- Arduino Text to Speech using talkie | How to make Arduino to talk | Arduino Talking System
Hi! In this you will learn How to make Arduino Talking System. It is easy to make. Sound is output on digital pin 3. It can drive headphones directly, or add a simple audio amplifier to drive a loudspeaker.

Hello, it's wonderful, but I would like to know how to change speech
thanks, it was really useful
Very good friend.thanks
Amazing
Wow thanks for the soon replay .
Cool subscibe to this men !
how can we write our own words?? instead of already defined code
uint8_t spDANGER[] PROGMEM = {0x2D, 0xBF, 0x21} like this
This is not Text to Speech.
Motor is on fire!😂😂😂
I can see interfacing an Arduino with pretty much any computer to create speech, even older computers like the Commodore 64 or even Vic 20, using the user port.
Hello, very great video. Bro i know you are very good at coding. So, I want you to help me at my project where I have to convert speech into text which will be displayed on a digital screen but without any use of mobile or computer and that digital screen should be short. Bro please reply me
nice job bro🤜🏻
If we want to talk other words what do .
in what app can i make my own word?
good boy
Hi, great video and nicely done. where do i get all this hardware used. could you provide at least the list of all , so i could search . that ll be helpful. thanks
Microcontroller is Arduino Uno, few jumper wires and speaker
Great tutorial! I just have a small question, wanted to know if we could use any speaker or need one with some kind of specification, help will be appreciated
You can use any speaker that have built-in audio amplifier because arduino audio output level is low
The library is not opening in Arduino software. *No properties found of takie.h* this error is showing......pls help
Hi Sir
Can i make the voice output 1 at a time
example is that when i a certain button a word comes out of it?
Yes
Sir can we convert english text to some other language.
salam how can I record my words suggest me really working wave to code converter witch can be work in case of Vocab_US_TI99 I try some converters but i did not get a voice or get only some tones???
Can I ask? What do you call those "thingy's" that you I guess "clipped" to the male to male jumper wires and to the audio system? I am doing this as my project but I can't do it until I have figure what it's called and buy it. Thank you!
These are alligator clips
@@uElectroPro THANKS!
The code please for writing a different sentences?
Svp comnet je peut modifier les paroles j'ai essayé avec ce code et j'ai remplacé danger avec un autre mot mais s'amrch pas prq ?
How to change the out pin from 3 to any other pin?
And can i use this talkie library in an Arduino mega??
same question
Connect a speaker between pins 6 and 7 on a Mega2560
how can make it to say other words like "hi how are u";
Ple give the code
That will be helpful
hello can i get a help ps, im working on a project for dumb people,u need a voice when a flexsensors bends from the arduino code itsellf, without using any modules, can u help pls
"working on a project for dumb people" 😂😂😂
Hello, first of all ,thats an amazing how you have done this job, second i want to ask you ,where is the actual database or the open source database where the hexadecimal is converted ,i saw the examples each word is represented by a combination of hexadecimal series.... I want to know where is the actual database where all the action is happening, im trying to use it for my senior project but i hv to mention the actual data location nd how it is beeing transformed
First Thanks for your nice words
Second, No database is used in talkie library. All the data is calculated in talkie library folder named encoder/freemat. It has some files that calculate these hexadecimal series.
@@uElectroPro so i can not see what's happening in the background .... Or the sub folders can be read some how? Im intreagued to know how it is working to be honnest... As a computer science student I feel committed to such stuff... Sorry for any inconveniences and thank you for replying as such short time
You can open these files with notepad and read them. But I don't know how it works or how it calculates data. You can learn more about this library link is in description :)
@@uElectroPro thanks a lot man ,last question the hexadecimal representation where did u get it from? And how can I have access to the 1000 words you mentioned in the readme file ,im so sorry if im asking too much, thanks again
I didn't write this library, it is adafruit's library, written by Texas Instruments. So, these hexadecimal series are also defined by them. Each example have different predefined words, you can copy these words into your code and use them
can customize the new words as our needs exept words given by library?
It might be possible if we convert the .wav file of word into hexadecimal and use this hexadecimal string into our code.
I think we can
what is the name of the library for "say" in voice.say?
Talkie library
Can i costumize my own words as per my needs
Yes. You can. See in my you tube channel. "TeachMeSomething"
Hi I really liked your video !! Can you please send me the Arduino PCM code
Download the talkie library from link in the description. In examples folder you will find some sketches that you can use
Bro can u send the sketch of the speaker connections
Arduino Digital pin3 to speaker +ve and gnd to -ve
Dear Sir,
please send me the code.Because ,I have been doing this project. If I find your code,It will be easier for me to do this project.
All code examples are given in library
Ahh, and here we can see the C”S” “””””””student””””””” in his prine
How do you increase the volume?
I used volume amplifier speakers, as you can see in this video
Hello what if I put an ultrasonic sensor how is the code will be? thank you
I have uploaded a video of ultrasonic sensor. You can use code from that video
ruclips.net/video/tiuB0mNMmtk/видео.html
if i want to produce sound "my name is punit" than how can i do it?
You can use arduino SD card adapter for this purpose, there are a lot of tutorials on RUclips
@@uElectroPro now I can't use this method I need to convert sound file into Arduino code as you showed in your video.
and how do you change the things that it says very nice job tho man
There are some example codes in talkie library which includes a lot of words. You can use these exemples to produce different voices
thank you for the fast reply. I would like it to say "Design your destination" and I cannot find the words I need in the library. I also tried to convert the words into hex file and tried it and did not work. Is there any other way?
I also tried to convert as you say but it's not done because of the low storage of Arduino. So, there's one way that we can use sd card module with Arduino. Here someone posted a tutorial on it, I hope it will help you
ruclips.net/video/gi9mqIha8n0/видео.html
I tried the way. I do not have a sd card connector so it does not work for em :( However, if there is not storage limit, how would I convert the words into the appropriate type?
First we need words in wav format (we can download from internet), then convert these word into hex format( in 8 bit resolution) using online wav to hex converter. After that copy this hex raw data into your code
in what app can make a new message
J'ai bossé ici
how can i word add
Can i have the schematic for all connections?
Connect the digital pin 3 of Arduino to positive terminal of speaker(or left & right pin of speakers) and connect Arduino Gnd to speaker Gnd.
Thanks bro
Thankyou
Blurry with dance music? No-go.
can we run it without pc?
Yes
Electronic Projects is it possible to do speech to speech translation on arduino?
Yes, but you need external battery to run Arduino and speakers
Is arduino the right choice for this or should I go with the rasberry pi?
Its your choice.
Plz ...Send me code sir?
You can download the library (have all examples), link is in the description
Why is this song everywhere in DIY stuff? *NotLikeThis*
i need the code please sir
can i use earphone instead of using speaker
Yes, but don't forget to add potentiometer so it doesn't damage your hearing
can u give me the connection of potentiometer and earphone and arduino together
Use potentiometor in series with Arduino output and earphones
earphone ka gnd ko potentiometer ka gnd se connect karke arduino ke grnd me connect karna ha
