This is the first paternoster that I´ve seen with lamps that change their colour from red to green when a cabin is on the same level with the floor so that you can enter it, and back to red when it has passed the floor. And I´ve seen a lot of paternosters in Germany (where I live), Austria, Denmark, Switzerland and Czech Republic.
It looks very modern compared to paternosters in my country (Czechia), I guess they were making new in UK even after war or it's very modded. Our paternosters are mostly from 20s or 30s.

I remember one year I had a dream that evil owl was saying he will take over the entire world with his cheap crap and he was screaming replace into my ear and it was very loud and I had to wake up to snap myself out of it and it felt like I woke up from a concussion or something and then as he was screaming my vision started seeing him spinning closer to me and it was so freaky and it was also scary as hell
