I have that particular guitar tuned down so that I can play “Avalanche” which is a step lower than Partisan. So you have to capo to play this song in the original tuning. You can watch any old video of Leonard playing it and he is doing the same thing. Hope this helps!
@@jasonmelo9379 First at all, he didn"t tune it 4 steps down, but 2 steps down . That is needed to play Avalanche in the original tuning. Thus, need a capo on first fret to play The Partisan in its original tune (-1 full step). I do play it as well, not as perfect as he does, with heavy nylon strings such as Savarez Cristal Solist. It's not buzzing or whatsoever. If it does on your side, change your guitar..
Please keep making these. They are excellent.
This is a super good cover. I appreciate you got the angle good so I can follow the fingering and learn it. 👍
Only two videos? What happened? You need to make more of these!
Amazing! Perfect picking and beautiful voice

Thanks for posting. Really well done. I thought I was playing it properly in Em capo 3rd I’ll be setting it up like you now. All the best. JD

@@cohenguitarcovers9999 well I imagine you have some heavy strings on there.
@@jasonmelo9379 It’s been so long since I changed them I couldn’t even tell you what I have on there 😂
@@cohenguitarcovers9999 there's no way you can tune this down for steps. It would be buzzing like crazy. So what's going on here? I need to know.
