I think he took this unforseen situation very graciously. It's too bad Kyle isn't used more in the games. He most certainly is an unsung 'hero' in many instances, but does his job well when his time comes. Being an exceptional all around player, a probowler 7 times so far in his career, and a well liked teammate and team captain too; what more can you expect of a true TEAM player. I would be hurt as well in his spikes. Glad Kyle is still the highest paid fullback in the league however. Kyle enjoys his job and does it well. Just a special guy and great sportsman! Go Niners! Keep going Kyle! ❤ ya!

Not a 49ers fan but Kyle is an absolute baller and deserves nothing but respect.. that said you have to put yourself in a GMs shoes.. Kyle is 33, he’s a fullback which the avg nfl FB salary is $1.7 mil and Kyle had a 5 year $27 mil contract.. And the 49ers have a lot of stars on the team that take up a lot of cap space and Brock is gunna get a massive contract soon.. Yes Kyle is a great guy and the best FB in the league but as a GM you gotta do the best you can for the team.. I’m glad they were able to get a deal done and make it work because the 49ers are an exciting team to watch..

The only reason he could be thought of as overpaid was not because of his performance, it's because he's under-utilized. He'd be worth every penny if Kyle called a few more plays targeting him. The guy is a living legend, but relatively below the radar with such a loaded team. He's not just the best fullback in the league, he's one of the very best who's ever played the position.

To munipulate Salary Cap and to ask curtain players to take part but (in no disrespect) in order to keep players and to make more runs at SB.
Also this way, you can tell who wants to stay a SF and to win SB w SF 49ers and who's ONLY there for money !!!.
I mentioned if I was SF player n wanted to win?! I'd take a pay cut. CAUSE I would also be part of SF 49ers History n WINS.

All these poor millionaires, I feel bad for them. 😑. Look, tbh you can't be RICH af and have a good team. You need to be willing to share those riches with your teammates that way good players can all be on the same team at the same time. What's going to happen when we have to pay Brock next year? Look at this BA situation. It's hard to keep a team of this caliber together. Lynch is trying to WIN a 6th ring for the organization. Juice should understand where it's all coming from. Not saying that Juice shouldn’t get paid, but you gotta think, when they can have someone younger and just as strong rookies coming out the gate, that this was an actual out of love/respect deal for him to take a pay cut.
