I think he took this unforseen situation very graciously. It's too bad Kyle isn't used more in the games. He most certainly is an unsung 'hero' in many instances, but does his job well when his time comes. Being an exceptional all around player, a probowler 7 times so far in his career, and a well liked teammate and team captain too; what more can you expect of a true TEAM player. I would be hurt as well in his spikes. Glad Kyle is still the highest paid fullback in the league however. Kyle enjoys his job and does it well. Just a special guy and great sportsman! Go Niners! Not a 49ers fan but Kyle is an absolute baller and deserves nothing but respect.. that said you have to put yourself in a GMs shoes.. Kyle is 33, he’s a fullback which the avg nfl FB salary is $1.7 mil and Kyle had a 5 year $27 mil contract.. And the 49ers have a lot of stars on the team that take up a lot of cap space and Brock is gunna get a massive contract soon.. Yes Kyle is a great guy and the best FB in the league but as a GM you gotta do the best you can for the team..
