    • @edbo10
      @edbo10 8 лет назад +3

      rather, make sure the immigrants don't become ungrateful little shits once they get in.
      My parents immigrated from Asia in the late 80s but they knew to understand local customs and traditions. A lot of immigrants, muslim and non muslim have a disturbing sense of entitlement that seriously needs to die in a hole, because it then gives a bad name for the immigrants who actually do want to give back to the country that has given them so much.

    • @edbo10
      @edbo10 8 лет назад +3

      *****
      I'm just going to add a disclaimer that you don't necessarily have to assimilate - you're welcome to keep your own traditions and customs (and share them too, provided you aren't _forcing_ them on others), because I just *know* people are going to take it the wrong way and think that I want them to abandon their culture when moving to a new area, while nothing could be further from the truth.
      Basically, keep and respect your culture as well as the culture of the place you are moving to.

    Hanson is spot-on about Family Law. Hanson is telling what others won't- as they are bound by PC notions. Women do claim that the dad has touched up the kids and other strategies just to get access and advantage.

    I am disappointed in the Greens because they do need to know who they're working with, what ideas that members wants to put through .....and to walk out? Really stupid, they are not paid to walk off the job when they don't like something. I applaud Derryn Hinch (who disagrees with Pauline all the time) for being professional and giving respect to those people who voted her in. Whether the Greens agree with her or not, she represents a number of people. In politics, you dont walk out when you disagree with someone, you use your brain to convince them or educate them that their ideas are wrong/flawed. These Greens lost that opportunity and I think they would agree with a few of the things she mentioned later.. just sad

    • @jimbonio222
      @jimbonio222 8 лет назад +2

      I have an interesting thought exercise for you guys, let's see how it goes.
      The behaviour of a racist is as follows: "X is Y, and Y is Z, therefore, X is Z"
      So to put it one way, "John is black, black folks are lazy, therefore, John is lazy." You can see how this a problematic statement, can't you? After all, what does John being black have to do with John's potential to be or not be lazy? If all we know about John's character is that he's black, then it's a logical leap of faith to assume that he's lazy.
      Why, then, is it okay to say "Hassan is Muslim, Muslim people are violent terrorists, therefore, Hassan is a violent terrorist?" Without using the 'b-b-but it's a religion!' defense, can you explain how the process of characterising John as lazy and Hassan as a violent terrorist are different? After all, you're using the same logic: X = Y, Y = Z, therefore, X = Z.
      I mean, if you're using a racist's logic, why wouldn't you be okay with being a racist?

    • @Robert_N
      @Robert_N 8 лет назад

      As long as Hassan does NOT follow the orders of the Quran, then he is not a terrorist.

      Are you Hanson followers so quick to forget that you're immigrants too? How could you stand for her rubbish? She has no education, no facts, no arguments, made up statistics and a tendency to use controversy to bolster her arguments rather than anything else. The logical fallacies that she commits are condemnable without the ridiculous claims she makes. What evidence does she propose to claim that Australian Muslims are to blame for anything? You can tell she's uneducated because she also doesn't realise that it's the British who are our biggest foreign investors, not the Chinese - Jesus Christ! Does she also not realise that we can't sustain economic growth without privatisation? We'd be in the hole if we didn't sell and buy - that's how the economy works because we have nothing left of primary capital to give! Do your research before you blindly follow a bat who belongs in unskilled labour, please

      ***** I will tell you that there are at least a block of 60 muslim suburbs forming now, maybe more. From Rockdale/Kogarah to Chullora to Lidcombe to North of Liverpool to Campbelltown to East Hills and everywhere in between.
      I have seen a massive influx of muslims to my suburb and surrounding suburbs over the last 6 years. My suburb and the surrounding suburbs will all be muslim suburbs like Auburn, Lakemba and Punchbowl in 30 years time if things continue at the rate they are, but it will not stop there. I have had 2 mates who are not muslim tell me in the last 10 days that Sydney will be muslim in the future. It is all about the numbers.
      We will eventually have to move, as we do not want to live in a muslim suburb. I think all of those no muslims who support more muslim immigration should be force to live what they support right now, by that I mean that they should be forced to go in live in Auburn, Punchbowl or Lakemba right now and to bring their families up in one of those suburbs. I bet very few if any would do so.
      I am interested to see the numbers from the next census. They may be doubling their numbers every ten years. If they have 1 million then it would only take 50 years for them to have a population of 32 million. Even if they were doubling their population every 20 years it would only take 100 years to reach 32 million.

      She loves an imaginary version of the country. A very pale version of the country. One where Macassan traders didn't land on Australian soil up to one-hundred years before British explorers, one where Afghan Cameleers weren't instrumental in constructing the centre, and Asian immigrants weren't the driving force for top-end occupation. Pauline Hanson loves a whitewashed country, but it bears little resemblance with the Australia of reality.

    • @weskitten
      @weskitten 8 лет назад

      Yes, you're right: it's a numbers game. We can see this in France. A large population of Muslims of about 10% is angry, marginalized from success and the good life and is prone to radical preaching. Still, they have not taken over France have they? Holland used to offer state funds to build mosques in 1980, not that country has done a rapid about face after seeing the extent of their liberal folly. Muslims and Asians do occupy suburbs in this country, ghettos if you like. If one goes to them it's easy to conclude that they have 'taken over', whereas I could show you suburbs like mine in Melbourne that remain very white with a few Indians and a few scattered Asians.

Now we own several properties /real estates that we worked hard to achieve as our ''Australian Dream'.

    Even though I live in the UK and I am an ethnic minority I support her 100%. I have no problem with any genuine asylum seeker, or refugee. However before coming to any country they must have a good command of the English language. They must give a legally binding undertaking to respect our laws. They must give a legally binding undertaking to respect our culture. They must fully integrate with our society. They must be in good health. They must make a pledge of allegiance to the Queen. Most of all they must be able to make a positive contribution to the host country's society.
    Consider my late father. He was an immigrant to United Kingdom from India in 1969. He was the world's most devout Hindu. Part of that is the strong work ethic. He never claimed a penny in welfare. He arrived in the UK with £5. He spent £3 on a taxi to a pre-arranged hostel. The following day he was at work in a hospital in a pre-arranged job..He had to work about 100 hours a week for less than minimum wage in the early part of his career. He was fluent in the English language. He was a family doctor for over 30 years an retired in 2007. He employed 10-15 people and paid at least £30,000 a year in taxes. If any family member ever went on welfare he would insist that whilst on welfare you worked voluntarily at a charity shop or at the local hospital to give back. He gave a lot of money to charity. If you would welcome an immigrant like him please write welcome below.

    Lets look at some facts Yas-mine .A bit of analysis on who gets our welfare payments. One country of birth stands out. A lot.
    Summary
    I've chosen to study a cohort of overseas-born Australians and their uptake of Australian Government welfare payments.
    76,451 Australians or 0.35% of our population was born in Lebanon.
    Of that 76,451:
    11,515 are on the Disability Support Pension. 1 in 6 Lebanese-born Australians.
    1,315 receive a Wife Pension
    5,714 receive a Carer Payment
    8,991 receive a Carer Allowance
    3,852 receive a Parenting Payment
    And none of that includes normal Family Tax Part A or B, Baby Bonus, Study Allowances, Newstart and the other more traditional welfare payments.
    The Analysis

    many things she said are so very true. great speech, and yes i was not a supporyer of her before because i fell for the mob views and pictured her in a frame of a hateful and unaccepting person, but this changed me. wonderful speech i must say. not born in Australia and been here for not long i can empathize with her from my short experience but enough to teach me many things. Nation comes first no matter where you are from.

    I generally Vote Green and I just sat through Paulines entire speech just now. Im also one of many dissapointed that they walked out, just because you dont agree with someone doesnt mean you dismiss their views so readily. Listen and challenge arguments that are ignorant. I agree with a few important points she made regarding foreign ownership of our farmland and immigrants failing to assimilate to our way of life but she really is a terrible speaker and even I could do a better job. This lady is now a senator but she has pigeon-holed many of Australias problems into a failed immigration program which I reject as extremely naive. She is an immigrant, I am an immigrant and most who read this are likely of migrant familes somewhere in our short history. There are too many sweeping statements and generalisations in this speech to warrant any deep reflection. Migration has enabled this country to develop and become competitive on the world stage. Extremists have no place in our society.

      Sheeple Spotter if you are not already familiar with The Protocols Of The Learned Elders Of Zion, then I suggest you study them. I consider The Protocols Of The Learned Elders Of Zion to be one of the most important things that I have come across. I recommend the 3 hour 38 minute translation uploaded by Reasonable Doubtt on RUclips. I hope that you enjoy my recommendation. Do not let propaganda keep you ignorant to the contents of The Protocols Of The Learned Elders Of Zion. It is prophetic document that history has proven to be genuine and authentic.

      @billpreston2162 8 лет назад

      ***** Yes I am aware of the Greatest Story Never told. I have had a brief look at it. I should have a more in depth look.
      I will give you another of my best recommendations. Look up Dr Richard Day's New Order Of The Barbarians. It is about a very revealing speech that Dr Richard Day gave in 1969 to a group of Doctors. Day was head medic for the department of Planned Parenthood and Planning. He was privy to the plans of the top of the pyramid. He spoke on many varied topics and made many predictions for the future. He has been too accurate about too many things for it to be a co incidence. I believe that the same group was behind Dr Day's speech and The Protocols Of The Learned Elders Of Zion. Among other things they both spoke of destroying Christianity (I am not a Christian either), of breaking down the family unit and of rewriting history.

    Good on you Pauline. You express what true Australians want. I for one recognise that Muslims don't want to interrogate in Australian ways. Why should we have them here especially when Muslims consider us as being infidels. I've had enough of them and so has most genuine Australians.
    There was a saying while I was at school, and it was successful. " one bad apple can spoil it for the whole barrel of apples ", so if school students enjoyed a certain activity but if a few students weren't behaving, then those activities would be stopped. This should be applied with this muslim situation here in Australia as well. We were kind enough to originally let them stay here, but they the Muslims have definitely not appreciated our kindness and they don't like us anyway.
    Welcome back Pauline 👍
