    Thank you, it was your MK that inspired me to do it all the same, although I watched a lot of videos. I changed something, I did something the same, I am satisfied with the result

    Etsy has a nice wood stand for that kam snap plier that basically turns it into a press. Way easier on the hands.

    Is the blood going to dpread onto the wings that wrap around

    • @kelseymomo1219
      @kelseymomo1219 4 месяца назад +2

      I know this is a late response but I use pads very similar to this design and yes the blood will sometimes be soaked into the wings- only on heavy days. But it doesn't soak thru to my underwear.

    Thank you for making this post. Very helpful and your sewing is beautiful. Love the vintage machine. I clicked on to both links in the description box but the download link doesn't work. I get an error message. I don't see any way to contact Luna either. How can I get a free copy of the pattern?

    Wow, I am looking into a treadle sewing machine. Is this a conversion kit to make the wheel turn?

    • @odetoless

      I'm using a portable hand crank sewing machine. If you have a treadle sewing machine, you can convert it by getting the hand attachment

    Does this machine use a shuttle with the spindle style bobbin? If so how often do you have to refill it? Also how do you back stitch?

    • @odetoless
      @odetoless  2 года назад +1

      This model doesn't use the spindle style bobbin, just the regular one. I back stitch by turning the "project" the other way lol

    Is terry cloth stretchy? Sewing with stretchy fabrics is quite scary for me. Not ready to tackle this yet, but I love the minimal look of your sewing space.

    what is PUL?

    • @liliefleurfontaine5771
      @liliefleurfontaine5771 4 месяца назад +1

      C'est une matière étanche et respirante, idéale pour faire des serviettes hygiéniques. Mais il existe d'autres alternatives comme le tissu d'un vieux parapluie par exemple. Bref le pul est un peu cher mais c'est beaucoup mieux pour mettre près de nos parties intimes très fragiles n'est ce pas. J'ai traduit votre commentaire mais je ne sais pas très bien parler anglais. J'espère que vous comprendrez mon commentaire.

      It is a breathable water resistant lining, most often used for leak proof cloth diaper covers, but can also be certified food safe making it great for everything from diapers/wet bags, menstrual pads, and even sandwich bags. To find out more you can Google it.

    Can any fabric be used?

    • @odetoless
      @odetoless  10 месяцев назад +1

      The pad consist of 3 layers, each layer serves a different purpose so it's best to find fabrics that are suitable. You don't need to use the same exact fabrics I used in the vid :)
