We found a peculiarity in Sweden regarding some sort of 4m spacing which should be kept between parked motorhomes. It was explained to us that it's a safety regulation (fire hazard?) and it's widely enforced in especially formal motorhome parking areas like at marinas and the like. Enjoy the trip! We left Sweden about a week ago and is in the south of Norway.
It's the same in Norway as of March 1 this year. AFAIK it applies to designated camp sites only, and possibly only for new sites or when changes are made to an existing camp site. Not completely sure of the details.
FYI just in case you didnt know. Having animals loose in the car will get you a 150 pound fine. I know its different in the UK so just a heads up. Great video BTW :)
Welcome to Sweden, my home country. I hope you enjoy it. In Sweden you will find a lot of Ställplats where you can park your RV over night for pretty decent money, many times also with showers or electric. But also, Sweden has this common land law that if you find a small gravel road leading into nowhere with a little area where you can park you can literally camp there for 24 hours without landowner permission although not to close to where people live and preferably out of sight from any household.. You do need to be careful with drone photography/videography. First of all, in Sweden you need to have a special license nowadays to even be allowed to fly a drone. Secondly, any photage need to be approved by the Landmäteriet, it is one of the organizations that for example measures and divides lots and land. Reasons is that there are many military installations everywhere in Sweden and if you photographed that and spread it in social media, even unknowingly, you might be in deep dodo so to say. I just found your channel today and enjoyed this video so will subscribe. I do wonder, where the heck y'all are from as I never heard an English accent like that. Seen your car is from UK so I reckon y'all from there.
I love how you don’t take your amazing life for granted. Continue living your dream, and thank you both for sharing it with us and making the world a happier place.
Great video ladies! Love when Camper Vibe pops up in my notifications! While I love the scenic views, I have to admit my guilty pleasure is watching you two simply banter inside the van. Safe travels!
If you are still heading south there's a British welcome (I've just been to the UK and restocked with tea) and park-up, facilities, entertainment, etc. in Skåne. Southernmost county in Sweden. My wife and I loved watching this. I am the one from Brazil and she is from Sweden. We live in Stockholm and you guys really should come all the way down here. It is an amazing city with amazing camping sites.
another STUNNING Episode . Sweden looks like a fantastic place to travel in , Parking Fanny under Willy's wood be the talk of the town . As you said , forests , lakes & ocean , perfect . There would be mountains there some place & they would be amazing. travel safe , aussie bob .
Another great day spending it with you! All I could think watching Louise was “omg power tools to her are like snacks for Emily” and then there was Emily with Twix. We all have our vices - power tools and Twix for Louise haha. Another amazing job on your vlog - so beautiful and fun to see you two having a good time! Love and light and happy travels to you! 💜
Loved your quote “ only boring people get bored “ that’s a new mantra for us 🤩🤩it really does make you appreciate life so much more 🤩absolutely love Sweden 🇸🇪❤️❤️❤️❤️awesome editing Lou and regards to the snack bandit 😂
You both are great and fun to watch. Our favorite RUclips videos to watch each week, without a doubt. We love your humor and your incredible drone shots. Thanks so much, and happy travels!
Lovely video today, so glad you got to chill with friends for a few days. Enjoyed seeing Summer jumping on the rocks and AJ in the water. You two look happy with your decisions and problem solving. Be well and travel safely and thanks for reading the comments.
Welcome to my country Sweden. I think you passed my hometown on the coast on E4 😄 I'm so glad you enjoy yourself and discover that there are gems despite a lot of forest and small lakes. I am also glad that you visited Lost in Europe and had lots of fun driving a tractor!🤣🚜 You two are absolutely hilarious. Sometimes I laugh so hard I´ll cry. You two really enjoy life and it rubs off on the rest of us. Keep it up girls. I am so much look forward to the next vlog.
Hello ladys ❤😊you are brilliant I've only found d you a few days ago and can't stop watching you I've been to so many different places with you have fun ladys Emily is so funny 😊❤
Thoroughly enjoyed this one Ladies, Sweden looks beautiful. I would love to be a fly on the wall when the cameras are off going off the banter from you both. Stay safe Ladies
The strange thing is, i haven't seen any mosquitos this year. I only had 2 bites. We're out fishing a lot and i take the dog for walks in the forest. Dinner is at 18:00, anything later is to late!
Fabulous as always! You look after Summer and AJ really well! I always like your choice of music because it is peaceful and doesn’t detract from the wonderful scenery, unlike some other van lifers who play heavy metal and everything is done at break neck speed Xxx🌈💕💕
That park up along the "costal road" is called Galtström. I was so surprised when I saw it because I live just 30 min drive from it in Sundsvall. So fun to see the spot from another perspective.
This is uplifting especially at the moment , loss in the family . Feel quite trapped as dealing with . So watching you two gives me just enough pep to keep going , thank you ❤🐾😍🥰
now there's a thought - I would love a vintage tractor (to go with my 2 Land Rover Disco's 1 & 2) what a very good idea - also. Lou for your treat cupboard, power tools and associated stuff! love the video's, always look forward to following your trips! awesome! 😁😁😊😊☀☀

Great video again and only a small ice cream 🍦 😆 🤣 and did I hear right your coming to Scotland yepee hopefully soon love seeing summer out and about on her lead
Hiya both , Great vlog! Outstanding scenery, you’re so right. We visited Stockholm on a cruise, we got up early on the morning and the archipelago, the group of small islands, is beautiful, especially at sunrise. Thanks for taking us on your journey, safe travels xx
Hya Heres a helpfull hint , to light a bbq fire out side, keep some dried large pine fur cones , with you kindle sticks , in your emergency bbq tin. Hope you all having a wonderfull time still in Sweden . X
Hahaha just laughed out loud. Never thought about Willy:s that way 😂 had to pause an write a comment. Always fun how big and small tings are seen from another perspective. And thanks for sharing your great content and personalities. Safe travels! // Ann from Sweden
Love the look of the Swedish coast, looks amazing. All the mosi kit will be very useful for the west coast of Scotland, they have sabre tooth midges there. Stay safe, love Sue and Bryn xx
Galtsrtröm, the restaurant and surrounding area, is one of my favourite places to go photograph and eat during summer, a little bit south of the city Sundsvall
Loved the vlog! Yeah, you'd never catch me complaining about too many forests and lakes. That's what's great about Minnesota too. Not the mosquitoes though. I use the portable Thermocells out on the deck and it really helps. Totally defend the necessity of those HUGE packs of Twix bars, my personal faves, yum! Beautiful scenery, fur kids seem quite happy. Can't get over how much Summer likes trekking about outside! Glad you're getting some better weather! Hoping it holds for the rest of your time there. Thanks so much, sharing this great adventure!
Debba: Thank you for the comment - I've been wondering about those Thermacells, and if they are effective against mosquitoes! So, as you attest, they are quite helpful; I'll give them a try!
Love your videos. Never fail to make me laugh 😹 As others say, I love the everyday banter as much as the surroundings and activities. Really look forward to watching them. Don’t know why people say Sweden is boring because it certainly isn’t.
Every place you 2 go I end up wanting to move to it!! I love Norway and now love Sweden!! We bought land in Scotland but now I'm confused at where I want to live as everywhere you guys have been is beautiful!! AJ seems to be having a blast and so does Summer!!
Welcome to Sweden, our home! There are loads of places like this, they might be hard to find some times but they are here. Love the content 👍👌Great stuff!
Hi Lou & Emily, just wanted to say love your channel! So entertaining, great facts & your hard work on these vids really shows! Thank you so much for taking us along! 😁
Great video as always. Em’s navy background coming to the fore, when buttering the bread using the porthole method and not going into the corners. Loved the tractor , and heaven with the power tools Lou.
Loved the fact you went straight for the tools section Lou - girl after my own heart 😂 Forests and lakes is alright by me, my favourite kind of location. Keep the banter going ladies, I so look forward to your vids when I get home from work 👍
Love the forests & lakes, hardly any people. Lost In Europe are instantly recognisable, love watching them however many or few videos they put up. A question for Lou, how often do you check tyre pressure? I find I let out so much checking I have to put some in anyway!
Just happen to find the channel via this vlog...and am glad that I did. Sweden has a lot to offer in terms of nature and amazing scenic recluse. The west coast is also real nice :). Just a small comment on the "selfish parking": that's the unwritten etiquette for campers here. You do want to leave enough space for your next door neighbor to be able to have their breathing space. It is appreciated here and hope continues as such :P. Best wishes and will be exciting to follow you!
Aw. Loving this scandinavian adventure - the both of you, the scenery, Summer and AJ....so so chuffed that you get to travel and make these videos and be able to live - and eat massive ice-creams! So much Love xx
Ding a ling a ling.. Awesome as always grrrrrls and AJ... Loving Sweden nearly as much as the mosquitos are living youz.. Ahem.. Get them citronella incense sticks ablaze n smooch with some of that oil too.. Does help here in Ireland ni bet it'll back em off a bit there too init.. Feel free and travel safe.. Till your next annuls
Brilliant footage as always! I’ve recently started to rewatch your early videos from when you started the self-build, I’m buying a van next year to convert so finding them invaluable, I love seeing how confident you’ve both become in front of the camera! And Thankyou for being so detailed with your earlier vlogs.
As a dane, I have been to sweden many times. Even you Girls do not have a lot of time left, I do hope you give yourself time to take in some of the amazing places you get past. Have a safe trip around.
Oh how random, just getting a RUclips recommendation for this video and... Ah, my hometown! RUclips doing it's magic. Nice to see you enjoying Galtström! :)
You two are having the time of your lives, and I would love to do the same thing but due to health problems I have to be careful how far I can travel, which sounds stupid for someone who drove all around Britain on the torch relay driving the camera truck ( see profile pic)and other support vehicles. At this moment in time I’m seriously thinking of getting myself a camper or doing my discovery 3 up to go on little trip just to see if I could cope, anyway girls keep up the great work and look forward to your next video cheers and all the best.
@@campervibe duff left knee and right hip, two thirds bowels removed and part of my stomach, angina, copd other than that I’m in great shape and raring to go, oh and let the matelot ( look it up lol) know the golden rivet is supposed to be the last one fitted to the ship, but there’s a whole other meaning to it as well, just don’t lean over any railings on board ship🥴🥴 nuff said ,be good,be careful and behave, good night from this old boot neck.
I remember when I was about to go first time to Sweden, my polish friend(I'm personally from Ukraine) told me exactly the same (in polish)"Tam nic niema, tylko lasy i jezera"😁(there's nothing there, just lakes and forests)
She's right. And, as a Swede, I take that as a compliment. I've got Polish friends who are now looking to buy a homestead somewhere in the north of Sweden.
I used to love lost in Europe but they stopped putting out videos 😞 I would have definitely taken a cushion for my bum in that tractor. How awesome driving a tractor Watching Lou enjoying a shopping trip and Emily topping up on snacks. Using Fanny to drive you to Willy's... perfect 🤣😂 I fell in love with Sweden because of lost in Europe but my god never seen so much snow. Northern lights & gorgeous location's and perfect views.
@@Electrowave I watched them get there, struggle with winter, waiting for residency, renovations, fantastic neighbors and so much more. Gave up waiting on videos though. Great couple & they have come so far from when they 1st arrived.
@@Anniesrandommoments Yes, they have quite a story :-) I've been following them since about 2019. I suppose they felt like they needed some time out from RUclips while they got their new homestead sorted out. They have released two videos in the past week so I sense another adventure coming.
That Lake was amazing with the sun reflecting on the water, Epic drone footage as the norm I love how Summer always jumps up when Emily opens the side door into the van, Summer knows Emniley is the dinner lady lol a huge like from me ladies well done.
With lakes like that an a boat, and a rod, its not borin! Really love how Summer moved her head to get a better view of Emily cuttin the sanga. Shiffa keeps her eye on me too. Another goodie. Thanks m8s.
I cannot express how much I love camper cat summer! 😍 watching her leaping around inand out the van . Simply amazing 👏...oh and the vid in general was great as well 🤣
The reason why there’s such a large gap between park ups is for fire reasons , in Sweden you should have at least four meters to the next vehicle . Safety first
That is so cool you went to see Ash & Marie i have followed there channel since the start. Not seen many videos recently but John said he had a new channel with his tools and such so i subscribed to that one too.
Well... I think Sweden looks stunning...you can't go wrong with lakes and forests 🙏...so peaceful. Summer was loving that bit of rock climbing wasn't she 🐾🐾😁. Also have to mention your music choices....so lovely 👌💝💝💝😊😘
My family loves you two and who cares what the tech people of this world say, lakes and forests are magical and heal from the inside out. Shame on them for not seeing what a blessing those places truly are. Thanks for sharing with us every week, look forward to the next installment of your lives. Adding Sweden to our bucket lists. Oceans are our favorite too, but you can not find access to the ocean/sea in every place you go or stay.
I used my wife abroad when overtaking to indicate how much room I had, the further back in her seat and the wider her eyes the nearer the other direction traffic was. Great fun. Love the shopping abroad as well, much better stuff than home, great video girls!
another good vlog as usual one thing good facilities in Europe then here we pay for everything here I know its vast in Norway and Sweden and France with great park ups keep it up girls with love x xxx
Great drone footage as always. Enjoying your travels. I love my dogs and it is admirable the way you give your pets your time and attention as they need it.
Great vlog Emily and Louise. Usually watch you on big TV instead of little screen on phone. So see you life size ha! Ha!. Enjoying all the lovely places and stop offs. When Fanny met Willy's would of been a good name for your blog lol. Emily's ice-cream wow. Love seeing A.J and Summer enjoying their hols. Give them a snuggle from me. Take care. See you on big TV next time. Bye 👋 xx
I'm loving your blogs. They are so entertaining and the photography is brilliant. We used to have a vw camper and toured Europe some years ago before this 'vloging' became so popular. We wish we were still doing it. Keep the blogs going I really look forward to your videos. Take care from Cornwall.
The reason that vans are parking with a huge space between is that on camping sites there must be 4 meter between vans to prevent fire from spreading. So they adapted it to all places.
I love "just lakes and forest". Blue skies, water, trees you can't go wrong.
city folk only says that lol, they don't know what anything is outside their door and their pubs 🤣
I live near the E4 in Värnamo, I allways shop in Willy:s, its only 200m from my home.

Totally agree, the banter is brilliant. I’d watch them vlog about anything!

I couldn't agree more I love what I've seen of Sweden from your videos
If you are still heading south there's a British welcome (I've just been to the UK and restocked with tea) and park-up, facilities, entertainment, etc. in Skåne.
Southernmost county in Sweden.
We're between the Ringsjön/Ring Lake and Soderåsens National Park (wooded gorge with lakes and lots of trails)
Hiking, canoeing, kayaking, multiple campervans . . .

I think Lost in Europe’s Tractor is sexy. I saw the tractor and I was like wait a minute I recognize that tractor!
The chemistry between you two is amazing. Just beautiful along with your wonderful adventures. Take care lovelies. ❤️
I would say those Vans were ok spaced like a Campsite here to prevent possible fires jumping across to another Van! Scenery is great! :-)
Your videos make me want to pack up and just go, you are both entertaining and the information is amazing, thanks 😊
Lost in Europe!! I spotted that tractor straight away then you pulled up at their gaffe. Cool colab!!!

I’ve recently started to rewatch your early videos from when you started the self-build, I’m buying a van next year to convert so finding them invaluable, I love seeing how confident you’ve both become in front of the camera! And Thankyou for being so detailed with your earlier vlogs.
Hope they are of some use Sophie 😀😀
As a dane, I have been to sweden many times.
Even you Girls do not have a lot of time left, I do hope you give yourself time to take in some of the amazing places you get past.
Have a safe trip around.
Oh we will, but definitely not nearly enough time for sure
Quality production once more Lou - great storytelling, production and edit. You really should be poking the TV execs in the ribs for a deal...!
Not sure we are tht good but thanks 😊
The discovery would be pretty good to be fair, hope the health is not too bad
@@campervibe duff left knee and right hip, two thirds bowels removed and part of my stomach, angina, copd other than that I’m in great shape and raring to go, oh and let the matelot ( look it up lol) know the golden rivet is supposed to be the last one fitted to the ship, but there’s a whole other meaning to it as well, just don’t lean over any railings on board ship🥴🥴 nuff said ,be good,be careful and behave, good night from this old boot neck.
Another beautiful video with “stunning” scenery😊
I remember when I was about to go first time to Sweden, my polish friend(I'm personally from Ukraine) told me exactly the same (in polish)"Tam nic niema, tylko lasy i jezera"😁(there's nothing there, just lakes and forests)
😆😆
She's right. And, as a Swede, I take that as a compliment. I've got Polish friends who are now looking to buy a homestead somewhere in the north of Sweden.
@@RobertClaeson "He") And yes, Sweden is lovely with all those lakes and forests
just came across this vid, well discovered it- ooh cheeky haha and have to say that place by the lakes looks fantastic-yet another great vid ladies 🙂💯
I used to love lost in Europe but they stopped putting out videos 😞 I would have definitely taken a cushion for my bum in that tractor. How awesome driving a tractor Watching Lou enjoying a shopping trip and Emily topping up on snacks. Using Fanny to drive you to Willy's... perfect 🤣😂
I fell in love with Sweden because of lost in Europe but my god never seen so much snow. Northern lights & gorgeous location's and perfect views.
I think Lost in Europe are planning more videos once the new van is sorted out.
You go well together. Not always easy to live that narrow. 👍
That Lake was amazing with the sun reflecting on the water, Epic drone footage as the norm I love how Summer always jumps up when Emily opens the side door into the van, Summer knows Emniley is the dinner lady lol a huge like from me ladies well done.
She does indeed, she is like feed me now 😆
Thanks for sharing your travels its so amazing to watch xx
Welcome! If you pass by Hälsingland there are many beautiful places!
When I saw the first drone shot of the farm I thought, "I know where they are!" and it was confirmed by the tractor! I just love that tractor! 😁
With lakes like that an a boat, and a rod, its not borin! Really love how Summer moved her head to get a better view of Emily cuttin the sanga. Shiffa keeps her eye on me too. Another goodie. Thanks m8s.
Oh she is so nosey 😆
I cannot express how much I love camper cat summer! 😍 watching her leaping around inand out the van . Simply amazing 👏...oh and the vid in general was great as well 🤣
I know - Summer is such a pretty kitty! And, AJ is a very handsome boy.
Yes, love seeing Summer and AJ, especially liked Summers head donks x
Thanks guys, they are both pretty awesome 😀😀
The reason why there’s such a large gap between park ups is for fire reasons , in Sweden you should have at least four meters to the next vehicle . Safety first
That is so cool you went to see Ash & Marie i have followed there channel since the start. Not seen many videos recently but John said he had a new channel with his tools and such so i subscribed to that one too.
I know they were so lovely and we had a great few days
Well... I think Sweden looks stunning...you can't go wrong with lakes and forests 🙏...so peaceful. Summer was loving that bit of rock climbing wasn't she 🐾🐾😁. Also have to mention your music choices....so lovely 👌💝💝💝😊😘
Thanks Sally
Brittish english is so bloody nice to hear, i just love it, great reaction!!!
Which is truly amazing 😀
I used my wife abroad when overtaking to indicate how much room I had, the further back in her seat and the wider her eyes the nearer the other direction traffic was. Great fun.
Love the shopping abroad as well, much better stuff than home, great video girls!
another good vlog as usual one thing good facilities in Europe then here we pay for everything here I know its vast in Norway and Sweden and France with great park ups keep it up girls with love x xxx
Emily you can get microfibre head towels that are really small good for your hair and they dry really quickly
Great drone footage as always. Enjoying your travels. I love my dogs and it is admirable the way you give your pets your time and attention as they need it.
They do mean the world to us
Great vlog Emily and Louise. Bye 👋 xx
That ice cream was massive 😆🙈
Don’t miss the real ocean; the salty one on the West Coast and Bohuslän with fishing villages and rounded, nice rocks ;) 🥰🙌🏼
Hi! I may have missed it, where were you at the coast? Good quote! And yes, the area is stunning! 🤩💛
We was at Galstrom 😀
I'm loving your blogs. They are so entertaining and the photography is brilliant. We used to have a vw camper and toured Europe some years ago before this 'vloging' became so popular. We wish we were still doing it. Keep the blogs going I really look forward to your videos. Take care from Cornwall.
I thought Lost In Europe has a house like that, then I thought he has a Tractor like that. Then low and behold it was Lost in Europe!!!
If that's boring, I will take it in a minute. Omg. Awesome. Incredible video. Absolutely beautiful x
The reason that vans are parking with a huge space between is that on camping sites there must be 4 meter between vans to prevent fire from spreading. So they adapted it to all places.
