    Aguape (Eichornia spp) pode ser usado na alimentação de porcos, gado, tem quase as mesmas propriedades que o milho.

    I notice the barges have no instruments, such as oil pressure and water temp gauges.

    Just like US Midwest Grain Haulers,
    some drive for a Custom Cutter,
    some for the Neighbors Grandfather.
    Same where ever we go,
    not enough power to fight the current,
    but still we try.....

    Just a note....more might subscribe if you would put more info about the size and capacity of the boats, what are the cargos they haul! I would be interested. Just a little bit of info each video, much appreciated from a fellow in land locked Alberta, Canada!

      The big round fruits are pomelos, like grapefruit. The barges haul insane loads of silt dredged from the river bottom up the river and it's pumped onto orchards. They grow pomelos in the orchards, and the rain washes the silt back down the river, where it gets dredged up and hauled up the river again. Capacity is whatever it takes to submerge the deck and almost swamp the hold. Silt weighs a little more than a ton per cubic meter, so you can estimate from there. It's probably shipped by the cubic meter, anyway. There's no way to weigh a barge accurately.

    Why would you think that the plants would affect the barges? They don't make a bit of difference.

      Going up river through the gate, with the stronger current is where they run into trouble.

    The plants should not be a problem, they are on the surface. The problem is the boats cooling system, @14:50 TV2580H barge is pumping steam but no water. He must have a broken water pump belt or maybe the plants have blocked his water inlet.

    Well it's about time I subscribed to your channel after watching so many of your interesting videos. I'm traveling to the east coast of Canada where I have many friends and family in Nova Scotia in a couple of weeks, I will introduce your channel to all of them as they too have interests in boats of all sizes as well own a few too. Nice to see what the other side of the planet is doing and how they do things. Thanks again for the interesting entertainment and take good care!

      Здравствуйте, спасибо за просмотр видео, от верхнего края ворот плотины до дна реки на глубине 7,2 метра. Поскольку уровень воды постоянно меняется, я не могу точно сказать, насколько глубоко каждый день находится уровень воды у ворот плотины.

    How many hours a day is a set of gates open?

    • @NGUYENCHELINH
      @NGUYENCHELINH  4 месяца назад +2

      Hello, thank you for watching the video. Depending on the day, on days when salt water appears, the time the dam gate is open is about 25 minutes to 45 minutes. On days when there is no salt water, the dam gate opens freely for a long time until the tide changes.

      We can get tangelos in the store, a cross between tangerines and pomelos. Basically just an orange. Pomelos are the fruit grapefruit were bred from, but I don't think they're as bitter.
