There is surely something amiss in the formulation of tender norms to suit a particular bidder. . It may so happen that terms, conditions are tailor made for the Adani companies. In such a scenario, the central government must stipulate long term terms & conditions for such capital intensive projects which cannot be set up in a shorter period. This will prevent manipulation of terms and conditions arbitrarily. Let other players also set up facilities on those lines. There will be greater competitive bidding in that scenario. This is an age of crony capitalism.
