If he can't beat out Jalen , what is he good for other than trade capitol ... This young gun from Nevada has a greater ceiling that minshew....... highlight wise..I've already seen what Gardner has to offer..... And that's sitting on the bench behind Jalen who has yet to prove he's franchise......soooooo , Gardner is not a franchise QB... Just look at Tannehill. He was always mediocre at best with the Dolphins. Then years into his career he goes to the Titans and looks like a completely different player. That’s part of the reason why I wouldn’t mind getting Mariota to the Steelers because he may be able to revive his career there and live up to his rookie year hype.

Yeah being in the right scheme, with the right coaches, system, and pieces around you is so damn huge for a young QB.
