I used to be just like you. I got all my resale purchases from Stock X. I had purchased 2 pair of Yeezys and 2 pair of Off White Vapormaxs (white and black) as well as eight other pairs of sneakers and I had not had a problem with authenticity. That all ended when I purchased the Off White Chuck Taylor’s. Not only were they fakes, but they were the same ones that had been popping up on eBay where the texture of the upper and placement of the tags ( as well as other details) were way off - even the box was wrong. I assumed it was an honest mistake (perhaps they had sent me shoes the meant to reject) so I contacted them. They told me to send photos of the shoes for them to examine. My fear was that they would try to accuse me of swapping them out even though the Stock X tag was still attached. I was shocked when I heard from them saying that I was wrong and the shoes were legit. They didn’t even match the photos of the shoes on their website. Once I pointed this out, they said they would take the shoes back and send me a return label. I waited two days, but no label was sent and they had stopped responding to my emails. So I contacted my credit card company. That was when Stock X decided to reach out to me. They once again promised a refund if I would dropped the charge back claim. I told this to my CC company about their request and they said I definitely should not do that as Stock X would then not be obligated to issue the refund and I would be unable to re-open the complaint. They also said that they had reached to Stock X for there version of what happened and had not heard from anyone. After about 10 days I got a full refund, but it was via a charge back. Stock X never reached out to me about returning the fake shoes (which I sill have in my garage) even though I have told them I will happily return them if they send a label. If Stock X had simply admitted to their mistake I would have no issues with them. People and businesses make mistakes, but I feel like Stock X tried to knowingly rip me off. You don’t have to believe what I am saying, but I think it is important that people know what happened to me in this situation - not because they made a mistake, but because they refused to own up to it. I have heard similar stories from others and if it hadn’t happened to me I would probably not have believed it myself. I had spent a lot of money with Stock X so I needed to be able to trust them. I believe all the other shoes I purchased from them are 100% legitimate, but I will never do business with them again.

I sent in 3 pairs Monday, was paid in full Thurs morning when I woke up.
Crazy fast payouts for sellers. On the otherhand I ordered a pair of Top 3 Jordan 1's on the 12th and they're arriving this Mondaay the 30th. 18 days is a long wait after pressing 'buy', but normally it doesn't take this long. I even contacted them and Charlie was super nice and responded immediately. He told me they were a little backed up but my shoes were being legit checked and would be mailed out within 24 hours. So long as they come correct, I'm happy.
Only thing I hate is how long that shit takes to get my shoes, but stock x is too nice wit it

I rock with StockX all day! They are killing the game right now in terms of a buying perspective. Selling on the other hand is a little tougher if you trying to get that extra paper. People under cut you to a point where you can't make that extra paper. I don't have an issue with that because that's just the game!....The only gripe I have is the average 10 day wait on getting your kicks!

I have had two bad experiences with stockX.
First time i ordered a pair of retro 12 psny's grey that was obviously a B grade. Noticed several defects on first sight. When i complained about it just letting them know the situation i was told the shoes look great and just resale them back thru stockX. My account was under reveiw (banned) until i complained again.
Second time i seen a good deal on a pair of retro 6 infrared's. Once i received the shoes and took them out the box i instantly could tell the shoes had been worn. Dirty on the bottom and a couple scuffs on the toe area. When i complained about it i was told that i have made to many complaints and my account would be banned. I had to go through paypal to get a refund on both pair.
I cant speak for everybody but i can speak on my experience. I will never buy from stockX again.

I hate stock x. I’ve sold and bought many shoes. Whenever I sell. I ALWAYS include everything in the box. All the paper work, receipts, extra laces etc. shoes are always Truly Deadstock. Never worn, not even tried on. But whenever I buy from stock x. There’s always something missing or something wrong. Last purchase was the black diamond dunks. I didn’t get the extra laces, the white midsole was dirty af and the Velcro underneath the silver check was also dirty , before that was the humidity dunks. Again, no extra laces and the translucent sole has tiny pebbles stuck inbetween the grooves of the sole. Meaning it was worn. I’d stay away. I’m over it
I been saying for years expensive shoes should have a gram of gold in the sole.. so if they wanna make fakes they gotta spend at least 100 bucks to make them.. it will definitely be a deterrent...

Honestly, he is 100% correct but yes you can buy from eBay without worry too I am a seller and I have boughten fakes and since that is considered fraud either ebay or paypal can get you your money back. Plus most of the time, if you put a dispute towards the item that you know, is fake sellers won't respond to dispute and now you have a free fake item plus the money back. Now I recommend for buyers to try and be knowledgeable before you purchase any item.

Let me explain something to you young man. I’ve watched some of your shows and I happen to like some of your content. As I was searching for reseller reviews, this video came up so I’m here. I’ve been recently trying to buy shoes that I wanted when I was a child and been investigating the process. This has become a cool hobby for me.
Let’s get something straight. When a company like stockx advertises that they will authenticate shoes at 100%. It’s there responsibility to keep their word. People that purchase shoes want transparency and honesty from a company. When you tell your viewers that it’s there responsibility to understand how to authenticate shoes when people are trusting the company to do its job you’re sending mixed signals to your viewers. If people go to a company like stockx and they get ripped off, the company is not doing their job period!!
I understand that you either get sponsored or work for stockx, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but when you’re defending a company by throwing the responsibility to the customer when the company messes up, you come across disingenuous to your viewers. By making statements like this you’re not helping this company and you may lose viewers. Remember, viewers are the ones that get you paid. You’re conflict of interest is placing your credibility in jeopardy with some viewers.

Shit like not getting both shoe trees when your kicks arrive, or shoes being laced in a certain way, making it look like they were tried on ... peep the soles too, if they look like they were tried on up top, they probably look like they were tried on down low too.
