene in the second movie felt like a studio interference to me.
I don't like 4, I tolerate 5. But yeah, I agree that Dead Man's Chest and At World's End are better than Curse of the Black Pearl - M
@@2watch866 And Davy Jones is in my top 3 favorite villains of all time!
4 and 5 are not underrated! They don’t even have a story.. everything was completed at world‘s end!
Im gonna be honest dead mans chest is in my opinion one of if not the best movie ever made
I think pirates of the carribian Is THE BEST movie of all . Bc all the consistent changes of the characters but also keeps there personality and who they are
The character devolopment in the third movie is amazing. Jack's character arch went so far and in the end, he got his peanut.
Like you said, the characters remained true to their nature (made logical character decisions)
Ughhh and the cgi for it’s time is insane!
