motors are tough as nails in those, but good lord were they slow lol. I drove a 99 when my school bus was in the shop, it crawled up hills. Gutless wonder. My 1994 international had much more power, but it was paired with an over drive transmission. Sure miss driving, been retired over ten years now
I wondered the same thing when I was a kid. They're operating on separate motors against slightly different conditions vs most cars' wipers being linked together and driven by a single motor.
@grantbrownson2751 correct. My family drove a retired school bus, and they had their own switches. This was a 2001 international 3800 w/ wheelchair lift. It was a medium sized bus, and it drove great. Made that thing a camper
I don’t need to hear your opinion on it This bus was difficult enough to start using 2 vehicles to jumpstart it just to get it to turn over enough to build a fuel prime The bus had been sitting since the summer entirely untouched and this was a desperate attempt to get it out and moved
@@ThatOneLT1Lol facts. Plus I'm pretty sure that guy doesn't own any busses. He's probably just a keyboard warrior. I'll admit I don't own a bus or a diesel vehicle. Nothing but an 05 Mazda 3 with 213k miles and she's still kicking but also in need of repairs.
The left wiper blade that is completely gone is triggering me to no end.
Good Video
All these sounds bring back so many memories. The bus I rode on had a manual opening door instead of an air-opened door.
What a good runner!
Nice one, maybe we can get another but longer video of bus 39 again soon? These were my favorite Busses i rode back in Elementary and Middle School
Sounds awesome!
That engine will last forever still sounds healthy as well

She sounds great!! Makes me want to get another 3800 haha
Glad to see the ole girl running, btw I believe I found bus 320 from B’ville’s retired buses
Deville
I’ve seen 320
It’s owned by Reeves Farms for migrant transportation
@@ThatOneLT1 that’s exactly where I saw it, I was attending on a route that went past reeves. It was just sitting in the barn
Those engines sure struggled in the cold and they don't like the cold either
Is that Cameron driving
Why do windshield wipers on buses run independently of each other vs being in sync?

When will we get a Q&A Video
Why aren't the 2 windshield wipers in sync with each other? The school I've rode in were like that two
If I remember correctly, each wiper is in it’s own switch and delay

Hard starts are the best! Def need more where we can see the driver properly though
@@labellamaffia will be more coming soon!
@ great! Maybe try a wide angle so we can see the guy and the inside of the bus too
I think. You should put it next to The bluebird vision.
Got to plug in the block heater over night when it n gets cold
Doesn’t work on this particular bus
And that wasn’t the issue, batteries were stone cold dead
Needs wiper blade😮
Bus 39 on the 11th Try it starts
Am here for airbrakes sounds !
Let.the.glow.plugs.warm.up.first..... damn
That is just a cheat light the glow plugs run for at least 2 to 3 mins minutes
it sounds like the IC CE tbh
Thomas
@@shmulyitzkowitz6479 i know but the engine sounds like a CE
@@IshaanPotato same engine
@ not the exact same some parts are different
Same engine in the First Gen CE200s
Same basic chassis too
Try hit accelerate couple of time
That’s not how to cold start it
It is in the north country!

There's no fuel
No way to start that at alll...Learn what you're doing
I’m fairly confident that I know what I’m doing 🤣 the bus hasn’t had working glow plugs in years
Nobody cares if you bought a bus.
You clearly do because you commented
Nobody cares that you exist but here we are 🤷
